O Father God, Crown the Year!

MELISSA  — “You crown the year with your bounty, and your paths overflow.” (Ps. 65:11 AMP) “Crown” here is the Hebrew word “atar”. It means to encircle for protection. So, we really are tiptoeing into something big in 2023 and we are protected as we approach our reveal. And let’s just top it off, “Your paths overflow” says 2023 is marked with abundance. The biggest fight we have at this point is truly believing our God is as good as He really is!

Substandard or Premium

Melissa — Look at this, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) The first half of this verse is substandard and the second half is premium. I am always drawn to that word “might” in this passage. That tells me abundant life is not a guarantee.  It’s not a guarantee to those that are asleep because their life is ruled by substandard, unclean fear.  If we don’t wake up we can’t operate in the abundance.

May The Lord Grant Abundant Supply

abundance1May the Lord grant His people abundant supply to not simply pay something on bills but to pay the bills–the total. And may He grant us the foresight and wisdom to only commit ourselves to spending what is within proper bounds for His purposes in us. May the Lord rebuke those entities that would attempt to put upon us that interest rate and that charge which is not legitimately ours to pay.

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,  So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,  Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”  Says the Lord of hosts;” (Mal.3:11, NKJV)

Jehovah-Jireh

fieldDo not look to demographics to make decisions concerning those things you have asked God for. He does not consider the rise or fall of the market before He decides to give or not. Jehovah-Jireh does not wait for the Dow Jones report to estimate your annual supply. El Shaddai does not stand at the dock to see if any boats are coming in with sufficient loads. He is the sufficient One.

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil.4:19, NKJV)
