Candidates To Participate
Even before the resurrection, the sea water had its normal density and the body of Jesus had its proper density, yet Jesus walked on water (Matt.14:26). This LORD of the many-layered wisdom of God (Eph.3:10) is not bound by dimensions, nor by the poverty of human experience, nor by the laws of gravity or mass. Therefore, the advancing of His Kingdom and the sons of that Kingdom are candidates to participate in what their King has set up.
”Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” (Isa.9:7)

Good Heritage Results
Your healing is not dependent upon how much of something has come down through your bloodline or how much of something is lacking in your bloodline. What is purportedly happening to your age-group financially and health-wise are not predetermined factors that sons and daughters of God must bow to.
“The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage.” (Ps.16:6, Amp)
“I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.” (Ps.37:25, Amp)

Expectancy: Variations On A Theme
Let’s take the lid off Expectancy through Variations on a Theme: I have seen artists do variations on a theme, like roses for example. With twenty artists painting roses, the
colors and shapes and sizes and details vary to such extremes that the results are unique beyond imagination. I believe that it would help us clear some of the fog about our life calling and purpose if we expected a variation on a theme, if we expected our lives to produce a unique expression of obedience. For too long many of us have lived in EXPECTANCY that is limited in scope, especially regarding purpose, calling and fulfillment. Purpose often gets narrowed down to constricted categories as either religious, noble callings or secular, ignoble callings that are simply necessary functions in society. Experience and tradition narrow thinking even further by defining the most noble to be callings of God as those within the church structure or system. Even the gifts of the Spirit have been so narrowly confined that we don’t expect a word of knowledge outside a church service nor do we expect a working of miracles in secular corporations or classrooms. All these limited definitions have dictated our EXPECTANCY level and eventually our outcomes. The theme of all our lives should be to glorify God on the earth by accomplishing the work , (effort or occupation) He has given us to do, (John 17:4, NAU) There is no need to box that in, instead, let’s keep the theme of doing what you were born to do open to the Holy Spirit’s variations. Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to direct our EXPECTANCY and determine how we paint a rose in our lifetime.

The Living Stone
In Daniel’s writing, he sees Jesus as The Stone (Dan.2:35). By the time we get to the New Testament, Peter is referring to Jesus as the “Living Stone.” To whom coming, [as unto] a LIVING STONE, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, [and] precious… (1Pe 2:4). It is most interesting to note that the only ones “disallowing” the Stone is “men.” In Psalm 2 when “kings of the earth set themselves against the Lord” and “rulers took counsel together” against the Lord, God sat far above them in the heavens untouchable and laughed at those men who had no power to touch the all-powerful God of the heavens. It simply does not matter how many or who has “disallowed” the Living Stone. What does matter is that He “is chosen of God”.

Five Facts

This is the day the Lord has made so…
I will rejoice and be glad and be assured in emphasizing these 5 facts:
1. THE Lord (the Lord above all lords) is my Shepherd
2. the LORD (“Yehovah” – “the existing One”) is my Shepherd
3. the Lord IS (now, in these circumstances and this day) my Shepherd
4. the Lord is MY (not just my momma’s and my preacher’s) Shepherd
5. the Lord is my SHEPHERD (provides for and guides me because I am His) * (Ps23:1)

Opposition + You + Holy Spirit = Victory
Opposition + You + Holy Spirit = Victory
Numerous times in the books of Judges, Samuel and Kings we read the phrase, “and the Spirit of the Lord came upon him (e.g. Jud 3:10).” Have you ever noticed that when we read that phrase that shortly after that, the whole set of circumstances turns completely around for the entire nation of Israel? If the Spirit of the Lord came upon one individual under the old covenant and completely intervened for an entire nation, what could happen when, under the new covenant, the Spirit of the Lord endues a body of believers? What will happen when we begin to factor in the Holy Spirit to everything that concerns us, our families, our churches and our nation? What will happen when we make room for Him, time for Him and actually expect Him to show up and do something through us? As a child in Sunday School, I was actually taught as truth that “one shall set a 1,000 to flight and two 10,000.” I was also taught with some degree of vehemence “greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.” Numerous times in public places, the Holy Spirit has used us in gifts of power that have demonstrated the love and power of God to individuals. Because we travel the same routes repeatedly, we have seen some of those people again and they remember that time we ministered to them.
In Jud 3:10 the Spirit of the Lord came upon aged Othniel and saved the day for a nation. The equation was NOT: Israel’s oppression + aged Othniel. BUT it was: Israel’s oppression + aged Othniel + the Spirit of the Lord. The Holy Spirit is the key to our authority and His power is our enablement. Barnes says that “the Holy Spirit endued them with extraordinary wisdom, courage and strength.”
