The Swarm of Circumstance
KATHY GABLER—The last sentence in Joel 2:25 says, My great army which I sent among you. That tells us that God sent the army of locusts, the swarm of circumstance. Did He send them to ultimately rob, kill and destroy His people? No. Interestingly, through those times that it feels like we are helpless and chaos is king, our Redeemer is watching and working behind the scenes and at every intersection. Even during a siege there is a redemptive factor at work and, whether we realize it or not, the conflict is working something out of us and into us. Overcoming a locust season is an opportunity for sons to build muscle and maturity. Coming out with both is a redeeming result of difficulty. Outliving a siege positions us for redemption of our purpose. Matured and muscled, we are then equipped to embrace every opportunity restored, every resource restored, every potential restored, every strength restored, every harvest restored, every energy restored and the years lost in the difficult, building process.

Calling on God for Great and Mighty Things
MELISSA GABLER—Let’s not limit calling on God for great and mighty answers to things we need only. If He says I’ll “show you great and mighty things” why in the world would we not call on Him on a daily basis to see what awesomeness He has in store for the here and now? The requirement for asking such things daily is to be in a dominion/heaven-on-earth state rather than a victimized one. A victimized state of mind keeps us stuck on “me, my, me”. The way out of victimhood is in truth because it has a tendency to set you free IF you know it by meditating on and living it (John 8:32). This is one of the main issues we face today because we have too much information, whether it be truth or a lie, at our fingertips every moment of every day. Easy access has become the demoralizer of an entitled culture. Yes, this applies to Christians as well.

My Redeemer
KATHY GABLER—A redeemer is one who delivers, avenges or ransoms as needed, one who buys back what was lost. Think about all that can be lost to us, like lost opportunities, lost resources, lost potential, lost strength, lost harvest and lost energy (to list a few). Our Redeemer can even buy back time, He said so in Joel 2:25, “And I will restore to you the years (I will make up to you for the years) the swarming locust has eaten, the locust larvae, and the stripping locust, and the cutting locust. . .” This scripture does not only say He can restore the years, it says He will. He will make up for those times that no matter how many bugs you killed, they kept coming. He will restore those years it took to fight and endure the swarming circumstances. He will make up for the time it took for circumstances to consistently strip away your strength and hope. He will make up for all those mornings when the sunrise woke up the dread in your soul again and circumstances continued to devour your day and your future. He will make up for the months and years that opposition smothered you and circumstances robbed you through changelessness. He is, indeed, your Redeemer!

Effectively Getting Through
MARTY GABLER—May the Lord enable us to effectively get through to people. A Strategic Dream
KATHY GABLER— A friend called with a strategic dream that was an answer to her prayer. She has been in a on-going trial at work and is weary of the situation. She asked God if she could leave the situation. In her dream she was a nurse in an emergency room and she was tending to three patients. A doctor walked in and she was relieved to see him because she knew he was a trustworthy doctor. He told her to go get something and she was walking quickly down a long hall. A door opened in the hall and a lady walked out. In the dream she realized it was angel. The angel beckoned her to come with her. But she knew the care for the three patients must be finished first, so she asked the angel if she could check with her tomorrow. The angel answered yes and walked back through a door which disappeared as it closed.
The trustworthy doctor was the Great Physician coming on the scene to intervene. That is why she knew Him and was so glad to see Him. Often, as in this case, a hall represents transition or moving from one place to another, one opportunity to another. She was encouraged to realize that He had given her instructions to enter a transition time, and allowed her to glimpse a new door, an opportunity divinely provided. Her sense of integrity kept her there to finish with the three patients. The three patients symbolized the three years of trial of her “patience” with her co-worker. She actually passed a test of character when she chose not to go through the door and to stay until finished because “three” also is significant of completing a divine process and purpose. And as the angel said, there will be another divine opportunity when the time is right.

The Name of Jesus is Very Powerful
MARTY GABLER—In the next few days and weeks I believe you will find the name of Jesus to be very powerful in your life and your environment — if you will call upon His name, “Jesus”, see Him heal, watch as He delivers others out of impossible strongholds of bondage and fear. Say His name and see how marvelously He delivers you from the threat of harm, even from bullies. The children’s ministers at our church have taught them to declare, “The name of Jesus is my super power”. In Acts 3:16 (Amp) Peter declared: ”And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man…” May you discover more of the power of the name of Jesus this week.

Gates and Safety
Gates And Safety (by Kathy Gabler). Sometimes a gate God builds is not a welcomed sight. It looks like a risk to us or a scary unknown. We feel like we have the option to decide to just stay safely within our fence and familiar boundaries. The problem is that if we ignore the gates, we are locking ourselves into tradition just like the Pharisees. We rarely see ourselves as Pharisees, but we too build personal traditions of men through the way we personally process instruction or the way we establish our own priorities or the way we come to our personal conclusions. Our thought processes and priorities and conclusions are filters that can literally keep us from hearing what God is saying and thereby keep us refusing to acknowledge the Holy Spirit’s direction in our daily life. Has Come to Steal and Kill
MARTY GABLER—That depreciating disparager is a thief and has come “only to steal and kill and destroy (Jn.10:10).” His goal is to steal away a word, a hope, a dream or a vision that God has given. He would love for you to think it has been canceled or, at the very least, that you will have to settle for something less. You end up bedraggled, talking like, “It’s not going to be what I originally expected it would be but ‘many are the trials of the righteous’ and I’m just glad to know the Lord.” The detractor spirit finds many an ear willing to listen, willing to believe and willing to act on the altered information.
The thief will get us preoccupied with other people’s views of our relationship with God or their opinion of the likelihood of God’s promise coming to pass in us. He wants us totally dismayed with the time period between promise and fulfillment. Such a spirit readily points out failed relationships and failed attempts “to be a part of” so it appears that there is now a “blemish” on our calling. His memory works overtime reminding us of failed or unheeded opportunities. Hence, the implication of our being unworthy or unreliable as participants in any divine purpose.
If the detractor cannot knock you completely out of the race, he wants the wind and confidence knocked out of you so that your performance is hindered. It would be somewhat like a high performance racecar driver pulling in for a pit stop and saying, “Don’t put much gas in the tank and don’t put on any new tires because I don’t deserve it the way I’ve been driving.” Cf.”For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through Him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ (2Co.1:20).” Never stop saying “Amen” to what God has said.

Who/What Are You Bowing Your Knee to?
MELISSA GABLER—The Holy Spirit presented this to me awhile back, “Either you are bowing your knee in awe and reverence to Me or you are bowing your knee in tolerance and submission to everything else.” How can we see miracles when we are bowing our knee to the impossibilities mounted against us? How can we leave a winning legacy when we count ourselves among the doomed statistics of disease and age and depletion and debt? It’s really starting to make sense why we have only seen glimpses of effectualness. So many have been under the control of the enemy who planted subtle deposits of fear for years through platforms to which we’ve given our trust and they didn’t work. But now it’s our time. We get to be alive for this! We get to be alive for the awakening and to bring the Kingdom to earth in ways we’ve never seen before.

He Redeems to Bring a Person Back to Their Path
MARTY GABLER—The “THY” of “Thy Kingdom” redeems a person, redeems a thing to bring them back to their path to God’s original intent (Kathy G.). Creation is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of God who will be manifest in the character of the “THY” of “Thy Kingdom” so that it can get back to its intended order. His character observed in His sons identifies them as His sons to people, to powers and to principalities. May we be so full of the character of this awesome “THY” that no demon ever need ask, “Jesus I know and Paul I know, but who are you?” (Acts 19:15; also Eph.3:10).

Breaking Down the Prophetic Lifestyle
MELISSA GABLER— Let’s break it down. The Prophetic lifestyle (spiritually minded) is based on realizing there is more going on than meets the eye. There is an unseen realm always present and in action in the midst of the seen realm. “For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense.” (Romans 1:20, AMP)
Human nature/soul (carnally minded) is largely based on the seen realm without much thought or regard for the unseen. “Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever]; 7 the mind of the flesh [with its sinful pursuits] is actively hostile to God. It does not submit itself to God’s law, since it cannot,” (Romans 8:6-7). The word ‘carnal’ in vs. 6 – sarx (Greek) – literally means “human nature”. To be “human nature” minded is deadly? How so? Because human nature wants to be in charge — reasonable, logical and do it ourselves.
Human nature is carnally minded and operates in the seen realm which is based on man’s power, wisdom and experience. The Prophetic Lifestyle is spiritually minded and operates in the unseen and seen realm based on the wisdom and power of God for every situation. “If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5, AMP)

Heal My Inner Self
KATHY GABLER—David prayed in Psalm 41:4, “Heal my inner self.” (Amp) We all have wounds in our lives that we cannot fit into a pretty picture: experiences that seem to deny God’s goodness, injustices that oppose His plans, conditions that contradict faith, circumstances that seem to defy God’s presence and relationships that resist His love. Jesus told us offenses would come, Matthew 18:7; and the truth is that we have all suffered the wounds of offense, injustice and loss. But the greater issue is that our experiences can either Equip us or Cripple us. It is the will of our Father that we be healed and equipped.

Mountains of Difficulty and Impossibility
MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today may they hold one another up in prayer and share with one another by exhortation that the mountains of difficulty and impossibility that stand in their way are nothing in the sight of their loving Father and He is a mountain mover. Matt.17:20,TPT—“He told them, “It was because of your lack of faith. I promise you, if you have faith inside of you no bigger than the size of a small mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move away from here and go over there,’ and you will see it move! There is nothing you couldn’t do!”

In His Hand
MARTY GABLER—I received such a beautiful gift tonight. (For some who may not know, my wife Kathy was promoted into the arms of her Jesus Dec.8,2025.) I was thanking Jesus that Kathy is in His hand and that He has her and that I was so, so grateful to Him that He has her. Then the most beautiful, gentle and loving voice filled my being and said, “I have never not had her.” Oh, what precious, comforting words. Then I saw a brief vision of Kathy resting in a great, gentle and powerful hand. She was all new and healed and at such, indescribable peace. Oh, how beautifully and wonderfully that ministered to me and brought me peace that passes understanding. Then as I deeply wept and worshipped and thanked Holy Spirit for that beautiful ministry to me, He gave me this awesome verse from John 10:28-30, ESV—28I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30I and the Father are one.” As you read what I have shared, I am praying that you are receiving peace that passes understanding. Know that not only is your precious loved one in the hand of Jesus but you are as well… in this very moment. Jesus, I trust You.

Where Accusation Comes From
MELISSA GABLER— This is where the power of accusation comes from: Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 11:9 “An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbor” Prov. 15:4 (MSG) “Kind words heal and help; cutting words wound and maim.” It is the epitome of “using your powers for good and not evil”. There is power in our words because God intended it that way so we can make a difference when we speak. The problem is that we tend to forget that it goes both ways.

Getting Into Position to Take Ground
KATHY GABLER—More and more of the Ekklesia are literally getting positioned and taking ground on the Mountains [spheres of cultural influence] of Science/Technology and Family and Finance and Arts/Media. This Awakening is exposing the undermining Goliaths, those demonic, giant systems in these mountains that are attempting to redefine every absolute and every boundary God gave man concerning health, laws, relationships and even in gender! (Take heart, Awakening will shatter the stupor and spirit of absurdity!) I pray the Lord anoint us like David to behead the subterranean Goliaths as they fall, so that they never rise again! This Awakening is no small thing because “The whole earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, and the world and all who dwell in it.”—Psa 24:1. We are His Church, His Called out ones, alive for such a time as this. We have keys to take part in this historical, ever-increasing display of His Kingdom. And there is no need to be thinking this is all too big and too complicated for “little ol’ me”. On the contrary, the truth is that it is beautifully simple. Jesus put it this way in Matt 11:29, (MSG), “Walk with me and work with me and watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.” It’s time to trust Him and walk into a Chapter of Awesome.

How to Limit God
MARTIN GABLER—How to limit the unlimited God. “…they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.” (Ps78:41) M.Henry says they limited Him to their way and their time. One can’t limit God in His wider purpose but one can limit His moving in their life. “Limited” means they circumscribed Him with bounds, virtually saying that there are some things which He cannot do; up to a certain point He has power, but after that He has not. (J-F-B) Yet, we continually long to see and experience what is beyond normal. Giving the limitless God full reign in one’s life may call for cooperating with measures and methods we have not thought normal.

What Does a “New Era” Mean?
MELISSA GABLER — It really is an exciting time even though it may not look like it because we have entered a new era. Let’s look a little closer at what this means. Merriam Webster defines “era” as: “a memorable or important date or event, especially one that begins a new period in the history of a person or thing, a stage in development.” When I read this definition, that last part jumped off the screen, “a stage in development”. So, I looked up “development“: “1. An unfolding; the discovering of something secret or withheld from the knowledge of others; 2. The unraveling of a plot.” Oh my! We have been in the midst of an “unraveling plot” our entire lives! I am basing the time span of the past era on the life of Dr. Billy Graham. There were several words out there that the death of Dr. Graham would mark significant change, and that is when I knew we were truly in a new era. So, for most of us we have been in this “stage of development” all of our lives. God has been developing the Kingdom here on earth throughout the past era and we are about to see what He has been doing.
