Kathy — I’ve asked the Lord many times, “How long are fiery trials supposed to last?” I’d like to say He answered, “Twenty minutes to twenty days, max!” However, we have all lived long enough to know better. He patiently explains to me, again, that time is not the issue in trials. Results are the issue. While we watch the clock or calendar during trials, God looks at the growth, maturity and changes in us. (Rom.5:3-4)
Your new season is only a paradigm shift away. It may not be possible for some of us to fulfill our course and walk through the experiences and circumstances that course will take us through, while maintaining our same old paradigms about who God is and how He moves and works in this hour. One of the purposes of seasons is likely the purpose to open up a wider revelation of who God is and what His ways are. (Rom12:2)
As the people of God assemble today may they rejoice and be glad and grow strong in spirit and be filled with wisdom. Jesus was born with purpose and so are we. From the beginning, He not only grew physically but in His spirit and in wisdom for what was to come. One of our major goals for our children in 2020 should be to see them filled with the Spirit and to train them in godly wisdom. “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him.” (Lk.2:40)

Don’t allow people or circumstances to talk you out of the promise, purpose or prophecy of God. Be careful who you allow to persuade or dissuade you. Don’t just stand around listening to what people think or say. Go back to what God has said, what God has done. Go back to that moment, no matter how faint or how brief. (Rom.4:21)
The Rock hit Goliath in the mind resulting in a miraculous, unprecedented victory. (1Sam.17:49) The Goliath of this age: the mind, the thinking, the reasoning of opposition to Christ and His purpose in this hour of history must be hit with THE Rock (2Sam.22:2;Mt.7:24): i.e., His Word, His righteousness, His purpose, His Name, His actions… consistently. A biblical worldview must be foremost in the hearts and actions of His people.
Stars and planets were said to have lined up for this one-time event. The star that pointed the way to the newborn King was the result of predetermined movements of the heavenly bodies. Yahweh’s creation is a unified vehicle for His will. Importance of the birth of Jesus caused the members of the universe to come into a particular alignment both for cooperation and to highlight the significance of the coming Savior (Lk1:31-32).
Jesus, son of Abraham and son of David, born when the seed of Abraham was a despised people and tributary to the Roman yoke and when the house of David was buried in obscurity. The performance and provision of God comes when circumstances would place upon it the heaviest it has to offer. Ease and convenience are not the components of fulfillment. The Christmas story is a story of hope in the face of all that is contrary. “Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise and expected God to fulfill it. He took God at his word…” (Rom.4:18a, TPT)
The birth of Jesus, Savior of the world, was announced in terms supernatural. The pronouncement & the experiences of those involved in the broadcast cannot be explained in mere natural terms. Not only did angels appear to Jewish shepherds but a heavenly phenomenon caught the attention of learned Gentile observers and drew them to the City of David to worship One whom they would hail as King of the Jews. (Acts 4:12, Amp) ”And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.”
I was praying over a situation for which I have no answers and can do nothing about. As soon as I prayed I heard, “Now, let go of all of your ideas of how this thing needs to be worked out and let Me have it.” As we head into Christmas and a new year may we lay down every weight, worry, and preconceived idea of what the will of God should look like in our current situations, and leave it in the capable hands of the One Whose birth we are celebrating! Have a very Merry Christmas and may you find peace unspeakable in the decision to trust the One who already set us free. — Melissa Gabler

Growing up on Abraham Avenue, Zacharias, Elizabeth, Joseph and Mary had no idea how they would fit in the plans of God & the history of man. Amid all their lessons in history & prophecy from the Torah, they had never pictured themselves as key players in the greatest story ever told. However, their lives were divinely positioned for the plans of God. God intends your life to be spent to His glory. (Jer29:11) — Kathy G
As the people of God assemble today may all ye faithful come, assemble today and be joyful and triumphant as we adore Him: CHRIST THE LORD, JESUS, KING OF THE JEWS, SON OF THE MOST HIGH, THE HOLY CHILD, SON OF GOD, GOD MY SAVIOR. (Luke Chapter One) We will be joyful in considering His names and titles and all their implications for Israel, for us and for the nations as were Gabriel and Mary. Let us give voice to those names and titles today with expressions of hope.
Peter and John went to the temple just having received the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. They are bearers of the Spirit of God and His Kingdom. The lame man’s circumstances are instantly changed, not because he received more money than he ever has, but because he has received the manifestation of a Higher Government which the old order was incapable of imparting. (Acts 3:10)
Limitations bring groaning, despair and hopelessness. There is a better way to live. “Thy Kingdom come.” We must get the conduct and relationships of heaven into this earth. The fruit of the Spirit (Gal.5:22-25) manifests the conduct and relationships of heaven. We must get the power and benefits of heaven into this earth. The gifts of the Spirit (1Co.12:7-11) manifest the power of heaven over our limitations.

“Your throne is established from of old. You are from everlasting.” (Ps.93:2) Before any sons of Belial (“reckless, lawlessness”) planned or implemented their shenanigans, God was already on His throne. Before any elements came together to form a disaster, He was. Before Abraham, Jesus is “I Am.” (Jn.8:58) So, as Melissa sings, “He stands above it all.” And we run to the Rock that is higher than us. “For no matter where I am, even when I’m far from home, I will cry out to you for a father’s help. When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life, guide me into your glory, where I am safe and sheltered.” (Ps.61:2, TPT)

Groaning for the sons of God to be revealed is met with the power of Holy Spirit in bringing the realm of heaven into history. Holy Spirit brings what exists in the realm of heaven into history… just like Jesus was. How was that done? Mary asked, “How shall this be?” The answer: “The Holy Ghost shall come upon you and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you.” (Lk.1:35) It happens the same way today.
As the people of God assemble today may they be looking around, not to see who is in attendance or who is absent but to see what wondrous act Yahweh will perform next in someone’s spirit or someone’s body or someone’s soul. “Now watch as the Lord does great miracles.” (1Sam.12:16, TLB)
Marty is live on his Facebook page with ON THE GO as he travels down the road. It is an inspirational word for living victoriously in Christ as you are “on the go”. Watch for it, tune in and be inspired.
“The earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God”(Rom.8:19) God built that expectancy into creation because He had built into His sons the ability to meet it by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Creation was designed to wait upon the government of God manifested in His redeemed ones; ones who would declare and decree in keeping with His will for their respective generation. (Ps.71:18)
