The Extraordinary of Heaven in This Present World

We are in an era of history when nothing less than the extraordinary of Heaven is required in this present world. We cannot and will not look for those things offered by mere religious sentiment that serve as nothing more than band-aids covering the unresolved issues and fruitless forms and programs of western religion. We must lift up our heads from where we are and look to where there is transforming power and radical answers that change individuals and grip them with an insatiable vision for the Kingdom of Heaven in the earth. We must reach up and get hold of God’s extraordinary which is more than a span of revival meetings that gives us temporary relief from the mundane. The mundane must be invaded in such a way that we do not simply return to it after a brief respite and after things are trying to sink back into “business as usual”.  (Marty will be speaking and ministering prophetically at KINGDOM CONGRESS Mar.3,2023. Living Like we Have a Lord

Our mandate from our heavenly Father has not changed because there is political turmoil throughout the nation and throughout the world or because there is a natural disaster in several nations at one time. We don’t have to look for a new mandate because it is the same one we have had for a long time (Matt.10:7;28:18-20); we just need to begin to give ourselves, our effort and our money to it. We are still supporting missions and investing in our spiritual sons/daughters, still making plans for the future and increasing efforts for the Kingdom. There are people talking about changing their plans and goals for their church “because the coming of the Lord is so near”. What we best be planning is planning to live like we have never lived for the purposes of God. Perhaps we should put less emphasis on “talking” about a Savior and begin to “live” like we have a LORD Who has left us with a mandate.

Jesus Proved You Have Value

Kathy—Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection and ascension were for our salvation.  That salvation includes the power to overcome any obstacle to your life and purpose.  The fact that Jesus came to die for you proves that you have value.  That’s your trump, that’s undeniable proof that you have value!  Now let’s figure out how to get our emotions to agree with that truth so that we don’t bottom-out if someone treats us as if we don’t have worth. It is a lie to believe someone else’s problem can make you worthless.  Matthew 10:30 “the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.” We are praying you discover daily your worth to your God.

In This Year Less is More

Less is more. Simple is wise. This year we have entered into is a great year to allow Holy Spirit to give weight to our words to help and edify people who are desperately looking for solace and solutions. We are going to find that the simplest things the Lord inspires us to say to someone are going to be the most powerful. You are the bearer of His Spirit, of His Living Word. Those words will be of the Lord and they will impact that person or persons and then they will walk away from us carrying something they did not have before we spoke the simple truth of God’s Word and God’s heart. Prayers and declarations do not have to be complicated. Just get out in the moment what needs to get into the atmosphere.  ”What I tell you in darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear, proclaim on the housetops.” (Matt.10:27)

Hallowed be Thy Name

Kathy — Hallowed be Thy name . . . (Matt.10:9). You are holy.  I venerate Your name, knowing it represents all that You are, all Your authority and character.  Father, there is no other like You, nor can anyone else be called by Your Name.

As You Go

As the people of God assemble today may they rejoice in sharing with each other inhandofgodthe good news of what Father God is doing in the lives that they are touching as they go about preaching the Kingdom of God. May the propane man, and the plumber and the A/C man and the babysitter tell others about what they experienced of a touch from God when they came into contact with each of us. “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ (Matt.10:7) “As we go” we can tell people that God’s authority, rule, government and power are at hand to meet them where they are.

The Unconventional as You go

We know a lady who got to see Father do the unconventional to redeem a life. She was trying to get a certain vacation booked for her family for spring break. She tried with three different agencies and couldn’t get it done. Finally, she got ahold of a young man with an agency in another part of the nation and began to tell him what she wanted. But suddenly she had an urge to tell the young man that she is a pastor’s daughter. He responded, “Well, I am a pastor’s son. But I haven’t been to people talking2church in years.” Then she got a word of knowledge for him. She said, “There are three things that have happened in the last three days that have been very difficult for you and the Lord wants you to know that He is working in all of them to bring about victory for you.” The young man began to weep. Our friend patiently waited for a bit and then he said, “You are not hearing nearly what I would cut loose with if I wasn’t in this office with all these people. Just this morning on the way in to work, I was sitting in traffic and just yelled out, ‘God, if You are there and You are real, You are going to have to do something to let me know!’”. He said that in the last three days his wife had told him she was leaving him, he found out that he is about to go bankrupt and he had decided to take his life. Our friend told us that she finds it interesting that Father is consistently using her more along those lines outside of the four walls of the church than He does inside them, when He used to use her more inside the four walls. Father is going to use each of us in unconventional ways in 2020. All we have to do is what Jesus instructed us to do: “AS YOU GO preach the Kingdom…” (Matt.10:7). AS WE GO we can speak and demonstrate the Kingdom of God (His rule and authority and character) to those He puts in our path as we go.

As You Go

Business People Walking on Sidewalk, New York City, New York, USA“AS YOU GO” about your Father’s business today, this week and the remainder of this year, what you accomplish will far exceed your abilities and learned knowledge. You will have delightful discoveries that your Father’s hand is working beyond your immediate awareness. You will be involved in His workings without having to launch yourself for a particular mission. He will use you and you will accomplish matters for His Kingdom “AS YOU GO”. You will accomplish more “accidentally” than the enemy will accomplish on purpose. Matt 10:7  “And AS YOU GO, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

From Failure to Future

Forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors”. . . And forgive us our debts AS we forgive our debtors.  I wonder if a healthy father-son relationship means having to continually ask for forgiveness?  I think many Christians feel this part of the prayer is a directive to always be sure we are still saved, but that is not praying as a son.  A healthy son does not continually question if he is still a part of the family.  This statement, more than a petition to be forgiven, is submission to a mature son’s discipline and training.  Forgiveness un-tethers us so our lives do not revolve around our conflicts.  Forgiveness changes our focus from failure to future.—Kathy Gabler
