Picking up Old Prayers
In coming days we will be allowing Holy Spirit to stir our memory, our compassion, our passion, our stewardship. The stirring of Holy Spirit will challenge us and direct us to pick up prayers from the past that we have laid down and no longer pray. The various reasons, the discouragements and impatience that have caused us to just lay them down will begin to fade like the morning mist and we will again sense the burden/urgency, love and compassion we once did. 1Thess.5:17—“pray without ceasing”. 1Pe.3:12,TPT—“For the eyes of the Lord Yahweh rest upon the godly, and his heart responds to their prayers. But he turns his back on those who practice evil.” Acts 17:16, KJV—“Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.”

Fear Dumping
Melissa Gabler —The Holy Spirit prompted me to ask for a season of “Fear Dumping”. Then I saw a picture of a chronic cycle just about at its start over place, but this time there was a button readily available to be pushed called “Fear Dump”. When we make the choice to push that button, all of the fear driving that cycle will be dumped causing that cycle to end! A season of fear dumping is upon us, PUSH THAT BUTTON! “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2Tim.1:7, NKJV)

Go For It
Kathy — Whether your part is praying, giving, teaching, rescuing, speaking out, building, tearing down, taking on a project, starting a business, infiltrating the government mountain or media mountain or whatever else you see Him doing, GO for IT. Doing what the Father is doing is not about little shepherds facing big giants, it’s about DAVIDS facing GOLIATHS! Hear the difference? Participating with what Father is doing is not a matter of helpless pawns in a political machine, it’s DANIELS in the lion’s den! Doing Father’s business is not spiraling into despair, it’s NOAHS building the future through hell and high water. Doing what Father is doing is not slavery to the work-a-day world of business and finance, it’s MOSES’S leading in a path to a God-promise and a God-future. Doing Father’s business is not being puppets obligated to perpetuate traditions that do not display God’s power, it’s JOSIAHS born to start changing history by the age of eight. We have to SEE the difference to LIVE the difference, and we have to LIVE the difference to walk out what our Father is doing in earth as in heaven.

December is for Hearing the Noise of Heaven
The month of December is for hearing the noise, the sounds of heaven. (“Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.”) When the angels announced the birth of the Son of God to the shepherds in Luke there were heavenly sounds that caused great joy and praising (Lk.2:19-20). The shepherds praised God for all that they had heard and seen. In Revelation angels are making the sound of “holy, holy, holy!” ceaselessly day and night. In Isaiah 6:3-4 angels cry out to one another “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts” and it causes the posts of the doors to shake. There are sounds of music and singing in heaven, and it appears that God Almighty is the one making the most noise! “The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing” (Zeph 3.17). The disconsonant sounds of earth that generate troubled hearts should be drowned out by the redemptive, healing, joyful, hopeful sounds of heaven all through December. Joy has a sound—joy is a sound. Those sounds can be released into the earth by those who pray, “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.” Let us prepare our hearts to hear sounds of heaven this month. Perhaps we should praise as the angels and the shepherds until our very souls (and those around us) are shaken like the posts of the doors in heaven! Peace on earth, good will toward men.

The Beginning
Melissa — The past era was spent in the darkroom. What God has been doing is about to come to light. This is not the end. It’s the beginning. We are standing on the shoulders of all of those generations that paved the way before us. They prayed for this day and we GET TO LIVE IT. “Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you. For in fact, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness will cover the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you [Jerusalem] And His glory and brilliance will be seen on you. Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3 (AMP)

Thy Will be Done
Kathy — We must understand the power of what Jesus told us to pray, because people don’t plug into the power of praying, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as in heaven,” if they do not understand it or don’t know they can! Bear in mind also that God’s will being done in earth does not hinge on our significance. It hinges on our obedience. Like Jeremiah 11:4 said, “Obedience seals the deal.” Whatever Father is doing that you see or perceive, then doing just your part seals the deal to usher in some degree of the God-results. So if we simplify a Kingdom lifestyle down to an A-B-C format, A) is staying aware of God at all times, B) is simple obedience, and C) is trusting God. That adds up to participation in what Father is doing whether it is through sudden miracles or incremental God-changes over time.

Hand of God Moving and Covering
As the people of God assemble today may they begin to see what they have not seen before. May they see the Hand of Jehovah God moving and covering and directing them in ways that they have only imagined. May they see the gifts and anointings in each other and pray for each one to get free in the intentions of the Lord for their lives and their unity as the people of God redemptively advancing in spite of chaos. Isa.41:10,Amp—‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’

Subtle Things
Subtle things in the Bible that no one noticed until they were put in place and activated by the timing and purpose of Yahweh: (1) One Hebrew in Pharaoh’s prison (Joseph); (2) 300 men on a hillside outside a Midianite camp (Gideon); (3) 14 yr. old with a slingshot (David); (4) A baby born in an obscure stable (Jesus); (5) 12 nondescript men sitting at the feet of Jesus (ragtag, imperfect group of disciples); (6) A little boy’s lunch (feeding of 5,000); (7) 120 people having a prayer meeting in an upper room (believer-empowering, city-rocking move of Holy Spirit). Result: History Changed! Conclusion: Don’t give up!

Being Developed
Melissa — Back in the day, I used to have my own darkroom where I developed pictures. The process it took to walk out with a picture is quite remarkably like the past era we have been in. You start in a very dark room with a safe light, take a piece of light sensitive paper, put a negative between the paper and a white light and it burns an image on that paper. Now, you can’t see that image… yet. Next you put that paper in DEVELOPER, but you don’t just leave it there. You have to agitate that paper until the image starts to appear. Then you move it into a stop bath which stops the developing process. You don’t want an over-developed picture, it’s overdone. You agitate it some more to make sure the picture stops developing. Then you move it into something called “fix” which gets rid of extra particles and keeps the final product from being sensitive to light. Agitate some more. Then finally, the picture gets put into a water bath to clear it of chemicals so it is ready to be presented. Oh, you agitate it some more to make sure those chemicals are washed off. Lastly, you let that picture dry and it is ready to be presented. That’s just the process it takes for the picture to be developed. The film development, the captured/intended image, happens in complete darkness!
This process is a great picture (no pun intended) of original intention of God being developed on this earth. There are intentions developed in secret so the enemy cannot touch them. Then they go thru the process of birthing the image of God. You notice the agitation required for the image to be fully developed, but also notice there is development, movement, fixing and washing. Come on!

Solitary Dot
Kathy — We are never a solitary DOT on a globe. God is always working through more sons’ awareness than yours alone. Also, because of relationship with God and one another, we little DOTS can do something corporately. Then we become one big honkin’ DOT on this earth, a portal, a floodgate for heaven’s incoming changes! So, let’s not waste time considering our participation with Father might be insignificant or of no consequence. In Joel 2:25, the Lord said He would restore the years that the locusts have eaten. One meaning of the root word for locust is “insignificance”. God can restore the times that a sense of insignificance stole your thunder, stole your success, stole your opportunities or stole your fulfillment because you didn’t know how much your obedience mattered or did not realize you were God’s Access Point to family or the workplace or the community or to nations.

Invisible God Served by Visible Creation
The purposes of an invisible God are served by a visible creation. We are the visible representation of the unseen heavenly realm. It all culminated in the Person of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit who anointed Jesus now dwells in us and enables us to be God’s visible, tangible point of rule and authority on earth. The Holy Spirit and the Kingdom of God go hand in hand. You don’t get one without the other.

Stage of Development
Melissa — It really is an exciting time even though it may not look like it because we have entered a new era. Let’s look a little closer at what this means. Merriam Webster defines “era” as: “a memorable or important date or event, especially one that begins a new period in the history of a person or thing, a stage in development.” When I read this definition, that last part jumped off the screen, “a stage in development”. So, I looked up “development“: “1. An unfolding; the discovering of something secret or withheld from the knowledge of others; 2. The unraveling of a plot.” Oh my! We have been in the midst of an “unraveling plot” our entire lives! I am basing the time span of the past era on the life of Dr. Billy Graham. There were several words out there that the death of Dr. Graham would mark significant change, and that is when I knew we were truly in a new era. So, for most of us we have been in this “stage of development” all of our lives. God has been developing the Kingdom here on earth throughout the past era and we are about to see what He has been doing.

Doing Father’s Business
Kathy — Perceiving what the Father is doing may blow our doors at times. Participating in His Original Intent for your life can include tasks and experiences that you did not see coming. The scope of your participation may be overwhelming to the point that you want to shrink back because you suddenly feel you are just an unequipped, insignificant tiny DOT on the globe! I am alluding to one of those RED DOTS on a map that says, “You’re right here.” If you are feeling like a DOT yourself, you see such a map and think, ‘And so what! What possible difference can I make?’ However, doing what the Father is doing means we have to focus on Truth rather than our feelings. The truth is that this little DOT is a son or daughter that is right here, right now, to do Father’s business. This little DOT is an agent of agreement and this little DOT is an access point for Almighty God to bring “as it is in heaven” into this earth!

Reachable Kingdom
Kathy — If we have a subconscious someday in our thinking that makes the Kingdom ONLY reachable SOMEDAY “in the sweet bye and bye”, everything is distorted, our hope, our faith, our Life, our purpose and our heritage. That “thinking” blatantly contradicts the presence and purpose of JESUS Christ in His ministry on the earth. He demonstrated the Kingdom by healing and delivering people and telling them, “The Kingdom has come upon you.” He told them to repent, for the Kingdom is at hand, meaning that we must think differently so we can realize the power and will of God are within reach, now.

Thankful Memories that Heal
A while back I walked into the kitchen and I said to Kathy, “That smells like Thanksgiving!”. As I walked in, I experienced a wide range of sensory connections with Thanksgiving. The smell of spices and basting meat and the odors of baking coming out of the oven filled my senses. But I also began to hear things. As memories of Thanksgivings-come-and-gone stirred in my mind, I could hear the sounds of those gatherings, those loved ones, those children, those songs, that worship—in my memory. Kathy couldn’t hear any of it but I could hear many things all at once. I had to just stand there for a minute or two, not focusing on anything in the room but looking with my memory into those sights and sounds that had been cherished and stored away in valuable files of my heart. Then, even as I write now, hot tears filled my eyes and my heart raced up at the peace and joy and delight all those sounds and people in my memory brought to me. I didn’t even realize that I had tucked those precious memories away so many years ago. But the loving atmosphere, the loving people, the lovely ambiance and delicious foods all impacted my senses then for a delightful, sensory and welcome release now. No camera could have accomplished what those pleasant experiences wrought, for they were drawn up out of the well of cherished ones and cherished things in my heart. And for a brief time they were all there, all real and all so lovely once again. I am so thankful for a rich heritage, deeply meaningful relationships and for cherished memories that still impact me today. May this Thanksgiving bring to you sights and sounds and smells that pleasantly soothe you and heal you, and may they all bring you to a fresh place of rest in our Lord. (Prov.10:7a, Amp) ”The memory of the righteous [person] is a blessing,”.

Ready for Something Unusual

An Eye-opener
Melissa — Having a relationship with the King is an eye-opener: You are not junk. You have not messed up your fictitious “one shot”. You do not have to live with sickness and pain. The Kingdom out of Reach?
Kathy — His Kingdom has already been in effect, now is in effect and will be in effect always. That contradicts that silent someday that would keep the Kingdom of God out of reach during our lifetime, or keep “righteousness and peace and joy” in His presence only a future, someday realization (Rom 14:17). How messed up is it to think that righteousness, peace and joy are unreachable until you die? That thinking would make “Thy Kingdom come” a death request. Could we get any more perversely opposite to the heart of God than that? Could we deny His New Covenant provision any louder than that? If we think that His Kingdom (meaning His rule and His order) cannot come into earth now when we pray, is it any wonder that manifestations of His power show up piecemeal rather than bulk, or sporadically rather than continually? Poor God. When His stewards on earth think like that, they only accidentally stumble into agreement that opens the earth to God’s will in the now.

Understanding “Kingdom Come”
Kathy — I have prayed or read or quoted or sang the phrase, Thy Kingdom come, for years without really being aware of the magnitude of what I was saying. In my early understanding, Thy Kingdom come was a reference to heaven and eternity only. So it was like a salutation, a verbal salute, before beginning the actual prayer of Thy will be done on earth as in heaven. I’m fairly sure a good percentage of the Church prays the Lord’s Prayer with a similar paradigm which boils down to this: may heaven be ours someday and meanwhile, Thy will be done in things concerning the earth. However, there is a different understanding of the Kingdom of God in the light of Psa 145:13: “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your rule endures throughout all generations.” Rather than a place and a future existence, the Kingdom is the rule of God, His power, His authority and His government and order in effect already, in fact, for all generations.

Storms and God-Ordained Days
Melissa — Even though the sky is clearing there may be a storm or two that pop up as we head into the God ordained days ahead. No worries though, the storms have to “be still” and bow to the intention of God Almighty. In prayer the other night I heard this after it came out of my mouth, “Your Kingdom is over this nation and you are releasing another increment upon us.” What if we are that increment?! Soul-Conflicts
Kathy — Soul-conflicts cause ulcers rather than faith. An “ulcer of the soul” is inflammation like agitation, offense, irritation, anger, fear, etc. A wound of the soul is from our history or experience. Neither of those is the starting place for effectual prayer because “ulcers” and wounds can keep us from seeing from God’s perspective. Since 2021 is part of our watch, we can anticipate God’s intervention in our nation this year as we pray and neutralize contradictions that influence daily.
