What Will we Allow or Disallow?

The Kingdom of God is the rule of God, the authority of God, the presence of God and the influence of God. Evil cannot stop the establishing of the Kingdom. There will be resistance in this present age against the sons of the Kingdom but whether or not it turns into defeat for us as individuals is up to us. What will we allow and what will we disallow? What will we bind and what will we loose? Matt.16:19

Identity, Affirmation and Boundaries

Kathy — Self-image, self-worth and self-government cannot be determined by your IQ or strengths or looks or successes or skills, but neither are they determined by experiences or failures or opinions or lies.  The thing that outranks all of that is your relationship with the Father and guaranteed daughtership or sonship.  Identity, affirmation and boundaries are powerfully established through that relationship.

Our Stance in This Season

Melissa Gabler — Our stance in this season is standing—standing on the truth that our magnificent God is doing something BIG.  He is establishing His plan for the last half of 2021 and beyond.  Again, we GET to be a part of this.  We GET to be a change agent simply by standing.  Yes, YOU have what is needed for this moment.  Now is not the time to throw your hands up.  Now is the time to take a deep breath and watch the glorious show unfolding in the days ahead.  Yes, there will be shockers.  BUT all we need to know is that those shockers are proof that God is shaking what can be shaken (Heb. 12:27-28)!  Thankful to be Your daughter, my King.  “The kingdom of God doesn’t come by counting the days on the calendar. Nor when someone says, ‘Look here!’ or, ‘There it is!’ And why? Because God’s kingdom is already among you.” (Luke 17:21 MSG) It’s time to wake up, and be who we were born to be.  Let’s win this war, as God has intended.

Waves and the Kingdom

What did the waves of Mk 4:37-41 do to Jesus? They did nothing whatsoever to Him physically or even emotionally. He was able to rest in the midst of them! But the same waves brought up fear in the disciples so that they were unable to function. Jesus had a Kingdom mentality. We must embrace His Kingdom mentality: He was completely convinced of His authority in the midst of, and indeed, over storms.

Outgrow Feelings of Unworthiness

Kathy Gabler — I know a lady who was raised on the church bench.  She had such a heart for God when she was young, that she truly considered marrying a minister.  She is wired primarily eagle, who tends to require perfection in self.  She is also ox, wanting no conflict, and she has a motivational gift of serving as well.  She went right from high school to being a secretary.  As choices flowed in her life, she married young and went through two divorces.  Being a conscientious church girl, she saw herself as disqualified and a failure.  She struggled with thinking that her potential and purpose were lost.  For years, her self-image and self-worth were shaken.  However, even with those two elements shaken, she was one of those exceptional people that had enough strength of character not to allow her self-government to take a dive.  She remained diligent in her career and rose to executive secretary.  After dealing with taunting questions like “Who am I now?   Why am I here now? (since I’ve messed up so badly),” she came to the realization that God had not changed His mind about His original intent for her and her gifts and calling were still intact.  Today, she has overcome and is an awesome intercessor, just as she was originally intended to be.  She realizes now that even her time as a secretary was actually intercessory in nature, building bridges between problems and their resolve.  She outgrew her feelings of unworthiness to even allow the Holy Spirit to stir gifts in her of discernment and prophetic proclamation.

Awareness

Melissa Gabler — What is our part in this next season? Awareness.  We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight.  Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion.  After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors.  You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda.  Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity.  One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues.  Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this.

Unshakeable Kingdom

As the people of God assemble today may they radically praise, worship, preach and prophesy of the righteous order of God coming into the heart of this nation. May their hearts never wilt because of the unrighteous and the plans of the unrighteous but know and trust that “we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom [and] we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe.” (Heb.12:28,TPT)

Power Acts, Powerful Reactions

Some say Matt.11:12 refers to a battle: “the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.” There is no language in the Bible which shows evil attacking the Kingdom. But properly put: the Kingdom of heaven acts powerfully and requires a powerful reaction. Jesus taught that because the dynamic power of His Kingdom has invaded the world, men are to respond with a radical reaction (Matt.5:29-30).

Too Fragmented to Function

Kathy — When our self-image takes a hit, it is tempting to feel so fragmented that we stop functioning.  If we do, then condemnation seeps into those cracks and tries to “kill”  (Jn.10:10) our relationship with our Father and tries to “steal”  (Jn.10:10) our sense of worth and tries to “destroy” (Jn.10:10) our self-government.  Condemnation is one of the most lethal weapons the devil uses because it carries a mixture of truth and lie that is particularly toxic.  Condemnation’s first punch is usually true, like, “You know you messed up. You’re guilty.”   However, it’s second punch is a poisonous lie like, “There is no way out, no healing for a damaged self-image.  There is no way to redeem value that was lost and no restoration of broken boundaries.”  Those lies should make you want to spit!

Intensity of Evil Being de-Throned

Melissa — It’s happening folks! The intensity you feel right now is an evil agenda being de-throned.  God has not, and will not take His hand off of this nation! We are a blessed people, and we GET to be a part of His Kingdom invasion.  Come. On. Now. “The zeal of the Lord of hosts“ is accomplishing a miraculous transformation in the United States of America.  Does it look like what most of us thought a miraculous transformation would? Probably not.  Does it matter what we thought it should look like? Absolutely not.

The Kingdom Cannot be Assailed

Evil comes against the sons of the Kingdom in various forms of pressure aimed at an individual’s failure but cannot assail the Kingdom of God. God is not nor will He ever be on the defensive. God is the Aggressor! He is moving forward and He takes what is His with Him. He aggressively moves forward with His program and He will not keep silent. Ps.50:3,TPT—“With the rumble of thunder he approaches; he will not be silent, for he comes with an earsplitting sound! All around him are furious flames of fire, and preceding him is the dazzling blaze of his glory.”

Success by Sonship

Kathy — The third thing the devil did was offer Jesus a way to get what He came after by getting out of bounds on a shortcut.  Satan offered to not oppose Him and give Him the kingdoms of this world (Rev. 11:15).  Jesus knew the kingdoms of the world were to be His, but He knew better than to worship Satan to get them.  Jesus was a mature son of strong character, and He was so intent upon obedience and self-government, that He couldn’t be tempted by success any other way.  Adam and Eve did fall for the temptation to get out of bounds and reach beyond the will of God.  Then, evidently, they did not truly repent because they passed on the “thinking of their heart” to the next generation.  Cain cracked his own mirror also by reaching outside God’s boundaries with a sacrifice that wasn’t acceptable.  Then his self-worth plummeted and his self-government completely toppled when he murdered his brother.

War in Atmosphere

Melissa — There is a war in the atmosphere over our nation. It’s like a virus that causes complete irrationality brought on by the stubborn refusal to take personal responsibility. This “virus” was released by an evil agenda to build a one-world dictatorship in the “land of the free and the home of the brave”! How? By coddling, and stroking the broken. By wooing them with band-aids, and promising them “Kool-aid”. Instead of teaching people they don’t have to be a victim of their circumstances, this “virus” took advantage of their emotional state for it’s own selfish, ungodly gain. Well, guess what, “There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 9:7 AMP) It’s happening folks!

Unchanging Hand

As the people of God assemble today may they take hold of God’s unchanging hand so that He may lead them as they press through the summer. May they trust Him daily and call on Him daily. Isa.41:10,TPT — “Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.’

Practice Peaceful Words

As the people of God assemble today may they rejoice in the liberty of Christ Jesus and continue to practice the peaceful words of life. (Phil.4:7,TPT) “Then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ.”

Eating the Tree and Checking Character

Kathy — The 3rd question God asked Adam in the garden was if he’d eaten of the tree.  God wasn’t looking for information of course.  He was helping Adam realize the point of origin of this earthquake that tore up his self-image and damaged his self-worth, was when he defied the boundaries.  If anyone ever feels like God sets boundaries to demean or be unjust or cruel, they need some vitamin “G” as in “G”row up!  He sets boundaries wisely to set the stage for the truest expression of commitment, respect and honor in a lifetime.  It takes self-government to work within boundaries and that self-government develops maturity and character.  Character is a matter of righteous values and moral strength.  Character is essential to taste true fulfillment in your lifetime.  It will take character to keep you wherever purpose takes you.  I’ve known really gifted and skilled people who lost everything because they did not have the self-government and character to honor boundaries and protocol in relationships or career or finances or health.

Complete Fullness of Diety

(Col.2:9-10,TPT)

“For he is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. And our own completeness is now found in him. We are completely filled with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe!”

You and This Time in History

Melissa — Here’s what you need to know first and foremost: YOU are important, YOU have a piece that the rest of us need, YOU have a gift and skill combo no one else has, YOU will live and not die, YOU are created for His glory, and all of these things are His original intent for you at this time in history! Now that that is in the atmosphere, let’s talk about life in the season ahead.

Already Positioned for Kingdom Thinking

Kathy — Just by being born again, we’re already positioned for Kingdom thinking.  In John 3:5,  Jesus said being born of water and [of] the Spirit is the way to enter into the Kingdom of God. When you heard the call to be born again, was the emphasis on entering the Kingdom so you could participate in God’s will being done on earth as in heaven, or was the emphasis on escaping hell?  We are not on earth just to get saved, stay saved and go to heaven. Your salvation is much more awesome. It is empowerment for life!  You are on earth with a purpose.  You are part of what God is doing in the history of the world, history that has already been written, because God knows the end before the beginning, Isa. 46:10. We are here to demonstrate a higher government to a generation.  Isaiah 9:7 says there will be no end to the increase of His Government and Peace.  Therefore, there will be no end to the increase of signs and wonders as His government manifests in powerful contradiction over conditions of darkness.

Evil Not Hinder Kingdom

Jesus gave instructions on prayer that superceded the apocalyptists view which conceded the present age to evil. HIs instructions were to pray “deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom.” The emphasis Jesus gave His disciples says, “Thine IS the kingdom”-Matt.6:13. This phrase is not an afterthought, it is the central thought. The Kingdom does not and cannot ever belong to evil, nor can evil hinder the establishing of the Kingdom of God.

Fear-Driven Questions

Melissa — Last year was a year of getting the tools needed for the tool belt.  It was a year of starting to ask the wise, right questions instead of the fear-driven questions.  A fear-driven question already has an answer in mind and can’t hear anything but that.  A wise question is open to hear truth.  Asking those wise questions last year always got an answer.  A lot of answers were personal things that needed to be dealt with in me.  This even led me to go on a fear fast (that has not ended)!

Seeing Signs, Wonders and Miracles

Kathy Gabler — The words translated miracle or sign or wonder are, for the most part, interchangeable in the Bible. A working definition is: displays of the supernatural in this natural realm. That is encouraging in one way because that implies one reason we don’t see signs and wonders is because we don’t SEE them, even though they are on-going. How many of the 5000 plus that were eating on the hillside realized their lunch was a miracle? I’m thinking a good percentage didn’t have a clue! How many thousands of people saw the same star as the three kings, but didn’t know it was a sign and a wonder? When David saw Goliath, he wasn’t looking for a miracle! He was just looking for a rock! However, there were miracles (plural) in the mix that day, beyond the anointed impact of a rock from a sling. The whole scene was a miracle of timing, circumstance and possibly Goliath choosing the wrong helmet that day! Someone who is trained in CPR can easily fail to see the miracle of being in the right place at the right time to participate in the intervention of God in a situation. Isaiah 20:3, calls it a sign and wonder that Isaiah walked naked and barefoot for three years. I’m just not so sure his wife called that a sign and wonder!

We build definition boxes in our minds, then if supernatural interventions don’t fit in our box, we tend to miss it. I submit to you today that our thinking must change and is going to change. We cannot think as mere humans. We need Kingdom thinking as sons. Jesus said in John 14:12-13,“I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father! 13 For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him.
