The hand of God is moving. Recently, as I was praying about all the predictions, estimations and concerns coming in over the internet I had a vision of a hand moving and very active. It was moving people from one location to another. It was moving money and buildings and equipment here and there. As I watched this busy hand I realized that a veil was beginning to form between the busy hand and myself. Finally I could not see anything the hand was doing. The Lord spoke to my heart that the reason so many of His people are losing heart is because their fears and despair have formed a curtain between them and what His hand is doing. His hand is still moving and working but we can’t see it because of what we have allowed in the forefront of our thoughts and considerations.
(Melissa Gabler) — We can ask the right kind of questions that lead down a path of deliverance, healing, and action. When we ask the right questions we are able to hear the answers we need. When we ask fear-based questions we have already come to the wrong, statistic-based, society-experienced conclusions. These soulish conclusions make it really hard to hear a Spirit answer. So, a good place to start asking the right question is to ask the Holy Spirit, “What questions should I be asking about this situation?” He will tell you, and most of the time these questions carry the answer in them. The right questions are a key to unlock doors and chains. The right questions give you the right perspective.
Kathy—Genesis 40:8 says, “It is God who gives the ability to interpret dreams.” I grew up thinking that interpreting dreams was a specialized gift and a calling that God only gave to certain people, but the scripture doesn’t really say that. When we consider Daniel and Joseph, we find that they pursued wisdom. They knew that God had answers and they were confident they could go to God to enlighten them, (and they both said as much.) We too can go to God and ask for wisdom and understanding, and we know that God can release a gift of His Spirit that opens understanding with a word of wisdom or a word of knowledge or discernment or prophecy, etc. So, I’m beginning to realize that pursuing God’s wisdom and understanding is more the heart of interpretation than seeing it as a specialized or rare gift.
Melissa — We don’t get to determine what the answer must be when we call on God Almighty. That kind of determination is a prescription for indigestion. Why? Because we are working from a very limited soul-perspective of the situation with even more limited soul-solutions. This kind of limitation focuses on the impossible rather than the God of the impossible. He not only sees the problem, but where it came from (possibly from entitlement mindsets passed on through the bloodline?) and He sees the best solution for the complete fix. That right there is the kind of “great and mighty” answer we are truly looking for.
What we need more than better politicians is an awakening (at least) move of God… in the Church, then the nation. God will never share, with mere political parties, the power He has designed to be exercised through the Church. In “God and Politics” Dennis Lindsey says, “Politicians are not to be looked to for complete social reform… The Church has been losing influence in America because it has been relying on politics to stop the moral and spiritual decay in society. Politics will not catalyze the change; it is simply a reflection of the environment. If the environment is rooted in Christian values, the politics of America will be rooted in Christian values… The spiritual revival and renewal of Christian faith needed in America will never originate from Washington. Once the spiritual climate changes, Washington will be changed. If the American Church thinks her salvation […] comes from Washington and a God-fearing president, then her hope is rooted in a counterfeit… God’s Church is not dependent on elections; it is dependent upon His Word, which declares, ‘… I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’” (Matt 16:18)1 If we are not careful, we can just get to looking around and saying, “‘Such and such’ is what’s going on” and forget that God is at work.
DREAMS VISIONS PROPHECY 2021 is Sept.10-12.
Melissa — As of late my meditation topic has been Trust. You know: “reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.” It should be a natural byproduct of being a believer. I thought so until God asked me if I trusted Him. Of course… wait, do I?! That’s an answer I thought was sure at this point in my life. The amazing thing is in that moment, trust made sense for the first time. All of a sudden there was a relief in my core that I’m not sure I have ever felt. Without Him saying a word, there was an understanding that actually trusting God meant to actually let go of needing to know the process of getting to an answer.

Melissa — Last year was a year of getting the tools needed for the tool belt. It was a year of starting to ask the wise, right questions instead of the fear-driven questions. A fear-driven question already has an answer in mind and can’t hear anything but that. A wise question is open to hear truth. Asking those wise questions last year always got an answer. A lot of answers were personal things that needed to be dealt with in me. This even led me to go on a fear fast (that has not ended)!
Have you noticed the myriad of challenges in current events that seem to have no solution? Have you wondered if there are any answers to the dilemmas you wrestle with in your life? As you face the unknown factors of challenges ahead of you, may your ears and eyes be opened to discover that there are still possibilities in God for solutions that no one has ever considered. May you go toward those challenges speaking in agreement with the creative acts of God in the Bible and in the earth. Let’s imitate Abraham: (Rom.4:17, Msg) “…[Abraham] dared to trust God to do what only God could do: … with a word make something out of nothing.” We are praying you discover daily the possibilities and solutions in the risen Christ.
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high! May He send you help from the sanctuary and support you from Zion! May he remember all… your offerings. May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your counsel! We will sing for joy over your victory, and… set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. (Ps.20:1-5)
Have you ever had times when a revelatory nugget pops up, then within days you hear the same nugget from other sources? That’s been happening as of late and I’m learning to pay attention to those! Following is one such instance that has been not only ringing in my ear, but answering some of those seemingly unanswerable questions.
While in conversation this was quoted to me from a book, “God hides some things for specific times so that the enemy cannot destroy them.” That stuck with me, and a couple of days later I read a quote from some- one else that was expressing the exact same thought! Well, that really hit me between the eyes, especially because these came from trusted sources. It was an “Are you listening?” moment.
I began meditating on God hiding something for a specific time, and it felt like this statement began filling cracks in my understanding. If God cloaks something for a time, it is not only to hide it from the devil and his destructive minions, but it is also to hide it from our own self sabotage. Yes, the devil and self-sabotage are two different things. However, the devil LOVES stoking the flames of self sabotage! All we have to do is let our fears and concerns fall out of our mouths like kindling for the enemy’s threatening bonfire. So many times we make the devil’s job so easy.

(Melissa) Now, here is where the “God cloaked answer” comes in. If I would have been healed immediately, I would have sabotaged my healing. I say that because just two weeks ago I was asking the Lord what do I need to know today about this, and as plain as day I heard, “You have a fear of relapse.” OH MY! He absolutely hit that one dead center! That little stinker has had its claws in so many areas of my life. Now, it no longer does. That fear will not sabotage the answer.

In time to come, may we live differently with different results than we have lived in times past. May our homes and work environment be filled with different conversation in times to come—different because we are no longer discussing threats and defeats but hopes and victories. May our homes be fuller in the coming year—full of the things we have needed, full of evidences of victories and full of love and good, productive fellowship. May our homes be filled with new language in this new year—the language of finance and prosperity, the language of health and the language of wise counsel given and heeded. May this coming year look totally different as we look back on it than any year prior has looked. May we say that it had the look of answers, resolve and fulfillment.

When things begin to stack up on top of each other and a sense of panic begins trying to creep in, I think many of us have either jumped into a get-it-solved-by-any-means mode or have fallen back into a can’t-do-anything-about-it-so-why-try mode. But in spite of the temptation to feel that He, who could do something about all of it immediately, has (“for some reason”) just chosen to add one more thing to our load, we will look expectantly for relief. Relief is on its way.
“Don’t add to my troubles. Give me some relief!” (Jer.17:17, Msg)
