This is the day the Lord has made (Ps.118:24) so…. I will rejoice and be glad and grow strong in spirit and be filled with wisdom in it. Jesus was born with purpose and so are we. From the beginning, He not only grew physically but in His spirit and in wisdom for what was to come (Lk.2:52). One of our major goals for our children in 2024 should be to see them filled with the Spirit and to train them in godly wisdom. “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him.” (Lk.2:40, Amp)

KATHY—None of us outgrow the need for identity, affirmation or boundaries. If they are met, they help us to be healthy mentally, emotionally, physically and relationally. If they are not met, they set us up for sabotage. Since none of us had a perfect family life growing up, we have all been sabotaged to some degree and had conflicts with self-image that left our self-worth in doubt, or vice versa. And we have all faced embarrassment or failure regarding our self-government. So, it is no private scar since everyone’s mirror (self-image) gets whacked in life. Sometimes it is even our own doing; but how we respond after the fact is the crucial matter. If we continue to only look at a cracked reflection, a marred, fragmented person; that will keep us from agreeing with the way God sees us and keep us from lining up with God’s intentions for our life and future.

MELISSA — Let’s look at “Call to me and I will answer you” through a modern American paradigm: I call on the Lord and He will answer – I will tell Him what I need and He will give it to me because He is a loving God. You know, kind of like curbside grocery delivery. I took the time to get my list together and I took the time to call about this list. Now, it’s on Him to deliver! I’m afraid we North Americans operate out of an entitled mindset not only in our relationship with earthlings, but also in our relationship with God. If I call on Him then ________ (insert pre-determined answer here). The problem with an entitled relationship with God is where the entitlement is rooted. If it is rooted in the Spirit, according to the covenant, then it will put you in a posture of dominion. If, however, it is rooted in the soul then it will hold you in a victimized defensive posture. The soul will keep you chained out of reach of God’s original intent which is indeed dominion. Or said another way, the soul will keep you from being heaven on earth. KATHY—Self-to-Self dreams can clean house by flashing scenes from our life into dreams so we can gather and toss “thought-clutter” and have a clean start the next day. Scientists and doctors have proven these kind of dreams are a nightly reset that de-clutters the mind and de-stresses the mind. Since stress is the starting point for many, if not most health issues, the ability to dream self-to-self is healthy. The Hebrew word for dream is chalam (khay lem), which means to strengthen or restore to health or facilitate recovery. Any way you look at it, dreaming is a blessing from the Lord. Even nightmares or upsetting dreams or bizarro dreams can be a positive because they bring things stored in our core closet out to the living room where we can be aware of them and we can confront them for relief or resolve. The Kingdom of God is not just something we put on the list of “Things I Believe In,” but it is action–action in us and through us. The government of God (The Kingdom) is exercised through sons/daughters. It is somewhat like when James, in his epistle, 
said, “There are people going around talking about what faith they have. I will show you my faith by my works.” (Js.2:18) There were evidently people just wanting to impress others by merely talking about their belief concerning faith. Reading about faith in the Bible like the way James spoke of it and observing faith leads me to the conclusion that it might best be described as a verb (action) rather than a noun (person, place or thing). Just so, the Kingdom of God is best described as a verb (action) rather than as a noun. The Kingdom of God is the King acting through His authorized agents who release His governmental power in their sphere of authority.

(Jim Hodges)—The devil offered Jesus the kingdoms of this world in the wilderness. It is my conviction that Christ began to take on those kingdoms before the cross. He took them on in the 
wilderness of Judea and won the victory there. He then celebrated the victory in the garden near Golgotha. The whole ministry of Jesus is to transform a wilderness into a garden. The Bible began in a garden and ends in a garden-like city. When the devil told Jesus in the wilderness that he would give Him the kingdoms of this world Jesus, of course, would not bow to him. He defeated the devil in the desert as the Son of Man because He did not use deity powers to do so. That gives us hope of overcoming the devil also. On the cross, Jesus legally, judicially and covenantally stripped Satan of all his authority and made an open show of his being defeated. (JIM HODGES is speaking at Kingdom Congress 2019.) (Kathy Gabler)—That “BID me COME” is in the heart of all of us. It is deep calling unto deep and JESUS is saying to us too, “COME ON!” There is no need for us to live a watered-down version of what God had in mind for our lifetime. We don’t have to leave a wimpy, skimpy heritage. Fear may hold us in the boat and tempt us to refuse the dominion mandate, but there is a stronger force at work in us. There is a heart’s cry, “Lord, BID me COME.” We may consider just stepping back from sonship and dominion because we have not seen it or lived it vividly yet, but dominion is not about being an experienced son, it is about being an obedient son. There will be times in all of us that the cry of “BID me COME” stirs in our breast and we have a choice to respond to the Lord’s, “Come on.” (KATHY GABLER is speaking at Kingdom Congress 2019. (LARRY BURDEN)— The Passover was also important to Jesus because a divine shift was coming to the disciples in their relationship with the Father. In John 15: 15, Jesus told His disciples, “No 
longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you”. The terminology identified a relational shift from that of servant-master to one of son-father. Up to the night of the Passover, the relationship of the disciples to Jesus had been strictly business. However, after the Passover meal, that changed! In the new covenant, the disciples were no longer held by the Father as servants, but sons! That night was a divine appointment that had been in the making before the beginning of time! (LARRY BURDEN is speaking at Kingdom Congress 2019.)

While interviewing the great frontiersman, Daniel Boone, a reporter asked him, “Mr. Boone, have you ever been lost?” To which he replied, “Well, I was once bewildered for four days but I’ve never been lost.” At first, that sounds quite humorous but, in fact, it is a statement of some certainty. For an experienced explorer like Boone, it would be next to impossible for him to actually be lost in the truest since because he was a man of resource, initiative and skill. It didn’t matter in what area of wilderness or frontier he found himself, he still had the confidence of his skills and wilderness survival knowledge. It didn’t matter if it was winter, summer, spring or fall. It made no difference if he was in mountains, prairies or swamps, his knowledge, experience and skills served to keep him alive and on a correct heading. North was still north and south was still south and that will never change. He knew what to do in any season or location and, in spite of bears and weather hazards he had to deal with on numerous occasions, he lived to tell the story time and again.

(Kathy Gabler)—That “BID me COME” is in the heart of all of us. It is deep calling unto deep and JESUS is saying to us too, “COME ON!” There is no need for us to live a watered-down version of what God had in mind for our lifetime. We don’t have to leave a wimpy, skimpy heritage. Fear may hold us in the boat and tempt us to refuse the dominion mandate, but there is a stronger force at work in us. There is a heart’s cry, “Lord, BID me COME.” We may consider just stepping back from sonship and dominion because we have not seen it or lived it vividly yet, but dominion is not about being an experienced son, it is about being an obedient son. There will be times in all of us that the cry of “BID me COME” stirs in our breast and we have a choice to respond to the Lord’s, “Come on.” (KATHY GABLER is speaking at Kingdom Congress 2019. longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you”. The terminology identified a relational shift from that of servant-master to one of son-father. Up to the night of the Passover, the relationship of the disciples to Jesus had been strictly business. However, after the Passover meal, that changed! In the new covenant, the disciples were no longer held by the Father as servants, but sons!
