It is Unstable and Sabotages

Kathy—The battle principle of divide-and-conquer works within us when our heart-thinking is divided against us. It makes us double-minded and unstable and sabotages our dedication and courage. Moreover, when we are divided and unstable, so is the dominion that God gave us. That means devils can easily interfere and harass successfully because there is no dominion action to block and bind them and legislate circumstances.  Whether declaration or proclamation or decree or acts of agreement or prophetic worship or unique obedience, dominion action is aligning with God’s desire and order and government.  God-given dominion is never about trying to rule the world like a delusional dictator.  It is simply a son or daughter of God participating in Father’s will being done in earth as it is in heaven. Spiritual wars are won through such participation.

Delegated Authority With Keys

Kathy—It is Jesus that delegates His authority with the keys, not for us to become superman, but to become super-sons of God that don’t misuse the authority that He entrusts to us. When we discern things are not God’s will or there is obvious evil or conflict or contradiction in our face, we don’t take dominion because we are trying to rule the world (like some delusional dictator from the Dark Side).  We take dominion because Jesus is LORD and we are His Ekklesia, His called out ones entrusted to operate in His Name in the earth.

Not Limit God

Melissa — Let’s not limit calling on God for great and mighty answers to things we need only. If He says I’ll “show you great and mighty things” why in the world would we not call on Him on a daily basis to see what awesomeness He has in store for the here and now? The requirement for asking such things daily is to be in a dominion/heaven-on-earth state rather than a victimized one. A victimized state of mind keeps us stuck on “me, my, me”. The way out of victimhood is in truth because it has a tendency to set you free IF you know it by meditating on and living it (John 8:32). This is one of the main issues we face today because we have too much information, whether it be truth or a lie, at our fingertips every moment of every day. Easy access has become the demoralizer of an entitled culture. Yes, this applies to Christians as well.

And I Will Answer You

Melissa — Let’s look at “Call to me and I will answer you” through a modern American paradigm: I call on the Lord and He will answer – I will tell Him what I need and He will give it to me because He is a loving God. You know, kind of like curbside grocery delivery. I took the time to get my list together and I took the time to call about this list. Now, it’s on Him to deliver!  I’m afraid we North Americans operate out of an entitled mindset not only in our relationship with earthlings, but also in our relationship with God. If I call on Him then ________ (insert pre-determined answer here). The problem with an entitled relationship with God is where the entitlement is rooted. If it is rooted in the Spirit, according to the covenant, then it will put you in a posture of dominion. If, however, it is rooted in the soul then it will hold you in a victimized defensive posture. The soul will keep you chained out of reach of God’s original intent which is indeed dominion. Or said another way, the soul will keep you from being heaven on earth.

Seeing His Kingdom Come

PackingSuitcase.jpegKathy — No matter what has been religiously emphasized thus far, we are NOT here just to spend a lifetime packing our bags for heaven singing, “This world is not my home” and threatening to rapture out on bumper stickers! This world IS our home while we’re here and God told us to take dominion and see His Kingdom come and see that His will is done. If we live a lifetime doing just that, we’ll have fulfillment in life and a legacy for the future.

Five Fold Leadership

Larry Burden — The Book of Acts is one of my favorite books of the Bible. Not only does it document the history of the early church, but it also reveals the Father’s intent for the influence of His church in the earth. It is a training manual for the body of believers to demonstrate how we are to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to govern the earth as representatives of Jesus. Christ established the foundation of leadership in the early church as a model for us to follow today. He set in the five-Five fold.pngfold leadership team to provide a full expression of Himself through the ascension gifts described in Ephesians 4:11-12. Such leadership is essential today for maturing the body of Christ so that, as His followers, we might become enabled to assume our specific functions of command as His church. The command structure given to us as Christ’s followers (His church) is clearly demonstrated throughout the New Testament. Jesus first models it to the twelve, then the seventy, and ultimately to the one hundred and twenty on the Day of Pentecost. The purpose of the command structure is to facilitate the original Dominion Mandate of Genesis 1:28. As Commander-in-Chief, Jesus simply follows what the Father is commanding (John 12:49). As His commanders in the earth, we follow the same precedent by hearing what Jesus is saying to us through the voice of the Holy Spirit. We exercise His full authority by remaining under His authority. (Larry Burden will be speaking at Kingdom Congress March 6, 2020 at 11:00am.)

Don’t Live a Watered-Down Version

(Kathy Gabler)—That “BID me COME” is in the heart of all of us.  It is deep calling unto deep and JESUS is saying to us too, “COME ON!”  There is no need for us to live a watered-down version of what God had in mind for our lifetime.  We don’t have to leave a wimpy, skimpy heritage.  Fear may hold us in the boat and tempt us to refuse the dominion mandate, but there is a stronger force at work in us.  There is a heart’s cry, “Lord, BID me COME.”  We may consider just stepping back from sonship and dominion because we have not seen it or lived it vividly yet, but dominion is not about being an experienced son, it is about being an obedient son.  There will be times in all of us that the cry of “BID me COME” stirs in our breast and we have a choice to respond to the Lord’s, “Come on.”  (KATHY GABLER is speaking at Kingdom Congress 2019. Trampling of the Enemy

We can expect and decree a major restraining of violence, crime and other problems within our cities. Jesus had dominion over spirits, all manner of diseases and even over the elements of nature and weather. But we must also realize that strife and contention within churches and among the citywide church will not accommodate the Spirit in power which brings extraordinary results—the trampling of the enemy. Jezebel, Absalom and Korah must go. Even the days of false brethren are numbered. (Gal.2:4)(Fourth excerpt from Marty’s article “The New Era and the Church Trampling”)

The New Era and the Church Trampling

Jahweh is raising up His church in this new era. He is raising up His church to transform nations over night. We are getting past religious ineffectiveness and a defeated sense of eschatology and coming to Zion, to the place of the throne of God which is a place of power and dominion. Perhaps we should rehearse John’s exhortation to us that “…as He [JESUS] is, so are we in this world.” (1Jn.4:17) It would then follow that our Lord JESUS IS sitting on the right hand of the throne of Almighty God in the heavenly places (1:20) and that we, like Him, are also sitting with Him [authoritatively positioned] in heavenly places in Christ (2:6). Therefore, there should be authority, power and dominion displayed such as it was when JESUS was on the earth, especially since it is the determined will of God to now show His multi-layered, redemptive wisdom to powers and principalities through the church (Eph.3:10). Is it Really God’s Fault?

(Gen 1:28a) “And God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule…”   Considering the definitions of God’s original (and unchanged) intention (“subdue” and “rule”), it would appear that we have a mission laid out before us with authority to get it done. Scripture offers the understanding that the Last Adam has won back all that the first Adam forfeited. It would appear that God actually is not responsible for evil happenings since He handed over the earth to Adam to “subjugate,” “prevail against,” “reign,” “tread down” and “keep under”.  (Marty is speaking this weekend at the DREAMS VISIONS PROPHECY CONFERENCE at Cornerstone Brenham,TX. The Future Doesn’t Just Happen

The future doesn’t happen, it is built by preparation in the now. Some are trying to secure economics, secure real estate and secure borders for the future but we must secure a generation. The future will not be secured by videos and pizzas. While many are crying out that the church is only one generation away from extinction, I would cry out that the church is only one generation away from dominion in the earth. (Jesus said that He would build the Church and that what He built would not see the gates or authorities of hell prevail against it. The Church is not at the point of extinction if that is true.) If we have no faith that we are going to be able to draw out anything from our bank account, it is because we know that we have not put anything into it. If we have no faith in the coming generation it is because we have either neglected to impart to them or we have not had anything to impart to them. We’d best get ahold of something worth imparting. Failure to impart to a generation results in loss that can only be calculated on an exponential scale. We don’t want them to have to dig themselves out of a hole before they can go forward. Reach for What’s in Reach

We are being equipped so that the Kingdom of our God can advance in us and through us. It’s going to involve taking dominion and bringing God’s order into all the mountains of culture and into individual lives and into circumstances and into history.   Not every act of dominion is going to be as quick as stopping the wind and waves because changing the powers-that-be may take a while in some cases, but let’s do this.  Let’s be sons that reach for what’s in reach. Let’s be the sons that bring the order that creation is groaning for.  It starts with crying out, “Bid me Come, Lord.” (Kathy)

He is Mighty to Save

May we lift up our heads from the struggle of battle and
behold Him who has already overcome, and trust ourselves
completely to Him Who is mighty to save.

“WHO IS this Who comes from Edom, with crimson-stained garments from Bozrah [in Edom]? This One Who is glorious
in His apparel, striding triumphantly in the greatness of His might? It is I, [the One] Who speaks in righteousness [proclaiming

Distracted by Pain

BackHurtOur mandate is to rebuild this temple to house His presence and His purpose. What distracts us from our mandate? One of the things at the top of the list is pain. Pain has a way of capturing our attention. Pain has a way of becoming a priority, but even pain must bow to God’s authority and power and purpose. Marty hurt his back a few years ago. He laid on the bed begging and pleading for healing and relief. Between groans, he decided to call and cancel the service scheduled for the next day, but the Holy Spirit said, “You are not dealing with this like a son.” “How do I do that, Lord?” he asked aloud. The answer came just as loud. “Declare your position and purpose.”

Aloud he began to declare, “God has purpose for me in Lockhart, Texas. I will go and do what I was born to do.” Not even remembering how he got off the bed, he found himself packing. He was still in pain, but able to move again. He took ground inch by inch, moment by moment that day. By the time he stood in the pulpit and preached, the pain had completely left him.

He could have thought like Judah, “I will pursue the purposes of God someday, just not now.” I have to recover first! But as he adjusted his priorities in his thinking, the process of healing began as he headed toward purpose.

The Focus of Desperation

I laughed at myself as I recalled frantically calling out to the Lord a while back. I was frantic to find a title to a vehicle we were selling. Marty and I had both searched our desks and files, but neither of us could find the title. Rifling through my files one CameraFocusmore time, I suddenly heard myself praying, “Lord, help us. No, seriously, really make something happen this time!” Well, that was certainly no exemplary prayer of faith and power to confess publicly, but it was a powerful prayer in that it turned a light on for me.

As the light came on, I could plainly see the unverbalized script going on behind the scenes. As soon as I had muttered, “Help, Lord,” I thought of praying those same words hundreds of times concerning another situation in my life. The remembrance came to mock me for there was no help showing up after years, no sign of change, no movement whatsoever in my circumstances after those hundreds of prayers. The reminder was not only a damper on expectation for any present help, it was an in-my-face threat that God would not show up with resolve of this title situation.

The voice of desperation does not equal prayer mainly because desperation most often focuses on the problem which is the opposite of a faith focus on the One who has the answer. I suddenly realized I had been whining (hundreds of times), but I had considered it prayer. I repented. The awesome thing about repentance is that it brings change that brings change. Suddenly, in a Holy-Spirit-photo-memory-moment, Marty saw the title and it was right where we had put it, in a forgotten safe place. Hey, that’ll preach, the answer is SAFE until we can see it.

I laughed again. I love the smell of victory, especially even before the smoke of battle clears!  (Kathy Gabler)

A Willing Spirit

LookingUpHandsRaised

It is hard to see eternal purpose through the grit and grime of experience.  So, our spirits have to be renewed, and that starts with cleaning life’s grime off the windows.  That’s why David prayed in Psalm 51,  “Create in me a clean heart, [send your window-cleaning presence!] O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”  A steadfast spirit is a spirit that circumstances cannot bully, that emotions cannot control and that experiences cannot defeat.  (v.11) “Don’t cast me away from your presence and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit.” (NAU) A willing spirit is a spirit that is willing to try again, that is willing to believe again and that is willing to hope again.

One Greater Than the Temple

Temple_Jerusalem
Jesus did not seem at all concerned about offending people who didn’t believe the way He believed. In Matt.12 He and His disciples walk through a corn field on the Sabbath and the disciples picked and ate corn. When approached by the Pharisees and rebuked for it, Jesus defended the disciples. He then walks into the synagogue and heals a man’s withered hand on the same Sabbath. He has now stacked up two major offenses. The Pharisees immediately called for a little confab to plan to destroy Him using the healing as their condemning accusation. Instead of apologizing and going great lengths to attempt to prevent offense, He rather reminded them in verse six that they were the ones offending by not acknowledging He is greater than the Temple and its system they claimed was being violated. “One greater than the Temple is here.”

Wise and Harmless Dreamers

TwoPeopleTalkingDreamers and visionaries can learn to be wise and harmless.  We can ask for wisdom so that we do not mistake insight for a license.  Also, we can remember to consider our dreams as OUR telegrams with a purpose for ME!  If you are convinced a dream is for someone else, at least get godly counsel or agreement before sharing it.

The spoken word is powerful.  Therefore the spoken dream can become a living, driving force – positive or negative.  Lord, help us to remember the tongue has the power of life and death and reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing, (Proverbs 12:18)

Remain Solidly Committed

Dreams and Conversion

TentDesert
In one African Muslim country, a young man violently tore up a Bible tract and threatened the life of The Every Home for Christ worker going door-to-door with the literature.  The next afternoon as the worker sat in his home, he was shocked to see the man knock at this door saying, “I must have another booklet.”  The Muslim explained that the previous night two hands awakened him, and when he turned on a light and asked who was there, a voice said, “You have torn up the truth.”  The voice instructed him to acquire another booklet, directing him to the worker’s home.  There the Muslim read the booklet and became a believer and is now preparing for ministry.  An Assemblies of God missionary said, “It all takes place in context, dreams are one step, a link in the chain that leads to conversion.”

Not Lost

HoldingCompass

While interviewing the great frontiersman, Daniel Boone, a reporter asked him, “Mr. Boone, have you ever been lost?” To which he replied, “Well, I was once bewildered for four days but I’ve never been lost.” At first, that sounds quite humorous but, in fact, it is a statement of some certainty. For an experienced explorer like Boone, it would be next to impossible for him to actually be lost in the truest since because he was a man of resource, initiative and skill. It didn’t matter in what area of wilderness or frontier he found himself, he still had the confidence of his skills and wilderness survival knowledge. It didn’t matter if it was winter, summer, spring or fall. It made no difference if he was in mountains, prairies or swamps, his knowledge, experience and skills served to keep him alive and on a correct heading. North was still north and south was still south and that will never change. He knew what to do in any season or location and, in spite of bears and weather hazards he had to deal with on numerous occasions, he lived to tell the story time and again.
