KATHY GABLER—Preparation Against Weapons—Melissa was recently awakened at 5:00 am on a Sunday morning with a terrible pain in her thigh.Something was biting her.She was already conditioned to panic with a memory root of having been bitten in her sleep before by a brown recluse spider. Added to that, she had killed a scorpion in her house three weeks earlier.So conditioned, she jumped up in a frantic search to find her attacker.Suddenly, however, the Spirit of the Lord said, “Don’t you think I have prepared your body to beat the weapon I saw being formed against you?”She then remembered the downloads the Holy Spirit had been giving her in recent weeks concerning foods and specific nutrients to take.Her panic turned to peace as quickly as it had sprung up, and the bite lost its threat. She found the culprit, dead from her slap, and the bite was a tiny dot by midmorning.“Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.” (Eph.6:13)

Marty Gabler—As the people of God assemble today may they know with assurance that the powers of darkness can hide for only just so long. May they rejoice that darkness is being exposed just like Pharaoh’s wizards’ serpents and agendas. And as Jehovah God is setting them up for a fall, we can do our part by praying that God will work in lives and bring truth and evidence to positioned people to expose and bring down evil structures.Eph.6:12–“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Kathy —It appears that we will have plenty of spiritual warfare to keep us busy in 2025. I’ve always thought the only reason to go to war is to win, but I’m beginning to realize there are other reasons for warfare. Some battles are a matter of training our soul (our mind and will and emotions) to stand and develop muscle to be able to stand no matter what. Eph. 6:13 puts it this way: And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm. The goal of warfare can also be to take ground incrementally in Divine timing. There are many maneuvers needed to pull down strongholds in this present darkness. It is a bigger war than we can wage from one battlefield. This present darkness is a matter of world rulers that are spirit forces of wickedness in the spirit realm. These forces gather to form strongholds, and there they influence and manipulate people like puppets for their evil intents to kill, steal and destroy. That’s why Eph 6:12 tells us we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. These forces must be dismantled strategically and incrementally along with the workers of darkness they deploy into this present darkness.
As the people of God assemble today may they worship like David who praised the Most High God of Israel for His acts in behalf of His people. May they receive strength, put on the full armor of God and go forth in the power of His might as He fills them with His Holy Spirit and His wisdom to act in the power of the Spirit. Eph.6:10-11,Amp—“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
MELISSA—Of the battles currently happening, the biggest battle going on right here amongst us is our children vs. Molech.Molech was the god of the Ammonites and Phoenicians to whom some Israelites sacrificed their infants (see Leviticus 18:21).I don’t think it can get more obvious that evil is after the children.The spirit of the Molech agenda is about conforming children (who make future adults/leaders) into confused, damaged, mindless and anomalous automatons that can be easily controlled and enslaved.This is proof that it is powers and principalities we are warring against (Eph.6:12) and all of the misguided individuals hyping evil rhetoric are simply the victimized puppets.If people think all of this is crazy, they better understand that this thing is steadily cranking up.Early in the year 2022 my Dad heard, “By halloween of 2022 the underbelly of the USA will be exposed.”And, to a considerable degree, it has with articles and news features even using the headline with the word “underbelly”.All these types of, may I say, “explosive” issues show us that we better be aware and prepared for what’s just ahead. So, it may be a good idea for us all to pray and to get involved, at some level, in the culture: 1Tim.2:12,Amp—“First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, 2 for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” Matt.5:16,Amp—“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
There are some people who, throughout 2022, have tried to hold up the shield that quenches the fiery darts coming against them and their family and their church. But because of continued wearying circumstances, you have wearily lowered that shield and some of the darts and accusations have gotten through and done damage. Entering into 2023, you are getting that shield back up and into position by realizing and declaring, “But the Word of God says______.” As you quote the Word in the face of the incoming fiery darts, faith will begin to arise and you will, once again, lift the shield that quenches the darts. 2023 for you will be a season of quenching the fiery darts with the Word of faith. “Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” (Eph.6:16)
As the people of God assemble today I pray our eyes will be opened to opportunities and possibilities we have been hindered in seeing because of the plethora of present circumstances that are demanding so much attention in our dreaming and decision processing. May Father find His attempts successful in making His wisdom and designs available to those who, having stood, continue to stand and ask and seek and knock. Eph.6:11-13,Msg—“So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. 12This is no weekend war that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels. 13 Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.”

There are all manner of threats, predictions and precautions concerning present perils and the “need for wisdom” in future ministry considerations. While many are calling for such wisdom to be applied in this hour, somewhere a cry should also be going forth for some amount of determination (Eph.6:13-“stand firm”) to be applied. Where is it written that authority is given to events of certain times in history or to evil persons of those times to become the master decision-makers for all of us, especially those who were acknowledging and embracing a divine destiny before these threatening perils and persons started doing their destructive deeds? Job 5:12, Amp — “He frustrates the devices and schemes of the crafty, So that their hands cannot attain success or achieve anything of [lasting] worth.” God will partner with His people who pray and declare His purposes in the nation and “He frustrates the devices and schemes of the crafty, So that their hands cannot attain success or achieve anything of [lasting] worth.” (Job 5:12, Amplified)
Kathy — Apostle Paul put the issue in these descriptive terms: “we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere” (Eph.6:12, AMPC). Discerning works or workers of darkness may not always be as obvious as in the showdown between Moses and the Egyptian magicians. It will not always be their acts and abilities that expose workers of darkness, but being confronted with truth and light will always reveal their motive and their source of power. The showdown between Moses and the magicians exposed everything.

The month of December is for recommitting ourselves to prayer for one another and matters that matter. It seems to be easy to fall out of the habit of regular prayer when the stuff of life happens and pulls on us and disappoints us and distracts us. But we can refocus and return to (or begin) the all-important discipline of regular prayer in December. Eph.6:18, Amp — “With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people.” 1Tim.2:8, Amp — “Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger and disputing or quarreling or doubt [in their mind].”
Kathy — If devils show up on our “radar” (awareness, discernment), we can take that as time for a throw down! Eph. 6:12, says “we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood” opponents, but it doesn’t just say, “We wrestle not”! In fact, it gives us a loud list of what we are wrestling: authorities and powers of darkness, master spiritswho are world rulers of darkness and spirit forces of wickedness in the supernatural realm. Wrestling is about forcing an opponent to the ground. In spiritual battles, this will involve using un-carnal, God-sanctioned weapons. In wrestling, the right move is the right weapon. We have moves like effectual prayer or declaration or decree or unique obedience or gifts of the Spirit or laying on of hands, coming in the opposite spirit and corporate agreement. If the confrontation isn’t a quick “one shot, one kill” and it becomes a laborious, wearisome show-down, remember also that wrestling involves refusing to go down. Even if lion’s breath is in your face and melting your nose hairs, don’t go down in discouragement and despair. You are not wrestling to go down and end up as a lion’s lunch. Texans were inspired by their battle cry, “Remember the Alamo.” Sons of God can cry, “Remember Daniel’s Den!” That was an awesome as-it-is-in-heaven, throw-down moment of heaven coming to earth. When the wrestling match is won, we dispossess and displace the enemy, take back what they stole and bring heaven’s order into the chaos and dysfunction they caused.
The hour is coming when the glory and power of God is going to be demonstrated in a company of people. “There will be a trickle, then it will begin to grow and then there will be a tipping point.”(1S.G.) God is a mightyGod. “You shall not dread them, for the Lord your God is among you, a mighty and terrible God.” (Deut.7:21, Amp) The word “mighty” is associated with dominion. This new era is about believers reconnecting with the right to rule. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” (Eph.6:10) The spirit of might is going to become part and parcel of our weaponry and tactics. The church will have strength to overcome any enemy. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Lk.10:19) This power and might and strength have been held by God for the church when there would be a tipping point at which He could release it in great measure. We have only seen a trickling of it to this point. When we realize that we are in an era that the church has never operated in before, we can avail ourselves and position ourselves for the Holy Spirit to come upon us in power that has been reserved for this time in history.
