Those trying/challenging circumstances that made a pronounced entrance into the history books in the early part of the 20th Century drove some to excel. They also enabled some who had certain knowledge, skill-sets, personality wiring, and creativity to get traction in spite of the slippery pavement of uncertainty. For those who will stand on tiptoe and stretch their neck to look beyond fears, immediate obstacles and predictions based on limited knowledge, there will always be solutions and vision waiting that can be applied to present challenges.
James 1:2 says “Consider it a sheer gift, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.”(Msg) So on those days when your spouse, children, mother-in-law and cocker-spaniel are all screaming for attention at the same time a check is missing in the check register and the fridge is dying and melting all over the kitchen floor…you need to think,“sheer gift”. Uh-huh… this is obviously going to take some practice! —Kathy

There will be shorter mileage to victories. Kid’s Version: We will not get lost on our way to God’s promises. There are areas where “mileage” to victory will be much less than in previous situations. In many cases we have gotten distracted and had to go around numerous obstacles, challenges and roadblocks to get to victory. We have zigged and zagged. In the coming year we will discover that we are able to go in more of a straight line to victory thereby cutting out “extra mileage” as we learn more about Kingdom authority and our position in Christ to speak that authority and act in that authority. The defeating sense of unworthiness will be displaced by a righteous sense of royalty as sons and daughters of the King. Isa.66:8, Amp —Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Or shall a nation be brought forth in a moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor, she brought forth her children. Isa.30:21, Amp—And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.
We are facing issues that generations before us did not face. Within moments of events taking place in remote parts of the world, we are watching them in real time. There are great challenges before us now and challenges yet to come. Those challenges must not go unmet. (Isa.45:15, The Voice) “Cyrus said You have kept yourself hidden from others, but You are indeed God, who saved Israel in the face of great challenges.” Great Jahweh who saved Israel in the face of great challenges has not run out of solutions for present generations. Just as He used ordinary people in biblical times, He is still using them in these challenging times. We are praying you discover daily that you are trusting in Mighty God to help you meet the challenges in your life. Have you noticed the myriad of challenges in current events that seem to have no solution? Have you wondered if there are any answers to the dilemmas you wrestle with in your life? As you face the unknown factors of challenges ahead of you, may your ears and eyes be opened to discover that there are still possibilities in God for solutions that no one has ever considered. May you go toward those challenges speaking in agreement with the creative acts of God in the Bible and in the earth. Let’s imitate Abraham: (Rom.4:17, Msg) “…[Abraham] dared to trust God to do what only God could do: … with a word make something out of nothing.” We are praying you discover daily the possibilities and solutions in the risen Christ. (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24 hours/day.)
We must speak prophetically to challenges. The sons and daughters of God must have a mindset that is prophetic. The prophetic mind thinks on the same scale that God Almighty thinks on. God does not speak “ant” language; He speaks “giant” language. Jesus was thinking, “We can feed these 5,000 people.” (Jn.6) Someone had to be available to go with what Jesus already knew He would do. Jesus already knows what He will do in our families, churches, cities and nation. He is looking for prophetic capacity for the purpose of prophetic declaration and participation.

There are great challenges before us now and challenges yet to come upon this
world. Those challenges must not go unmet. And who better to meet them than
those who have been with Jesus? Each son of God and daughter of God is being
tested by Holy Spirit because Jesus wants each of us to participate (Jn.20:21; Gal.4:1-7).

11th Annual Kingdom Congress
March 6-8, 2019
Info and updates: KINGDOM CONGRESS 2019
In 2014 God is giving us loving and creative insights into impacting people’s lives. People in this present culture are not wondering whether or not they will go to heaven or hell if they die, they are concerned whether they have a purpose and what they will do if they continue to have to deal with present moral and cultural challenges. God will speak to us about what He is concerned about in a person’s life while steering us away from pet peeves (religious pet peeves and pet peeves formed from our family paradigms) so that we can effectively impact them with His love and compassion.
**Live an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute their prejudices. Then they’ll be won over to God’s side and be there to join in the celebration when he arrives. (1Pe 2:12,Msg)
