O Father God, Crown the Year!

MELISSA  — “You crown the year with your bounty, and your paths overflow.” (Ps. 65:11 AMP) “Crown” here is the Hebrew word “atar”. It means to encircle for protection. So, we really are tiptoeing into something big in 2023 and we are protected as we approach our reveal. And let’s just top it off, “Your paths overflow” says 2023 is marked with abundance. The biggest fight we have at this point is truly believing our God is as good as He really is!

Putting Our Heart Into It

KATHY—The Holy Spirit gave me specific instructions one day to put my heart into the day. Graciously, He did not say, “Instead of murmuring today, try living like it connects to My good plans for you.” Whether we can see past the smoke of the fire we are in or not, we can decide to persevere each day with the confidence that it truly is an investment toward tomorrow and our potential in 2023. Mt.6:34,TPT—“Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time.  Tomorrow will take care of itself.”

The Path God has Ordained

May the Lord prosper you in the path of life that He has ordained for you in 2023. May He show you the life He has placed in that path for you and may you impart life in that ordained path. And when you have gone down that path this year, there will be many who will never be the same because you are a bearer of His life which is redemptive. Joy to you all year. “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” (Ps.16:11, Amp)

Your Name in God’s Script for 2023

KATHY—Going into this new year, let me say, if you are breathing, your name is pre-written in God’s script for the Awakening of this decade. We’re not talking the impossible dream. We’re talking the plans of God for sons and daughters to tend to Father’s business. Please don’t let that scare you or stress you in any way because we don’t have to have a super hero full-body leotard or a cape and a mask.  This is about being God-Positioned and God-Graced, Holy Spirit-prompted and Holy Spirit-enabled, and our part is to simply respond:  “Lord, be it unto me according to Your word.”

The New Year Road

As the people of God assemble today, may they see plainer than ever the road that they are purposed to run in the new year. May one be an encouragement to another to steadily get on down the path this year that leads to success for our Lord’s plan.   “…I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.” (Eph.4:1b-3, Msg)

Getting the Shield of Faith Back Up

There are some people who, throughout 2022, have tried to hold up the shield that quenches the fiery darts coming against them and their family and their church. But because of continued wearying circumstances, you have wearily lowered that shield and some of the darts and accusations have gotten through and done damage. Entering into 2023, you are getting that shield back up and into position by realizing and declaring, “But the Word of God says______.” As you quote the Word in the face of the incoming fiery darts, faith will begin to arise and you will, once again, lift the shield that quenches the darts. 2023 for you will be a season of quenching the fiery darts with the Word of faith. “Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” (Eph.6:16)

In This Next Season

Melissa—Now, what is our part in this next season? Awareness. We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this.

Relentless Opposition, Dissipate

May the Lord grant that seasons of weariness and relentless opposition over your life break and dissipate like the morning mist and may the breaking and dissipation continue all through the year.   “But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, TRIUMPH OVER OPPOSITION] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.” (Isa.54:17, Amp)

Battle-Weariness

Kathy—Our Battles this last year may have been physical or financial or attacks from people or harassment in circumstances or a siege of constant pressure. Whatever the conflict, I think battle-weariness sets in at the point there seems to be no let up, no end. Changelessness is exhausting. It can make us too tired to muster hope, but like David, that’s the time to talk to God openly. In Psalm 55, David told the Lord that he just wanted some peace and quiet, a walk in the country and a cabin in the woods. He told Him his heart was desperate for change (MSG). When we come to God in exhausted desperateness, He does not meet us there as a stonewall of resistance. That place of meeting with Him is a threshold, a starting place, a second wind. Just breathe.

The Year to Take Hold

CalendarPlanWriteMelissa — This is the year to loose your grasp on Plan B and take hold, with both hands, of Plan A – His original intent for your life in this year. If your answer is hidden, ask God what the right question is in this moment.  Ask Him what, in you, might be hindering the answer.  Ask Him what you need to know today.  He’s got plans for you, He is not into punishing you.  His M.O. is all about forgiveness, redemption, relationship, and promotion all for His glory. Hey, if He tells you it’s simply about timing then it’s really that simple.  His timing is perfect.  Look at the birth and life of Samuel.  Perseverance is key!  It’s going to be an amazing year.  Get ready for your answers. (Melissa will be leading worship and speaking at Kingdom Congress which is Mar.3-5,2021.

See the Road

As the people of God assemble today, may they see plainer than ever the road that they are purposed to run in this new year. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.” Eph.4:1b-3, Msg)

Opportunities and Decisions

In His wisdom Father has placed opportunities & choices before us (Deut.30:19; Matt.7:13). Whether or not we go through the many divinely-ordained opened doors God has put before us this year will depend upon how we make decisions this year. There are many doors open before you. They are not just barely cracked open but wide open for His Kingdom purposes, for His Name’s sake.

May Changelessness Dissipate

As the people of God assemble today may all impression and/or delusion of sameness and changelessness dissipate like a mist in the face of the truths and reality of the Word of God—that Word which changes not but changes people and circumstances.  “I want a walk in the country, I want a cabin in the woods.  I’m desperate for a change from rage and stormy weather.” (Ps.55:8, Msg)

Emancipation From Fear

Great Year to be Alive

(Melissa Gabler) — What a great, great year to be alive! We GET to not only see the shift, we get to BE the shift. Yes, the glory of God is going to be not only seen, but known.  And it’s not because things just got that bad, it’s because things and people (this includes you) are now in place for undeniable God elements.  Get ready.

Discussing Hopes and Victories

May your home be filled with different conversation in the year to come—different because you are no longer discussing threats and defeats but hopes and victories.   “Answer my prayers, O True God, the righteous, who makes me right.  I was hopelessly surrounded, and You rescued me.  Once again hear me; hide me in Your favor;  bring victory in defeat and hope in hopelessness.” (Ps.4:1, The Voice)

The First Step to Defeat Defeat

Father’s strength and wisdom are available for weary people to take the first step after not moving against things that have defeated them in the last year. The time of not doing something about defeating-factors is over. The first step will be admitting there is a problem and wanting the answer, even if it means we have to put forth some effort and make some changes. The first step will be to not wait for others and not wait for those circumstances to change, but begin the change in us.  Ps.37:23— “The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].” (Amp)

Awesome Reports

In 2019 I am praying to see a lot of posts that start with:

Hey, you guys, you’re not gonna believe this awesome report. . . !!!!!”

Call on Jesus

Call on the name of Jesus throughout the year. Let His name be upon your lips. You will invoke His Name and see Him heal,  see Him deliver others out of impossible strongholds of bondage and strongholds of fear. You will invoke His Name and see how marvelously He delivers you from the threat of harm, from bullies, from a violent spouse or parent or other relative. You will see God deliver elderly people from abuse by their children and others. You will invoke the Name of Jesus and the atmosphere will change.

Shorter Mileage to Victories

There will be shorter mileage to victories. Kid’s Version: We will not get lost on our way to God’s promises. There are areas where “mileage” to victory will be much less than in previous situations. In many cases we have gotten distracted and had to go around numerous obstacles, challenges and roadblocks to get to victory. We have zigged and zagged. In the coming year we will discover that we are able to go in more of a straight line to victory thereby cutting out “extra mileage” as we learn more about Kingdom authority and our position in Christ to speak that authority and act in that authority. The defeating sense of unworthiness will be displaced by a righteous sense of royalty as sons and daughters of the King. Isa.66:8, Amp —Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Or shall a nation be brought forth in a moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor, she brought forth her children.  Isa.30:21, Amp—And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.

Desperate for Change

(Kathy Gabler)—Our Battles this last year may have been physical or financial or attacks from people or harassment in circumstances or a siege of constant pressure. May the Year Look Totally Different

(Melissa Gabler)—A reminder for 2019: don’t forget that a lot of what you are dealing with personally, whether it be physically or emotionally, may be the war in the atmosphere.  We have the authority to say “peace” because we are His agents.  When our Lord told the storm to “be still” the atmosphere listened.  We carry that same authority and it is our job to change the atmosphere during our lifetime.  So, the next time you are dealing with something personally let your first reaction be to remember there is so much more going on around you than your eyes can see.  Ask, “Where is this coming from and how do I need to deal with it?” You may simply need to say, “Peace, be still.”
