Come Before Him With Thanksgiving

As the people of God assemble today, may they lift their voices, their hearts and hands and sing thanksgiving unto the Lord God for all His beneficent blessings toward us. For God is good and greatly to be praised. “[ A Song of Praise ] Come, let us praise the Lord! Let us sing for joy to God, who protects us! Let us come before him with thanksgiving and sing joyful songs of praise.” Psalm 95:1-2 GNT

When the Adam Bomb Went Off

KATHY–Any genuine God-awakening will generate relationship because God’s plan from the very beginning in the garden was first and foremost, relationship.  He fully intended then and still intends for us to be His Sons and Daughters.  Our Father in heaven created Adam in His image, as an offspring carries the likeness of their father. God then met with Adam daily as a son in training.  That’s relationship.  Adam was getting to know his Father’s heart so that he could steward earth according to His Father’s design and desire, and all was going well until the “Adam-bomb”.  What the Adam-bomb damaged above all else was relationship.  Of course then, the Good News is that Jesus, the last Adam, came to be the Way, the Truth and the Life to restore relationship (Jn.14:6).  A God awakening draws people into relationship with the Father as it restores identity and position and purpose and a future legacy.  That restoration ripples into a family, a community, a business and beyond. That’s how God-awakenings ignite revival.  We’re not talking the impossible dream but rather the plan of God.  And if God’s plan seems absolutely impossible and unreachable in the present darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places of our nation and world, then consider that as evidence that we are at the point of an Awakening!

Hearing Ear and Seeing Eye

As the people of God assemble today may they truly worship the awesome Almighty God Who has made their eyes to see and their ears to hear. May they receive clearing of the eyes and opened ears to see and hear what the Lord God is doing in this time when so many are fearful and discouraged. May they take bold steps forward while trusting in Him Who never leaves nor forsakes His own. Prov.20::12,Amp–“The hearing ear and the seeing eye—the Lord has made both of them.”

Price to Advance Into the Next Season

The Israelites actually said to Moses that they would have rather remained slaves than pay any price for freedom (Ex 14:12). If advancement into the next season does not come easily, then staying the course to the next season may be readily abandoned by those who have no intention of dealing with issues that might make them uncomfortable. The importance of this whole matter must be considered at this point: not only must we stay the course for our individual commitment to God but the Church as a whole must stay the course in order to get to that next place our Father has for us to compassionately display the healing, delivering and resurrection power of Jesus in this present age.

The God Whose Hand is Working

As the people of God assemble today may they, in all assurance, worship the God Whose hand is working beyond their immediate awareness and Who is willing that His sons/daughters participate in His workings in the nation. May they be blessed and inspired and equipped to accomplish matters for His Kingdom in coming days as they go about their living and hoping. 1Cor.2:9,Msg–“No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it—What God has arranged for those who love him.

Fast Fear

Melissa — Hey, you can fast fear! It’s true! Set your mind to it and watch how aware you become of fear in your life.  It’s amazing how interwoven that stinker is.  But when you become aware, you can do something about it.  You can take your rightful place in the driver’s seat by forcing fear out.  Ask the Holy Spirit to point it out, then you replace it with truth.  You replace fear with God’s original intent for your life, thoughts of peace to give you an expected end (Jer. 29:11).  This is not necessarily an overnight change, it takes time.  It’s a process well worth it, but you can still be an agent of change in the middle of your process.  How? By listening to the Father and doing/saying what He tells you (John 5:19).

Because God is Faithful, We Win!

KATHY—This 2Chronicles 20, account lifts our heads and hearts. 2Chron.20:14-Then the Spirit of the Lord in their midst came upon Jahaziel and He said not to fear nor be terrified of the face of this huge enemy. It is God’s war.”  God is faithful to His people so we, like Israel, can expect God-ambushes and confusion in the enemies’ camp that will have them turning on themselves. We will expect plunder, spoils, blessings and prospering economics. We can expect a consequence effect to be the fear of God awesomely coming to the nations.  Because God is faithful, we win!

Just Walking Through

Did David say, “I walked into the valley of the shadow of death and I went down to the bottom and got stuck in the muck”? Not at all. David said, “Yea though I walk through” (Ps.23:4). He did not have a pup tent and a backpack and a canteen and ready himself to stay there and grab a root and grunt. Rather, he said, “Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. And while I am walking through there I am dealing with the shadow of death”. David was talking about a demonic entity. If anybody walked through the valley of the shadow of death at least once or twice it was David. Part of what he dealt with while walking through was the fact that it was a low place. But the word we hold to, the word we confess is about going ahead and pressing on through because you have the power, you have the strength, you have the grace (the enablement) to press through and when you have pressed through you are pressing through unto… Unto that which Father has been wanting to get us to for our deliverance.

Whose Hands is the Church In

The people of God already have a King and Redeemer and no politician can replace Him. Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God is our redeemer and Messiah. To quote Dale Gentry, “We have had conservative presidents but not one has called the nation to a fast. Conservativism will not replace godliness.” And while mentioning conservativism, consider a poignant measure on the future of the matter: “The weakened Republican Party will not be successful in opposing important policy shifts. It will be engaged in an internal ideological struggle. Its main question will be the extent to which it can continue to accommodate the ideas of its religious faction and yet expand its base to appeal to a broad coalition who sees the religious right as the albatross around the neck of the party” (Sam Soleyn, “Shaking the Heavens and the Earth” http://www.soleyn com) We are standing at a tipping point in this nation that we have not quite approached to date and, for the most part, are not even aware of. The Church was never meant to place itself or its hope in the hands of political parties, candidates or governing or judicial entities created by men. The Church will only function the way it was created and ordained to function, standing on the foundation of the rule of God, that is, Kingdom principles. When the king of Sodom opened his arms wide to include Abraham in the economy of his own kingdom, Abraham quickly responded: Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have sworn to the LORD God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth, 23  that I will not take a thread or a sandal thong or anything that is yours, for fear you would say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’ (Gen.14:22-23) You become a lackey for the one who fills your pocket and grants you favors and they never let you forget they are the one who did it.
