Peter’s friends were weeping and praying for his release from prison but it is most doubtful that they were visualizing an angel walking in and slapping him on the hip and commanding him to rise up while his chains simply fell off. Which one of them actually pictured in their mind that an angel would simply usher Peter out of that prison like they were going for a Sunday stroll? How can we call this event anything but extraordinary? One of the amazing factors about Peter’s experience is that he was experiencing something that he had never even taught on! There was no popular teaching making the rounds at all the big conferences that taught about the existence of a special squad of jail-breaking angels. (Larry Burden) — Bitter roots are defined as sinful reactions to painful events. The events, themselves, do not cause the root. The reaction to the events is at the core of the bitter root. Bitter roots express themselves as condemning judgments of people or the refusal or inability to 
forgive those who have hurt us. They manifest as names or careless words that we have either thought about, called others, or said about the ones who have hurt us. They are powerful toxic pollutants that damage and defile our souls and others around us as well. In response to hurts, wounds, or painful events, we express condemning judgments. We may try to push down the hurts, rationalize them, blow them off, or sim- ply just pass them off as no big deal. But they are big deals! Over time these seeds of bitterness will build a root system and, if left unchecked, become the driving force of our personality, manifesting such things as: Cynicism, Apathy, Negativity and more. When Peter was in prison (Acts 12:7) he had been presented with a great opportunity to be introduced to the Book-of-Acts-norm. In reading that awesome book’s account of the early church, we cannot help but observe that God’s people had been ushered into a new era, an era in 
which they could fully expect to function in ways and means they had never seen the like of. There are things, events and supply in Heaven that Father wants to get into the earth. As the people of God assemble today, may they see that their Lord is high and lifted up and that He sits enthroned above every impossibility and obstacle that they are struggling against. Just as Isaiah saw that majestic representation of Jehovah as King in the midst of His people, may the people of God today look up by faith and reach up to His mercy and authority and receive help in time of need. “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. (Sam Brassfield) We have an emerging generation that has the right DNA, or what I call Divine Nature Anointing, waiting in the wings, but not for long. 
They are so properly wired for this next great spiritual awakening in the earth. From what I have experienced visiting the many local churches and attending places, these youth are involved in praise and worship. I have absolutely no doubt that they are the next Davidic generation arising in the earth. They are the twenty-first century spiritual type of Obed-Edom and family who will leave the farm so to speak, and move to Zion the city of David. Consider the nation of Israel when they were murmuring about the food situation in the wilderness in Exodus Chapter 16. That whole scenario was an opportunity for every person involved to stop, look and listen to what was transpiring and conclude that these were not just a series of events that were 
simply to be written down in a history book somewhere. When they woke up that first morning of the manna event they discovered something so extraordinary that they didn’t know what to call it. So, they ended up calling it “what is it?” (v.15). They, however, did not adjust to the new era and did not change their thinking and old habits. They continued trying to operate by old mindsets, did not heed the instructions of Moses and ended up with a smelly, undesirable mess (v.20). A new era cannot be new and cannot be the vehicle carrying us to new results if we intend operating in the mindsets of the old era. The never-before-experienced extraordinary of the new season turned to waste and to something that was untenable because the Israelites refused to operate by the tenets of the new (v.19). A new threshold serves little or no purpose if we have no intention of operating in the new with the respective new mindset. New eras are themselves announcements of new norms.

(Melissa Gabler) — Even though the sky is clearing there may be a storm or two that pops up as we head into the God ordained days ahead. No worries 
though, the storms have to “be still” and bow to the intention of God. In prayer the other night I heard this after it came out of my mouth, “Your Kingdom is over this nation and you are releasing another increment upon us.” What if we are that increment?! What if we are the stealth measures He is putting in place to release a deeper increment of His Kingdom on this earth? Me thinks we are! When a person or a nation received a breakthrough, when they began a new era, God was trying to tell them that they did not have to operate at the 
previous level. He was, through His Word and through their experiences, attempting to get across to them that they had come to a new norm. When we come to a new norm (or simply desire to) we would do well to realize that we must think differently and put effort into functioning differently. Even while in the middle of the wilderness, Israel was on the verge of a new era. Yet, there weren’t any people walking around or gathering groups under a tree to listen to them preach about the new era that was being ushered in and that they should have hope and that they should give themselves 
wholeheartedly to it and, most certainly, no one had even announced a Countdown to Canaan Conference. Even without the thing being announced in bright lights, the new season was moving in upon them just the same. One factor we must always be aware of that can spawn disillusionment is when the proclaimers of new eras leave us with the assumption that it is going to be a “magic carpet ride”. We will not be able to simply go on about “business as usual” but must look for ways to adjust to what is coming and adjust and make preparations for what we are hoping will be. As the people of God assemble today, may they settle for nothing less than the extraordinary of Heaven in their midst. May they not look to those 
things known only by religious sentiment. We are in an era of history when nothing less than the extraordinary of Heaven is required in the earth. We cannot and will not look for those things offered by mere religious sentiment that serve as nothing more than band-aids covering the unresolved issues and fruitless programs of western 
religion. We must lift up our heads from where we are and look to where there is transforming power and radical answers that change individuals and grip them with an insatiable vision for the Kingdom of Heaven in the earth. We must reach up and get hold of God’s extraordinary which is more than a span of revival meetings that gives us temporary relief from the mundane. The mundane must be invaded in such a way that we do not simply return to it after a brief respite and after things are trying to sink back into “business as usual”. (Jim Hodges) One of the main points in the parable of the wheat and tares is that the tares are not removed until they mature while mixed in with the wheat. Attempts to remove the tares from the wheat during growth will destroy the harvest. So, in history, wheat or sons of the Kingdom grow 
together simultaneously with the tares or sons of the evil one. They are occupying the same earth and they are at war because of two different agendas. That is the basic reason that becoming a son or daughter of God is signing up for conflict. Peace only comes by winning the conflict, not just tolerating the enemy. (Sam Brassfield) — David was under authority; therefore, he had authority. If we are not under authority, we have no authority. All authority outside 
of the Triune Godhead is delegated authority. David had been given authority by his earthly father Jesse to tend his father’s sheep. David used that authority to slay the enemies that came to devour his father’s flocks. He just used this same premise of authority in regards to his heavenly Father. David knew that when he faced the giant who was in defiance of his heavenly father, that he would be given the power of God to back up the authority he had been given to protect God’s flock called Israel. Truth and relationship with the Lord is about your meditations, thoughts, words, prayers. Are your thoughts and prayers abounding from His truth or the latest from Fox, CNN, Facebook, or Twitter? A safe and healthy place from which to operate your day is praying in tongues throughout. It’s the perfect prayer not swayed by national or family events. It’s the perfect prayer not swayed by the soul. In fact, don’t limit it to that. You may think you’re praying about what is concerning at the moment, but the Spirit prays what needs to be prayed at the moment whether it be for that particular situation or something completely different. Thank God that type of prayer cannot be touched by soulish fears and desires. That is exactly why it is perfect! God knew what He was doing when He gave us such a gift. Yes, I’d say it’s for today. My thought, the soul might say otherwise because it can’t control it. Ok, I’ll just leave that right there and wrap this up. It’s time to call on Him. It’s time to see great and mighty things. As the people of God assemble today, may they notice the hands that are hanging down and the knees that are trembling. His Kingdom has already been in effect, now is in effect and will be in effect always. That contradicts that silent someday that would keep the Kingdom of God out of reach during our lifetime, or keep “righteousness and peace and joy” in His presence only a future, 
someday realization (Rom 14:17). How messed up is it to think that righteousness, peace and joy are unreachable until you die? That thinking would make “Thy Kingdom come” a death request. Could we get any more perversely opposite to the heart of God than that? Could we deny His New Covenant provision any louder than that? If we think that His Kingdom (meaning His rule and His order) cannot come into earth now when we pray, is it any wonder that manifestations of His power show up piecemeal rather than bulk, or sporadically rather than continually? Poor God. When His stewards on earth think like that, they only accidentally stumble into agreement that opens the earth to God’s will in the now.

It’s going to take loving the Truth (which is a Person—THE Person) to see great and mighty things for which an earth is groaning (Romans 8:17-19). It’s 
going to take some calling on that Person which requires relationship, not curbside pickup. And relationship takes time, time out of your day. As the Word of God says, “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken”. For 2,000 years the prayers of the saints have been going up to the throne of God in obedience to the instruction of our Lord when He required His disciples to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” God Almighty has not been deaf upon 
His throne. Just like rats scurrying to get out of a collapsing building, the powers and principalities in second heaven are feeling the pressure of Third Heaven coming into the earth (Mt.6:10). They are scurrying about the earth and our nation affecting everything and everyone that will allow it and they are attempting, through willing dupes, to dismantle everything they can. Throughout history, when a retreating army leaves an area, they burn and dismantle everything they can so that their enemy cannot use it to their advantage. We should not, at all, be surprised at the attempts to dismantle the Word of God and the institutions that uphold it and our constitution. Let’s not limit calling on God for great and mighty answers to things we need only. If He says I’ll “show you great and mighty things” why in the world 
would we not call on Him on a daily basis to see what awesomeness He has in store for the here and now? The requirement for asking such things daily is to be in a dominion/heaven-on-earth state rather than a victimized one. A victimized state of mind keeps us stuck on “me, my, me”. The way out of victimhood is in truth because it has a tendency to set you free IF you know it by meditating on and living it (John 8:32). This is one of the main issues we face today because we have too much information, whether it be truth or a lie, at our fingertips every moment of every day. (Simon Purvis) — All the basic desires on the deep inside are put there by God, but we were created for all these subconscious desires to be under the government of God. What makes these desires evil is that we put them under the charge of self to be fulfilled. Subconscious self-rule can run our lives 
even if we are saying otherwise. Desires from God can become evil if left to self to fulfill. God never intended our character and holiness to be from our conscious decisions. He intended something to be built down on the inside of us, our inner being, our subconscious, that we would live out of because it is who we are. It is not trying to be anything, rather, “I just am.” Under the government of God, we don’t have to try to be happy, we just are. God did not intend for us to strive through life to make choices to be happy or patient or kind. All of this was meant to flow out of the subconscious without a thought from the conscious. Peter’s friends were weeping and praying for his release from prison but it is most doubtful that they were visualizing an angel walking in and slapping him on the hip and commanding him to rise up while his chains simply fell off. Which one of them actually pictured in their mind that an angel would simply usher Peter out of that prison like they were going for a Sunday stroll? How can we call this event anything but extraordinary? One of the amazing factors about Peter’s experience is that he was experiencing something that he had never even taught on! There was no popular teaching making the rounds at all the big conferences that taught about the existence of a special squad of jail-breaking angels. As the people of God assemble today, may they see that their Lord is high and lifted up and that He sits enthroned above every impossibility and obstacle that they are struggling against. They are so properly wired for this next great spiritual awakening in the earth. From what I have experienced visiting the many local churches and attending places, these youth are involved in praise and worship. I have absolutely no doubt that they are the next Davidic generation arising in the earth. They are the twenty-first century spiritual type of Obed-Edom and family who will leave the farm so to speak, and move to Zion the city of David. simply to be written down in a history book somewhere. When they woke up that first morning of the manna event they discovered something so extraordinary that they didn’t know what to call it. So, they ended up calling it “what is it?” (v.15). They, however, did not adjust to the new era and did not change their thinking and old habits. They continued trying to operate by old mindsets, did not heed the instructions of Moses and ended up with a smelly, undesirable mess (v.20). A new era cannot be new and cannot be the vehicle carrying us to new results if we intend operating in the mindsets of the old era. The never-before-experienced extraordinary of the new season turned to waste and to something that was untenable because the Israelites refused to operate by the tenets of the new (v.19). A new threshold serves little or no purpose if we have no intention of operating in the new with the respective new mindset. New eras are themselves announcements of new norms.

of the Triune Godhead is delegated authority. David had been given authority by his earthly father Jesse to tend his father’s sheep. David used that authority to slay the enemies that came to devour his father’s flocks. He just used this same premise of authority in regards to his heavenly Father. Truth and relationship with the Lord is about your meditations, thoughts, words, prayers. Are your thoughts and prayers abounding from His truth or the latest from Fox, CNN, Facebook, or Twitter? A safe and healthy place from which to operate your day is praying in tongues throughout. It’s the perfect prayer not swayed by national or family events. It’s the perfect prayer not swayed by the soul. In fact, don’t limit it to that. You may think you’re praying about what is concerning at the moment, but the Spirit prays what needs to be prayed at the moment whether it be for that particular situation or something completely different. Thank God that type of prayer cannot be touched by soulish fears and desires. That is exactly why it is perfect! God knew what He was doing when He gave us such a gift. Yes, I’d say it’s for today. Could we get any more perversely opposite to the heart of God than that? Could we deny His New Covenant provision any louder than that? If we think that His Kingdom (meaning His rule and His order) cannot come into earth now when we pray, is it any wonder that manifestations of His power show up piecemeal rather than bulk, or sporadically rather than continually? Poor God. When His stewards on earth think like that, they only accidentally stumble into agreement that opens the earth to God’s will in the now.

His throne. Just like rats scurrying to get out of a collapsing building, the powers and principalities in second heaven are feeling the pressure of Third Heaven coming into the earth (Mt.6:10). They are scurrying about the earth and our nation affecting everything and everyone that will allow it and they are attempting, through willing dupes, to dismantle everything they can. Throughout history, when a retreating army leaves an area, they burn and dismantle everything they can so that their enemy cannot use it to their advantage.
