Life’s Intention

MELISSA GABLER—The day resurrection power was unleashed on earth was the day our life’s intention was set in place. We were born to seek out the reality of heaven and live it here – “…seek and keep on seeking and you will find“ Matt. 7:7, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matt. 6:10. Earth and the humans God placed in it were not a gamble that He hoped would work out in His favor. His fingers are not crossed. His ultimate plan has dominion in its DNA and that’s a ticking time bomb the enemy is trying to disarm. That ultimate plan is us, made in His image. The clock is ticking down to the enemy’s demise and that is why things are full on insane and only heating up.

Heat of Trials Makes it Tempting to Run

KATHY GABLER—If we study the progression of Romans 5:4, (trials then perseverance then character then hope), we begin to understand the real issues. Threshold wars are waged when the heat of trials gets our character to a red-hot blaze, like the point when metal can be changed and re-shaped. That is the point when the heat makes it tempting to quit and run to the nearest place of relief rather than complete the process by submitting to the Blacksmith’s hammer. So these wars are screaming the question while we’re in the heat of battle: “Will you do the right thing, let God change your heart and mind where necessary? Will you choose to respond to trials with wisdom and develop godly character; or will you remain the same person, refusing to be conformed to His image?” And our answer at this point will either propel us on to hope and toward promise, or cause us to fall short of hope and promise.

Meeting the Groan

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may they receive the invigorating, equipping Word of God that will compel them to meet the groan of creation. That groan that is for those revealed as the authorized and empowered sons who release the compassion and power of the risen Christ to assuage the groan of that which is out from under the order of the King of Kings.   “[ Present distress is temporary and negligible ] In my opinion whatever we may have to go through now is less than nothing compared with the magnificent future God has planned for us. The whole creation is on tiptoe to see the wonderful sight of the sons of God coming into their own. The world of creation cannot as yet see reality, not because it chooses to be blind, but because in God’s purpose it has been so limited—yet it has been given hope. And the hope is that in the end the whole of created life will be rescued from the tyranny of change and decay, and have its share in that magnificent liberty which can only belong to the children of God!” (Rom.8:18-21, JB Phillips)

Getting Caught up Into Momentum

MARTY GABLER—It is not that momentum is increasing, it is that we are getting caught up into it. There has never been a point at which Jahweh’s plan has lacked momentum nor has He ever slowed down His plan, nor has His interest in getting us to purpose waned. Jahweh is drawing us ever more into His pre-existent, always-existent momentum.   “…I am GOD, the only God you’ve had or ever will have– incomparable, irreplaceable–   10  From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, Assuring you, ‘I’m in this for the long haul, I’ll do exactly what I set out to do,’ “ (Isa.46:9b-10, Msg)

Praying During This Time

MELISSA GABLER—Here are some practical ways to pray during this time.  (Quick side note, our first priority in wartime prayer is to tend to our relationship with our God.  It’s through that relationship that we learn to trust the One who created this earth, and know how to pray from divine truth.)  Back to prayer, 1. A practical way to pray is tongues.  Praying in tongues is speaking mysteries that only God can understand.  1 Corinthians 14:2 “For one who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to people but to God; for no one understands him or catches his meaning, but by the Spirit he speaks mysteries [secret truths, hidden things].”  There’s no babbling going on here, just full-on pure interaction with the King.  So, this means the soul can’t get in the way, nor can what we just saw on the news.

The Path to Victory is Daily

KATHY GABLER—In these times of trouble and civil unrest, the path to victory is . . . DAILY.  We are to listen for God’s instructions . . . daily.  We are to continue in the path of calling and purpose . . . daily. We are to trust the Lord with the battle whether it is without or within us . . . daily.  There may be nights of weeping (Psa. 30:5) but joy comes with the morning when the Light reveals His perspective and gets us to effectual prayer and powerful results.  Pray with confidence.  None of us is a victim without recourse.  Each of us can make a difference and be a part of civil war turning into civil victory with our prayers, with our voice and with our vote.

Destiny of the Church: To Rule With Christ

MARTY GABLER—The destiny of the church is not to line up at the end of a service and shake the preacher’s hand so we can get to heaven. The destiny of the church is to rule with Christ in this life so that He is glorified in bringing many sons to the realization of why they were born (Heb2:10). 1Pe 2:9  “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and DISPLAY the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (Amp) We were born to “show forth”, to “put on display,” to witness to powers and principalities (Eph 3:10) in this life. Our theme song is not “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” but it is “Shine, Jesus Shine!” The destiny of the Church is to rule in this life by the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, covered by the blood of Jesus, walking in grace and imitating the life of Jesus.

Age Opposed Purpose

KATHY GABLER—Do you think Elizabeth was PREPARED to be the mother of the forerunner of the Messiah?  In all her prayers for a child, that had definitely never entered her mind!  On top of that, Elizabeth was barren; and she and her husband were both well along in years.  Age opposed purpose!  Age defied destiny.  Age contradicted the plans of God!  So, no, she was not PREPARED to birth John the Baptist, but she was POSITIONED by God . . . in destiny . . . in purpose . . . in the history of mankind! With God all things are possible no matter what area you are barren in and no matter your age.

Destiny And Identity

MARTY GABLER—Destiny And Identity—Often musings are vocalized as to the deep, mystical reason there are “so few young people in our churches.” Yet, in all honesty, one must wonder why young people, who have an eye to the future, would want to be around a bunch of people who regularly express misery, disappointment and desire for getting out of here. Many people express themselves as only having a hope to get to heaven. There is great faith to get to heaven but not much evidenced for anything prior to that desired place of dwelling. Churchmen have presented heaven as our goal (consider the goal of Rom8:29 & Gal4:19)  and have tended to present Jesus as little more than a ticket to get there. Has religion inferred to a world rampant with hopelessness that the only answer is to get to heaven so everything will be OK? Is it possible that the underlying implication offered to a coming generation is that Jesus is powerful enough to get someone to heaven but He isn’t much good for anything else? The destiny of the Church is not heaven but displaying a living Christ now to the children who must be given identity and purpose. Perhaps then they will find their place in their generation and answer the longing of creation for the manifestation of the sons of God (Rom8:19), and become destiny on display.  (seecministries.org)

First and Foremost

MELISSA GABLER — Here’s what you need to know first and foremost: YOU are important, YOU have a piece that the rest of us need, YOU have a gift and skill combo no one else has, YOU will live and not die, YOU are created for His glory, and all of these things are His original intent for you at this time in history! Now that that is in the atmosphere, let’s talk about life in the season ahead.

Fit in the Plans of God

KATHY GABLER—Growing up on Abraham Avenue, playing Hopscotch and Hide-and-go-seek, Zacharias, Elizabeth, Joseph and Mary had no idea how they would fit in the plans of God and the history of man.  Amid all their lessons in history and prophecy from the Torah, they had never pictured themselves as key players in the greatest story ever told.  However, their lives were divinely positioned for the plans of God.

Lord, Open Our Eyes

MARTY GABLER—May the Lord open the eyes of His people that they be aware of chicanery and fraud before they become victim to it. May those who have fallen victim have their loss restored seven times, while those who cheat others learn the error of their ways.  “But even so, he is fined seven times as much as he stole, though it may mean selling everything in his house to pay it back.” (Prov.6:31, Living Bible)

Tools Needed for the Tool Belt

MELISSA GABLER — The last season the Lord led us through was a time of getting the tools needed for the tool belt.  It was a season of starting to ask the wise, right questions instead of the fear-driven questions.  A fear-driven question already has an answer in mind and can’t hear anything but that.  A wise question is open to hear truth.  Asking those wise questions always got an answer.  A lot of answers were personal things that needed to be dealt with in me.  This even led me to go on a fear fast (that has not ended)!

Where Anticipation is Often Sabotaged

KATHY GABLER—The Father-son relationship is where anticipation is often sabotaged.  If all we can see in the mirror is who we are now or any given moment, instead of who we were born to be, there is no anticipation because we are not thinking like our Father.  (“As a man continues to think in his heart, so is he”, Prov.23:7)  If we see ourselves as “only human” or not worthy or capable to act in our Father’s authority and power, that roots back to relationship and sonship issues.  If we have to rebuild our sense of covenant every time that doubt or condemnation or failure knocks on our door, we won’t come close to anticipation or God-outcomes.

God’s Unchanging Hand

MARTY GABLER–As the people of God assemble today may they take hold of God’s unchanging hand so that He may lead them as they press through the summer. May they trust Him daily and call on Him daily. Isa.41:10,TPT — “Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.’

Proceedings Proceed to the Desired End

MARTY GABLER–May the Lord work in behalf of His people so that property sells for the price that it is worth. May buyers and sellers come together in a timely fashion. May all proceedings and closings proceed to the desired end without a hitch.   “For God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel, says, “Life is going to return to normal. Homes and fields and vineyards are again going to be bought in this country.”’ (Jer.32:15, Msg)

God is Using Oppression to Deliver Us

MELISSA GABLER — A couple of weeks before I heard “No longer subjugated” the Lord told me that He is using this current oppression to deliver us from life-long oppression. So, when subjugation came up it was quite loud to me that He was saying we are no longer under control of decades, possibly centuries, of oppression. This is huge! This is part of the awakening. We’ve been asleep at the wheel and this explains to me why we haven’t seen great and mighty things on a larger scale that we know we are supposed to be seeing.

Don’t Let The Mountain Block The View

KATHY GABLER—Don’t Let The Mountain Block The View. As he prayed “Search me, O God, and know my heart,” (Ps.139:23) David wasn’t just praying for an examination and a test score.  He was positioned to repent.  He submitted to God knowing God’s answer or instructions would bring change in his thinking and his opinions, perhaps in his relationships and daily lifestyle. David knew he must release fear or grief or offense as God pointed them out so that those things would not block his view of God.   (martygabler.com)

The Wall of the Lord’s Protection

MARTY GABLER—May the wall of our Lord’s protection be drawn around His people today; around their property, their belongings, their good name, their accounts and passwords.  “You are all around me—in front of me and in back of me.  You lay your hand on me.” (Ps.139:5, GW)

Fear Dumping

MELISSA GABLER—The Holy Spirit prompted me to ask for a season of “Fear Dumping”. Then I saw a picture of a chronic cycle just about at its start over place, but this time there was a button readily available to be pushed called “Fear Dump”. When we make the choice to push that button, all of the fear driving that cycle will be dumped causing that cycle to end! A season of fear dumping is upon us, PUSH THAT BUTTON! “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2Tim.1:7, NKJV)

Revealing Mountains

KATHY GABLER—Revealing Mountains — May we be like David as he prayed for the mountains within himself to be revealed in Psalms 139:23,24. Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (NKJ) A paraphrased word study reveals this in his prayer: “O God, examine me and reveal my mind, my knowledge, my thinking, my memories, my inclinations, my determinations, my conscience, my moral character, my appetites, my emotions and my passions.  Scrutinize me and reveal my disturbing thoughts and opinions.”  When David asked God to search him for wicked ways he was NOT on a guilt-driven search for evil and moral decay in himself.  The word translated “wicked” here is used only two other times in the Old Testament and both times it was translated “sorrow.”  So David was asking God to see if there were any high places of idolatry in him that had been built on wounds or offense or sorrow or hardship or bitter memories.  He was asking God to see if there  was any experience or threat bigger or more important to him than God.  David knew those things could distort God’s counsel and instructions and even block him from God’s presence.  Every soulish mountain-stronghold becomes a blind spot that blocks us from seeing God’s truth and purpose, thereby keeping us from God’s presence and plans in some part of our life.

Christ Has Made Them Free

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may they stand in the liberty wherewith Christ has made them free, and in their praise and worship of Him may they pull further from captivity and its residue than they ever have before. May sounds and acts of freedom fill the atmosphere and may those who are bound be set free in an atmosphere of breaking shackles.  ”Plant your feet firmly therefore within the freedom that Christ has won for us, and do not let yourselves be caught again in the shackles of slavery.”
(Gal.5:1, Phillips)
