The Nation is Ripe
This nation is likely riper than it has ever been. It is probably riper than it was in the 1960’s when there was so much turmoil and chaos with the rioting and unrest. We are sons and daughters of God, there is a harvest and Isaiah says that God has harvesters and gatherers who can bring it in. There is a harvest of souls, of people who are fed up with chaos and lawlessness, misinformation and lies and the consequences of unrighteousness. There are people who are ready to be reached, ready to be loved, ready for peace in their lives.

Band-Aids and Cures
MELISSA — There is a tendency in each of us to get tunnel visioned, and self-focused. Actually, it is somewhat of a plague in our western culture. There are plenty of seemingly good reasons to get this way: the down spiral of society, diseases with no names or cures, economic decline, etc. With such looming danger it is easy to see why our scope narrows to personal and family survival. The problem is this, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:3-4) He provided the cure for all of the above mentioned epidemics, and that cure is inside of us according to 2 Peter. There are pieces obviously missing in our lives if we are living by apocalyptic survival strategies daily. There are dots not connected if we are investing in “band-aids” while the cure dwells inside of us.

Trust and Learn
Kathy Gabler — If you have had strategic God-to-Man, prophetic communications that you found out later were insights that you hadn’t understood up front, don’t grieve and beat yourself up over that. Again, factor in God’s nature. Does He intend us to live in regret? No, He is our Redeemer who buys back lost opportunities. His nature is unchanging and we can trust our Redeemer and learn from such experiences.

Reaching for God’s Extraordinary
We must reach up and get hold of God’s extraordinary which is more than a span of revival meetings that gives us temporary relief from the mundane. The mundane must be invaded in such a way that we do not simply return to it after a brief respite and after things are trying to sink back into “business as usual”.

God Knows the Hiding Places
MELISSA — While Iwo Jima is known as an “in-by-inch” battle, another interesting piece of the Iwo Jima battle is that the enemy was all underground and in caves. Our troops were out in the open while the enemy attacked from out of sight. Man, if that don’t preach! Unless you have completely gone off the grid you are aware of the bombardment we have been under and how it feels eerily similar to this type of warfare structure. It’s been a nasty siege but I am quickly reminded that, “He frustrates the devices and schemes of the crafty, so that their hands cannot attain success or achieve anything of [lasting] worth.” (Job 5:12 AMP) The enemy thinks he has the upper hand, but I think he forgets that God knows where he is hiding.

Common Cocoons and Customized Cocoons
KATHY — Some cocoons (a type of being entrapped, tough times in life) are common for many people, but we also have our customized cocoons, those tough times that are unique to us. These come from matters that need resolve in our soul, like you may be having to work on a relationship that was damaged by jealousy or fear or anger. Or you may be having to deal with problems you inherited, ongoing battles from choices made four generations ago. Perhaps your forerunners didn’t choose life and blessings and it caused them to end up with a view of marriage that’s bound to fail. So the next generation has to work through the trickle-down issues of divorce. Or a generation made wrong career choices and bankrupted the whole family causing poverty conditions and limitations for decades. Or a generation chose death and curses, deciding to be lawless, and the ripple effect undermined character to the point that a family or community or culture is cocooned in corruption. Can our struggles really be related to our purpose and our future when we can’t see any connection to either? We need to CHOOSE LIFE and bring CHANGE in our lifetime, and even expect change to ripple back to the previous generation.

As the people of God assemble today may their expectancy increase as they trust Almighty God to act more and more openly and publicly in their families and in this nation. May they pray bigger and ask bigger of this awesome God and may they fear Him and trust Him and follow after His Word and precepts. Ps.50:15,TPT—“Honor me by trusting in me in your day of trouble. Awakening and Reformation
Melissa — We are in the midst of a seriously sobering season. We are in the thick of the increase of His perpetually increasing government (Isaiah 9:7). Awakening won’t be limited to the American church’s view of what it should look like to be most effective. Awakening is going to seep through the cracks in the foundation of the American church and reform it. Awakening brings reformation. We better be ready for awakening to bring some shock and awe too! It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, (Eph. 5:12-13 NLT) This awakening is going deep. It’s going to shed light on things that have been going on under our noses but we haven’t seen it because we have been asleep. It will be shocking, but that is why reformation comes with it. Resolve Anger
KATHY–How do we CHANGE and resolve anger? The first step is HONESTY. WARNING: our religious mindsets can set us up for defeat, if we believe that being angry is a sin. If that is the case, the accuser of the brethren delights in keeping us on the witness stand, denying that we are angry. He has an open and shut case against us and sues for damages. Sometimes the suit lasts a lifetime! But the Spirit of God lovingly bids us to get off the witness stand and calls us to the Judge’s chambers to admit the anger. This might scare everyone in the courtroom, but it will not frighten the Judge. For in the honesty and truth of the Judge’s chambers change begins. Anger and grief begin to let go of our emotions!

The Extraordinary of Heaven in This Present World
We are in an era of history when nothing less than the extraordinary of Heaven is required in this present world. We cannot and will not look for those things offered by mere religious sentiment that serve as nothing more than band-aids covering the unresolved issues and fruitless forms and programs of western religion. We must lift up our heads from where we are and look to where there is transforming power and radical answers that change individuals and grip them with an insatiable vision for the Kingdom of Heaven in the earth. Inch-by-Inch
MELISSA — God is putting His finger on things that must be dealt with right now in individual’s lives. This is a tremendous opportunity to be free of cycles, issues and fears that have held you and your family captive. I know there are those reading this right now that have had recent revelations of personal bondage that the Lord is unlocking. He’s opening eyes and restoring lives for, dare I say, such a time as this! So, take rest in knowing you don’t have to have it all figured out and on track before you go to bed tonight. Just simply start with realizing that He is the One Who restores your soul and leads you in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake (Ps. 23). God’s Will in the Now
KATHY GABLER — His Kingdom has already been in effect, now is in effect and will be in effect always. That contradicts that silent “someday” that would keep the Kingdom of God out of reach during our lifetime, or keep “righteousness and peace and joy” in His presence only a future, someday realization (Rom 14:17). How messed up is it to think that righteousness, peace and joy are unreachable until you die? That thinking would make “Thy Kingdom come” a death request. Could we get any more perversely opposite to the heart of God than that? Could we deny His New Covenant provision any louder than that? If we think that His Kingdom (meaning His rule and His order) cannot come into earth now when we pray, is it any wonder that manifestations of His power show up piecemeal rather than bulk, or sporadically rather than continually? Standing With US
As the people of God assemble today may Holy Spirit bring conviction that He is surely standing with them and they are not in the battle by themselves. And, by the enablement of Holy Spirit, may they stand with one another in the battles that try to take the brethren down and put them out of the good fight of faith. 2Tim.4:16-18a,TPT—“At first there was no one I could count on to faithfully stand with me—they all ran off and abandoned me—but don’t hold this against them. 17 For in spite of this, my Lord himself stood with me, empowering me to complete my ministry of preaching to all the non-Jewish nations so they all could hear the message and be delivered from the mouth of the lion! 18 And my Lord will continue to deliver me…”

Holy Spirit is in the Fight
Our Nation—The Holy Spirit Is In The Fight
A while back I was praying about our nation. I was listing the issues and the chaos and the unrighteous rulers before God. It was then that I saw a vision of a boxing ring. A man in a tux walked out into the center of the ring, took the microphone and announced the fight. He pointed to his left and said, “In this corner is anarchy, liberalism, atheism, existentialism, failing morals and failing values.” The crowd would gasp in horror each time the announcer would list another of the creature’s attributes. Each time he listed another name or description, the dark creature in that corner grew another inch and gained another 20 pounds until he menacingly filled that corner of the ring. Then I heard a voice cry out and ask, “But who will figure the Holy Spirit into the equation? Who will announce Him?” In the vision I jumped to my feet and cried aloud, “I will!” I climbed into the ring, took the microphone and said, “BUT in THIS corner is the One who, in the beginning when the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep, this One, the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and chaos was changed into order!” The crowd jumped to their feet and began to shout until the roar was deafening. The whole atmosphere changed.
Don’t count out Holy Spirit — Holy Spirit is in the fight. Too many people are climbing into the ring of discussion and opinion, taking the mic and announcing the negative. Every time we announce the negative, we give it more size and weight in our thinking and the thinking of others. David overcame his enemies but reported this pattern while he was doing it: “From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of the Lord is to be praised.” (Ps113:3)

Awakening and Reformation
DR. GREG CRAWFORD — A few years ago the Lord told me, “Your message this week is written on the capital wall. Go to the state capital and get your message.” I went to the capital and began my search. I read everything hanging on all the walls. I read plaques and things posted on every floor and almost every public room. I was coming up with nothing. As I kept ascending to the very top floor in the rotunda, I finally found it. Written around the very top were the words, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” The words “a new birth of freedom” are what stood out. I would later learn this was Lincoln’s last line of the Gettysburg address. The Lord spoke to me and said, “This will become the rallying point for the awakening and reformation you seek. This will be the common sound that will unite and draw people to a common cause.” I assumed that was for my state but today I see it is for the nation.

Something Churning
MELISSA — I feel something big churning as of late. I do know that some of it is about the remainder of the decade, but more importantly I believe this discernment is about getting ready for the rest of 2023. I believe that the latter part of 2023 is very significant to how we enter the rest of the decade. As I write this I see a picture of the American flag being raised by brave Marines at Iwo Jima during World War II. In researching this battle this statement stuck out, “The battle was won by the inch-by-inch tenacity of the foot soldier”. 2023 will be won “by the inch-by-inch tenacity of the foot soldier,” right now. For those that struggle with an all-or-nothing drive, (like me) the statement “inch-by-inch tenacity” can be almost devastating. I really prefer a battle being done in a one-glorious-moment tenacity! Here’s the thing with the remainder of 2023, the inch-by-inch is going to lead to many glorious moments in the coming years.

Bullies and Schemes
KATHY —As big as Goliath was, his greatest strength lay not in his muscles but in his schemes (sounds like a present-day, ongoing face-off if you ask me). Today we are facing a more sophisticated monster with many mouths. Nevertheless, like Goliath, this monster has stood on the battlefield, arrayed in armor that implied its own success and presumed to set the parameters for battle. A giant’s voice launched an attack on the ear, the mind and the heart of the hearers (as has the voice of the monster’s fake media). The voice appealed to reason and logic, to narrow everyone’s thinking down to a dark, one-sided agenda. For 40 days, twice daily, Goliath challenged Israel to be “reasonable” and believe that he had thought things out and was offering the best scenario for all concerned. Are we talking giants, monsters or politicians or all of the above? (Did I mention that bullies lie?) Daily the giant and monster were convincing them that the outcome was a given so they might as well just suck it up, get it over with and walk into slavery, (with the least bloodshed possible, especially on their side.) Bullies will threaten and intimidate with brute strength or accusation or blackmail or logic or sentiment or an edge of superiority (in knowledge, intellect, reason, information, experience, wealth, age, etc.). An experienced bully can even swing to the other end of the spectrum and use his own neediness or weaknesses or lack of self-worth to manipulate people and events. In fact, a cunning bully can make a weapon of most anything. For example, he can condemn someone into action by manipulating their “sense of responsibility”. Then he can twist his own “sense of responsibility” to justify his brutal or selfish behavior. The bottom line is that an established bully intends to be king of the mountain . . . at any cost. Deut.31:6, Amp — “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.”

Experiencing the Power of the Future Now
One of the benefits of the church trampling on destructive serpents (Lk.10:19) and exercising redemptive power is healing and deliverance (evidence of the presence of the Kingdom of God). People get healed without anyone laying hands on them. People walk up after a meeting and tell me they were healed of something that was not even mentioned in a word of knowledge. People with cancer are healed without anyone laying hands on them. We heard a report of severe Parkinson’s being healed. An alcoholic was completely delivered during a ministry time of word of knowledge and prophecy but no form of dependency was even mentioned in the word. He was delivered right where he was seated. His wife reported that she knew the moment he was delivered. A very angry, rebellious 16 year old whose father had abandoned him attended one of our meetings recently after having refused to attend with his mother for months. At the end of the service his mother asked him if he would let me pray for him. He came forward with her and I prayed for them and prophesied to him. The word of the Lord so impacted him that his life was transformed. He was totally different from that moment. On his own accord he went to the pastor and apologized and asked him to be his father and volunteered for any work needing done. We are already seeing the power of the new era. Attain and Sustain
MELISSA — In a conversation with a dear friend, regarding why some things have still not happened, this hit me: We want fast answers (basically bandaids). The long-lasting, deep, most satisfying things take longer because we have to have the understanding and character to not only attain them but to sustain them. This kept coming back to me all day. It has been one of those kind of days where I have been hearing about the sovereignty of God unfolding in friends’ lives (that which God has been doing all along coming to the point where we can see it). It’s been that kind of day where one quietly sits back and realizes your mouth is hanging open in awe. Here we are in a new decade and the above mentioned unfolding is happening on a more and more steady basis. I believe we need to get ready for it to increase even more! I already know that this year is going to be something else. It’s not going to be a stroll in the park, but hear me out. What is opening up already is going to be fuel for, not only the rest of the year but, the decade ahead! There’s no need to be afraid or worry about being ready. You are already ready. The sovereign plan of God is unfolding in our lives right now and His plan is far more powerful than any dark agenda in high places. Stay Aware for the Unique
KATHY — I awoke one night hearing my own voice saying, “It must be now!” I fell back to sleep wondering what was going on. The next day as I walked through the kitchen again those words came up in my spirit, “It must be now!” That time as I spoke, I heard the sound of wind whoosh by my ear. I said, “Lord, what is happening?” He said, “You are deploying angels and your agreement is crucial in timing.” That stunned me but I’m beginning to realize the promptings of the Holy Spirit are bringing us into awareness to bring a sound of agreement out of us. I heard the Lord say last Sunday, “I am going to do unique and powerful things, watch.” That instruction to “watch” was a call to stay aware and ready to participate. I believe we are in the Lord’s earth and in His history to see His righteous agenda turn nations!
