Above all Things

All things are possible with God. The sticky part about that is, we believe the things that are possible are the things we can conceive. But ALL things are possible with God whether they are those we can imagine or those beyond our realm of knowledge and experience. Eph.3:20 “above all we ask or think”

Truth That Makes Free

Kathy—Speaking of FREEDOM…   John 8:32  “You will know the truth, and THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE.”  We need truth that sets us free to be, free to be what we were born to be so that our lives glorify our God.  We must come to freedom that gets us past some old limitations, dead ends and road blocks and cycles in our lives.

Your Day of Walking Out

Family walkingYou can be a slave to fear, heritage or habit. In the master-slave relationship there is a demand and response required. Those enslaving factors put demands on you and you spend your days responding. Defeats will linger on in your life for as long as you are willing to learn to live with them. But the Lamb has already been sacrificed and this is your day of walking out! Ex.12:31, NASB — “Then he called for Moses and Aaron at night and said, “Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the sons of Israel; and go, worship the Lord, as you have said.”

Displace Dependencies

As the people of God assemble today may the Lord Jesus Christ walk into the gatherings of His people and displace dependencies among His people with the jump uppowerful overcoming presence of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit will hover over His people until the chaos of dependencies (personality, emotional, prescription drugs, illegal drugs, alcohol) is brought to order and liberty. Gen.1:2, Amp — “The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.”  Lk.24:49, Amp “And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high.”  2Cor.3:17, Amp — “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).”

Keep Standing in Freedom

If it were not possible to keep standing in freedom, our Lord would not have commanded us in His Word to do just that. He does not want us to be captive to any degree of slavery. We have been set free to enjoy freedom within the auspices of His setfreejumpcharacter and redemptive purposes. Living our lives under the wisdom and direction of the Word of God leads us in the liberty of sons/daughters who know their Father desires nothing less than the richness of that purchased freedom. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Who has brought us to liberty that we may glorify Him who purchased it.  ”Plant your feet firmly therefore within the freedom that Christ has won for us, and do not let yourselves be caught again in the shackles of slavery.” (Gal.5:1, Phillips)

Lightened From Burden

As the people of God assemble today may they celebrate their freedom in Christ WalkingHappyknowing that they have repented, changed their minds, turned 180 degrees from sin and unto Jesus and His abundant life. May they walk through the coming week as those who have been lightened from their burden of guilt.  ”With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.” (Rom.8:1-2, Msg)

Independence Declaration

I declare, today, my independence from the mind that is enmity toward God FlagCrossAlmighty. I declare independence from dead works and lifeless observances in order that I might effectively serve the ever-living God. “How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?” (Heb.9:14, Amp)

Freedom in Christ

July 4th is a celebration about freedom in the USA but we know that, the world over, “if the Son gives you freedom, you are free!”. (Jn.8:36, CEV)  “[Freedom in Christ] It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Gal.5:1, NIV)  “Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.” (1Pe.2:16, NIV)

What Father Wants by Holy Spirit Enabling

The Holy Spirit who anointed Jesus, now dwells in us and enables us to be God’s visible, tangible point of rule and authority on earth.  It is all by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not just kings and priests so we can have titles. We are so, by the power of the Holy Spirit for the redemptive works of our Lord in the lives of those who are held in the bondage of fear (Heb.2:15). The Holy Spirit is the One who has the mind of the Father and He will guide us in those aspects of being kingly and priestly so that we may be what the Father wants us to be in those aspects.   “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].” 2Cor.3:17, Amp)

Celebrating Liberty in Christ

As the people of God assemble today may their thoughts, their hearts and their actions be about freedom and liberty in Christ.  May they rejoice in the freedom He has given them and may they impart that freedom to others through their love, compassion, words and actions.  “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed” (Lk.4:18, GNT)

Breaking Loose

breakinglooseAs the people of God assemble today, may they soar to new heights as they break loose from legalisms that have only served to bind and obligate them to systems that do not produce life. May they worship in freedom and speak and hear the true Word of God in liberty that produces liberty in others. “So we [Jewish Christians] also, when we were minors, were kept like slaves under [the rules of the Hebrew ritual and subject to] the elementary teachings of a system of external observations and regulations.” (Gal.4:3, Amp)

Accomplished With the Help of our God

With the frequency of national and international crises threatening life and liberty, we need the intervention of Almighty God. May Jehovah God help Flaghandsprayhis people in such a way it cannot be denied that it was His hand that intervened and delivered them. May He act in behalf of the righteous and further His work in this nation so that the enemies of this nation recognize His acts and lose confidence in their devices. May Nehemiah’s testimony be ours: (Neh.6:16, Amp)  “When all our enemies heard about it, and all the nations around us saw it, they lost their confidence; for they recognized that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.” May you discover daily your victories are accomplished with the help of your God.

Broken Shackles

ShacklesBrokenAs the people of God assemble today, may they stand in the liberty wherewith Christ has made them free, and in their praise and worship of Him may they pull further from captivity and its residue than they ever have before. May sounds and acts of freedom fill the atmosphere and may those who are bound be set free in an atmosphere of breaking shackles.

”Plant your feet firmly therefore within the freedom that Christ has won for us, and do not let yourselves be caught again in the shackles of slavery.” (Gal.5:1, Phillips)

Indivisible With Liberty

Flaghandspray
May God most high have mercy and help our “one nation under God”
that it stand “indivisible with liberty and justice”. May those who seek
the hurt and seek to destroy life and liberty in our great nation be
ashamed and humiliated and may they be turned back in defeat.

“Let those be ashamed and humiliated together who seek my life to
destroy it; Let those be turned back [in defeat] and dishonored
who delight in my hurt.” (Ps.40:14, Amp)

Liberty, Adversaries and Cost

Liberty, Adversaries and Cost
In 1776 the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. There was much sacrifice in reaching that momentous date forever etched in history. The colonists came dangerously close to losing on more than one occasion. There was a lack of weapons, training and basic supplies. The soldiers were up against disease as well as the well-trained British army and their desperate generals. George Washington not only had to be on alert against British tactics but also on alert for self-seeking traitors in his own army.

In spite of the seeming unbalance in the two opposing forces, what could only be called “the hand of God,” not only brought the scales back into balance but took them over in favor of the colonials. Just one example among others is that when Washington marched against Boston, the soldiers dug trenches with the help of a clear night. The next morning a British engineering officer reported that the progress of the colonials must have required 15,000 to 20,000 men, more than double the size of the present colonial army. Just as the battle was beginning the weather suddenly changed and a storm set in by noon with hail, sleet and a wind that “blew almost a hurricane.” General Howe decided not to attack and retreated from Boston. Washington and others gave the glory to God’s hand at work.

Although it has been noted that Washington was not a brilliant strategist and had shown indecisiveness at crucial moments, one writer said, “Washington never forgot what was at stake and never gave up.” George Washington credited the blessing of God as the reason he was able to endure. “He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved” (Ps 62:6)

Many Americans sense the threat against the liberties those Founding Fathers faithfully fought for. But we will not continue to realize them simply through political efforts. Without the intervening Hand of Almighty God and our desperate seeking of His precepts, those liberties remain eminently threatened. “I will walk at liberty and at ease, for I have sought and inquired for and desperately required Your precepts.” (Ps 119:45) I pray the Lord God will give us determination, not only to guard our civil liberties, but to seek His precepts so that we have a value system that will prompt us to, at least, basic stewardship (such as voting) in the preserving of what He gave us in this great nation. (Ref.: americanvision.org)
