KATHY GABLER—More and more of the Ekklesia are literally getting positioned and taking ground on the Mountains [spheres of cultural influence] of Science/Technology and Family and Finance and Arts/Media. This Awakening is exposing the undermining Goliaths, those demonic, giant systems in these mountains that are attempting to redefine every absolute and every boundary God gave man concerning health, laws, relationships and even in gender! (Take heart, Awakening will shatter the stupor and spirit of absurdity!) I pray the Lord anoint us like David to behead the subterranean Goliaths as they fall, so that they never rise again! This Awakening is no small thing because “The whole earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, and the world and all who dwell in it.”—Psa 24:1. We are His Church, His Called out ones, alive for such a time as this. We have keys to take part in this historical, ever-increasing display of His Kingdom. And there is no need to be thinking this is all too big and too complicated for “little ol’ me”. On the contrary, the truth is that it is beautifully simple. Jesus put it this way in Matt 11:29, (MSG), “Walk with me and work with me and watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.” It’s time to trust Him and walk into a Chapter of Awesome.

KATHY GABLER—Worked Out Through Process — If we prepare for purpose by yielding to His “reasoning together,” there is manifestation and fulfillment. Purpose has too many facets to fit in a single jump anyway. Some of its many facets are seasons, expressions, maturing and relationship with people, places and things. A prophetic word to a nine year old that they will be a missionary cannot be limited to their nine-year-old understanding and definitions, nor to their parent’s traditional, experiential definition, nor to their beliefs and misbeliefs up to that moment. Their call might not be on the church mountain but a mission to the business, government, education or medical mountain. Like working out our salvation, purpose is worked out through a process of opportunity by opportunity, obedience by obedience, insight by insight and year by year.

Kathy Gabler–It should be a point of relief when we realize that our passions and energy can be godly without being religious. If you are called to the market place, your passion and energy thrives there. If you are called to nurture, your zeal and passion might be parenting or teaching. If you have a gift of hospitality, your call could range from the hotel industry to decorating and design. The point is that we bear the presence and purpose of God into every arena of life. We bring glory to God by doing what we were created to do. Jesus said that in John 17:4, “I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.” (NAU)

We are being equipped so that the Kingdom of our God can advance in us and through us. It’s going to involve taking dominion and bringing God’s order into all the mountains of culture and into individual lives and into circumstances and into history. Not every act of dominion is going to be as quick as stopping the wind and waves because changing the powers-that-be may take a while in some cases, but let’s do this. Let’s be sons that reach for what’s in reach. Let’s be the sons that bring the order that creation is groaning for. It starts with crying out, “Bid me Come, Lord.” (From Kathy’s article “Bid Me Come”)

It doesn’t take much awareness to notice all around us there is great need and a lot of 
hurting people. If our God is anything, He is Redeemer. His people will, therefore, bear His characteristics and likeness and they shall redemptively impact their environment and the people in it. May the people of God be like yeast growing in the dough and permeating arts and entertainment, business, education, family, government, media and religion. May we influence the present culture with the love, compassion, authority and wisdom of the rule of God.
