Division Seeks to Separate People
Kathy—Ultimately a spirit of division seeks to separate God’s creation from God’s Original Intent so that the plans of God fall in history and fail to come to pass. This spirit is stupid enough to set itself against Almighty God and tenacious enough to try anything. Besides working to separate people and make relationships dysfunctional, it is working against our foundational values and beliefs. One blatant example is how this spirit is actively attempting to divide freedom from truth. John 8:32 tells us, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” There is an undeniable link between truth and freedom. It’s not that truth automatically sets everyone free, it is when we KNOW the truth. That means when we are aware of the truth, it will make us free. Truth that we KNOW will liberate or deliver or exempt us from liability. If people are unaware of truth they can live in total ignorance and live as captives of lies and erroneous beliefs and cunning deceit. In recent times we have watched deluded people project freedom to be extremes of entitlement and destructive chaos. Only a self-absorbed and warped mind believes freedom to be totally unrestrained, unaccountable and anything-goes behavior. Only darkened minds believe they are free when they are captives to misbeliefs and lies. (Isa 44:20 says that a deluded mind cannot even question the lie in his own hand.) When the United States of America declared its independence, our forefathers declared we were no longer subject to the influence or control of another government’s tyranny or its oppressive injustice or its single ruler with absolute power. The success of this nation’s launching was in the first four words of the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths . . .” They knew truth to be essential for genuine freedom, and we likewise know freedom must be in continual covenant with truth.

Not Limit God
Melissa — Let’s not limit calling on God for great and mighty answers to things we need only. If He says I’ll “show you great and mighty things” why in the world would we not call on Him on a daily basis to see what awesomeness He has in store for the here and now? The requirement for asking such things daily is to be in a dominion/heaven-on-earth state rather than a victimized one. A victimized state of mind keeps us stuck on “me, my, me”. The way out of victimhood is in truth because it has a tendency to set you free IF you know it by meditating on and living it (John 8:32). This is one of the main issues we face today because we have too much information, whether it be truth or a lie, at our fingertips every moment of every day. Easy access has become the demoralizer of an entitled culture. Yes, this applies to Christians as well.

May the Light so Shine
As the people of God assemble today may they let their light shine so that others are encouraged and strengthened by the Light of the world (Jn.8:12) that dwells in them and may they let that light shine in the week to come wherever they go and whatever they do. Matt.5:16,TPT—“So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”

God Unlimited by Dimensions
Tomorrow is a dimension and no dimension holds God captive, nor can any dimension even restrict Him. The dimensions of man are height, length, width and time. Those dimensions were made for man to function in. God can function in or out of them with equal effectiveness. If God can never be limited by any dimension, He can get you to tomorrow with no problem. (Jn.8:58)

Crying for Father’s Help
“Your throne is established from of old. You are from everlasting.” (Ps.93:2) Before any sons of Belial (“reckless, lawlessness”) planned or implemented their shenanigans, God was already on His throne. Before any elements came together to form a disaster, He was. Before Abraham, Jesus is “I Am.” (Jn.8:58) So, as Melissa sings, “He stands above it all.” And we run to the Rock that is higher than us. “For no matter where I am, even when I’m far from home, I will cry out to you for a father’s help. When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life, guide me into your glory, where I am safe and sheltered.” (Ps.61:2, TPT)

Light Shine in Midst of Darkness
Prayer & Declare—I ask of You, Father, that Your light would so shine in the midst of the darkness of this culture that people would turn from the deeds of darkness and follow Your Son in light. Make their darkness abhorrible to them in the presence of Your redeeming light. I declare that the Light of the World, Jesus Christ, overcomes darkness today even as He overcame the deep darkness of the Gadarene demoniac and that we shall see many turn to Him while gladly abandoning their sad, empty darkness. “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (Jn.8:12, NKJV)
