The Path Planner

KATHY—Wouldn’t it be more in character with our wise and loving God to have planned a path for us that fulfills who we are rather than contradicts who we are?  To think otherwise is to assume our Heavenly Father has not been actively aware of us in every moment of our lifetime. To think otherwise is to assume our gifts and callings were an after-thought, after God got to know our personality and talents and quirks.  No, we serve the God who knows the end before there is a beginning! (Isa.46:10)

Grab Hold of God’s Word

We take God’s Word, grab hold of it and tenaciously cling to it until it carries us into tomorrow. “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying… I will do all my pleasure.” (Isa46:10) This means that God declares something before there is anything like it in existence and when it is time for it to be manifest, it comes into existence. He is not finished declaring over you!

LEAVE OUT THE COP-OUTS

LEAVE OUT THE COP-OUTS—If you spend any time around little children, you will realize that they are champions at excuses for not obeying or completing tasks. If allowed to carry that fall-back into their future without being expected to fulfill requirements put upon them it will result in their failure in tasks and in the proper development of their character.

MPG GraceIt is good to realize our utter dependence upon God as long as we don’t shift it from humble recognition to excuse. (1Ki 3:7)  “Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of David my father, and I am but a lad [in wisdom and experience]; I know not how to go out (begin) or come in (finish).” (Amp)  That is an expression stating that he had not done what he is now being called upon to do – that he has no experience or knowledge of the matters awaiting him.

Many feel that they do not know how to walk out the remainder of 2022 because the last couple of years have proven to be matters and circumstances that we have never had to walk out before.

Proclaiming not knowing how to begin or end a thing shouldn’t be an excuse but rather an acknowledgement of Who does. Then, if we know Who does know how to begin and end a thing (Isa.46:10), we can yield to Him and His principles of enablement for and completing mandates and making necessary adjustments in preferences, appetites and emotions.

Stay in the Raft

We need a handle to hold on to for the tomorrows to come. On a documentary about the Colorado River I saw a raft full of people going through rapids. The guy at the very back of the raft was not holding on good and when the raft hit some very turbulent water he flew up into the air, flipped over backwards and hit the water while the raft simply continued down the river with all the other adventurers still inside. We need a handle to hold on to because our nation is in the rapids and is going through some turbulent water but we have a raft (Isa.46:10; 2Pe.1:19). We have heard what many, who are called prophets, have said and we have heard what politicians and advisors have said but we need to stay in the raft, we need to know what God’s Word says. In the day of Noah, while the world was deteriorating around him, Noah had a raft. It was the preparation of God for those who would heed His voice. Jesus is still the solid Rock. Recent and threatening events have not turned Him into a pebble. There is Someone solid for us to cast our anchor on. Stay in the raft.

When All the Parts Come Together

Kathy — Being quick to put our expectations and definitions on a word from God can set us up for disappointment because we know in part. We must allow God to define terms and add parts. Through the process we more fully PieceOfPuzzleunderstand what He said up front. So, no matter how contradictory or upsetting a part might seem, we can rest assured when all the parts finally come together, God’s intent and purpose will prevail. Isa.46:10, TPT — “I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened. I decree that my purpose will stand, and I will fulfill my every plan.”
(On March 5, 2021 Kathy will be speaking on “The Kingdom and the Awakening” at Kingdom Congress at Grace Church in Willis,TX. The meetings will not be livestreamed. For detailed information go to martygabler.com/kc2021/)

While Standing at the Beginning

God speaks the end while standing at the beginning (Isa.46:9-10). After speaking the end God must begin looking for some folks who will stay the course so that particular end may be realized. Someone must stay the course out of Egypt and remain standing before the Red Sea (without demanding relief) until it splits—so there can be witness to the fact that this God truly is a sea-splitter. Isa.46:9-10, TPT—“Remember the miracles of long ago. Acknowledge that I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened. I decree that my purpose will stand,  and I will fulfill my every plan.”

In it For The Long Haul

There are all manner of threats and predictions concerning present perils and the “need for wisdom” in future ministry considerations. While many are calling for such wisdom to be applied in this hour, somewhere a cry should also be going forth for some amount of determination to be applied. Where is it written that authority is given to events of certain times in history or to evil persons of those times to victory_groupbecome the master decision-makers for all of us, especially those who were acknowledging and embracing a divine destiny before these threatening perils and persons started doing their destructive deeds? 9 “Remember your history, your long and rich history. I am God, the only God you’ve had or ever will have—incomparable, irreplaceable— 10 From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, Assuring you, ‘I’M IN THIS FOR THE LONG HAUL, I’LL DO EXACTLY WHAT I SET OUT TO DO,’ 11 Calling that eagle, Cyrus, out of the east, from a far country the man I chose to help me. I’ve said it, and I’ll most certainly do it. I’ve planned it, so it’s as good as done. 12 “Now listen to me: You’re a hardheaded bunch and hard to help. 13 I’M READY TO HELP YOU RIGHT NOW. Deliverance is not a long-range plan. Salvation isn’t on hold. I’m putting salvation to work in Zion now, and glory in Israel.” (Isa.46:9-13, MSG)

Getting Caught up in God’s Momentum

It is not that momentum is increasing, it is that we are getting caught up into it. There has never been a point at which Jahweh’s plan has lacked momentum nor has He ever slowed down His plan, nor has His interest in getting us to purpose waned. Jahweh is drawing us ever more into His pre-existent, always-existent momentum. “…I am GOD, the only God you’ve had or ever will have– incomparable, irreplaceable–   10  From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, Assuring you, ‘I’m in this for the long haul, I’ll do exactly what I set out to do,’ “ (Isa.46:9b-10, Msg)

What God has Started

What God has started cannot be stopped. “Of the INCREASE of [his] government and peace THERE SHALL BE NO END, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts WILL PERFORM this.” (Isa.9:7; also 2Chron.6:4; Isa.46:10; Rom.4:21) He has started a work in believers and that impacts their environment. Our cities, our communities, our nation must be recaptured. We cannot be held captive by criminals, whether they are in the streets and alleys or whether they are in political office. Our prayers must change to become prayers of decrees and commands. The church finds itself in a new era and must co-labor with the purposes of our Lord by speaking and acting in the power He has given us over all the power of the enemy. (Lk.10:19)
