Kathy — Jesus did not leave us the example that persecution should leave us a shaken, bloody victim. He glorified God. Jn.17:4, TPT “I have glorified you on the earth by faithfully doing everything you’ve told me to do.” By example He showed us that persecution cannot take you out. He left when it was time to leave by God’s direction and not a moment before God said, not a slap before God said, not a false accusation before God said, not one human or demonic maneuver before God said.

Benjamin Franklin said, “A good example is the best sermon”. Growing up, I heard a lady tell her children on several occasions, “Do as I say, not as I do.” She required her children to be good people but gave herself extra latitude of conduct. But how 
many know that her saying one thing and doing another was about as effective as a screen door in a submarine? Jesus speaking to the Father: (Jn.17:6, Msg) “I spelled out your character in detail to the men and women you gave me. (v.9) I pray for them. (v.10) And my life is on display in them. They’ll continue in the world.” We are praying you discover daily that you are finding the list of people growing who watch you and speak well of you. We are concerned for our children today, Holy Father. We pray that, where earthly fathers have failed, You reach out Your protecting Hand and speak with Your 
guiding Voice to the children and Youth of our nation. We pray that Your Presence would be known on our school campuses through the believers that are on site and that Your Holy Spirit would strengthen and give wisdom to the teachers and school officials for the appropriate education and safety of our children. We declare that the hand of the Lord is moving in behalf of our children and that no spirit or enemy that has designs on harming or destroying them shall succeed. We declare that no weapon formed against this generation will prosper. We declare an awakening of the righteous purpose of Almighty God in this generation that they might live righteously, courageously, and effectively to Your glory. “I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.” (Jn.17:15, Amp)
