Kathy — Our names are written in the Book of Life. It’s not just a list of names. Our names are written in several chapters of God’s plans. Maybe your part is to raise a daughter who will be a godly influence in a school system or to build a moral stronghold in the business community or to encourage righteous politics in ten families by 2024. You might be an encourager that God will use in a 1000 different settings. Rev.3:5,TPT — “And the one who experiences victory will be dressed in white robes and I will never, no never erase your name from the Book of Life. I will acknowledge your name before my Father and his angels.”
Melissa — How do you know if what you are hearing is God? Well, does it line up with His word? For instance, murder and adultery… not God! Also, He trains you to hear Him. “The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them.” (Proverbs 2:12) Sometimes we train ourselves to ignore the prophetic lifestyle because we don’t want to be weird. This really is an epic life we are meant to live — not fairytale or fantasy, but epic. Why epic? Unlike fairytale or fantasy that denote magic, rainbows and butterflies, and other-worldly superhumans, “epic” denotes work, grit, fight, humans living their destiny and winning. So, don’t ignore His training. Don’t ignore that relationship.
“Sanctify” means “separate yourself.” Get rid of the things that are extra, added weight. Get rid of the things that are not the image of Christ. Let go of attitudes that don’t fit Kingdom thinking. Elders, deacons, bishops and presbyters won’t be able to help you on this one because none of us have been this way before. (Cf. Josh 10:14 and there was no day like that before it or after it.) I heard a conference speaker say, “The Lord of life leaves enough mystery to be intrusive, disruptive and surprising in order that He might shatter our tendencies to predictability; and yes even boredom. Saints die of many things but to die of boredom is an insult to the God of an ever-expanding glory.” Though some of us desperately long for the routine of our lives to be radically changed we are disturbed and consequently resistant when confronted with the acts of God’s power which are required to change them. In order for God Almighty to radically change the present state of our lives, for Him to bring reformation to our nation we must allow Him to forcefully break in upon us. Nahum 1:3— “…the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind” (Nahum 1:3). That means that we will not escape the Whirlwind.

As the people of God assemble today may their eyes open even wider to the wonders of their God and to His plans in this earth and to His grace that enables His sons and daughters to overcome and reign in life. Rom.5:17, TPT — “Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah!”
Melissa — Ah, life! One minute everything is cruising right along, we’re on top of the world creating Facebook pages, writing books and making T-shirts to declare our life message to the world. The next thing you know… straight down at 100mph. Stinking roller coasters! They click right along at a nice pace and there is usually a great view to behold, then all of a sudden your stomach is in your throat. There was never a promise that life would be smooth sailing and easy. “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” James 1:2-4 (MSG) The ebbs and flows of a God-centered life are required for God’s original intent to take form.
Isa.17:5 paints a picture of reapers gathering corn and their arms gathering the ears and gleaning ears of grain. The corn, the harvest (souls, Father God’s purposes in the earth) has not stopped growing nor shall it stop growing. That means that there must be reapers and arms to gather it in. The grain grows until the time of harvest and there are reapers who are anticipating and prepared to gather it in. The grain does not harvest itself. There must be reapers, gatherers who are willing to go out into the fields and gather it in lest it be wasted. Jesus told His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few” (Matt.9:37). There is no question as to whether or not there is a harvest. Jesus is the Lord of the harvest, so can you imagine the vastness of the harvest to be gathered in? It is Father’s good, acceptable and perfect will for His people to “gather a fruitful harvest”Ps.107:37, NASB — “And sow fields and plant vineyards, And gather a fruitful harvest.”
As the people of God assemble today let us agree and pray to see the vision of our Holy Father God for our nation to come to pass by His mighty hand of intervention and by His awakening of His people to His faithfulness and to the verity of His Word and never-failing promises. Hab.2:3, Amp — “For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.”
There is an average of 800 kernels on an ear of corn. It can vary all the way up to 1200 per ear and there can be 2-4 ears per stalk. That is a lot of corn! There is a harvest that is still growing and maturing. A few months ago as I drove through Central Texas I saw thousands of acres of corn growing and I was amazed at the number of stalks and ears that were showing growth day by day. I was on the go, driving down a rural highway and praying about what is going on in our communities and our churches and how it is all being so affected by the fear, the riots, violence, rules and shutdowns. We have spoken with a number of church leaders and church people and so many of them are pre-occupied with it all that they find it difficult to put any thought or effort into advancing the Kingdom. The Lord is still on the throne and still at work on the harvest He desires in the earth. His plan is still in tact. He didn’t suddenly see some of the things on the news and say, “Oh, wow, I really didn’t plan well” or “Maybe I better change some of my plans because present circumstances will not willingly yield up the results I had hoped for” or “Maybe it would be best to just wait awhile”. The corn in those huge fields did not stop growing when the first violent, law-breaker rioters began destroying property and lives. It kept growing. No combination of events or national crises will stop the Lord’s harvest from growing.
Kathy —As big as Goliath was, his greatest strength lay not in his muscles but in his schemes (sounds like a present-day, ongoing face-off if you ask me).Today we are facing a more sophisticated monster with many mouths. Nevertheless, like Goliath, this monster has stood on the battlefield, arrayed in armor that implied its own success and presumed to set the parameters for battle. A giant’s voice launched an attack on the ear, the mind and the heart of the hearers (as has the voice of the monster’s fake media). The voice appealed to reason and logic, to narrow everyone’s thinking down to a dark, one-sided agenda. For 40 days, twice daily, Goliath challenged Israel to be “reasonable” and believe that he had thought things out and was offering the best scenario for all concerned. Are we talking giants, monsters or politicians or all of the above? (Did I mention bullies lie?) Daily the giant and monster were convincing them that the outcome was a given so they might as well just suck it up, get it over with and walk into slavery, (with the least bloodshed possible, especially on their side.) Bullies will threaten and intimidate with brute strength or accusation or blackmail or logic or sentiment or an edge of superiority (in knowledge, intellect, reason, information, experience, wealth, age, etc.). An experienced bully can even swing to the other end of the spectrum and use his own neediness or weaknesses or lack of self-worth to manipulate people and events. In fact, a cunning bully can make a weapon of most anything. For example, he can condemn someone into action by manipulating their “sense of responsibility”. Then he can twist his own “sense of responsibility” to justify his brutal or selfish behavior. The bottom line is that an established bully intends to be king of the mountain . . . at any cost. Deut.31:6, Amp — “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.”
Melissa — It’s time for Change-Agents to wake up and be Heaven on earth. WE can do this because it’s “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6) What is a heavenly Change-Agent? It’s one who makes a difference wherever they are because they carry Heaven in them. When I say Heaven, I mean one who carries the original intent of God wherever they go. What is God’s original intent? Heaven on earth, a Kingdom without end (Luke 1:31-33). The difference between our Change-Agents and the ones making the news right now is that we cause life, healing, peace, hope, restoration—not death and destruction!
Kathy — “Isaacs” are positioned by God, undeniably and undefiably. “Isaacs” prevail over circumstances, impossible odds and even nature to thrive in God’s plans. Isaacs rise out of disappointment and dismay for His Name’s Sake. “Isaacs,” whether they are events or relationships or awesome changes or resources, are hidden away by God to be honed, groomed and equipped for timely manifestation. Gen.18:14, Amp — “Is anything too difficult or TOO WONDERFUL for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son.”
Melissa — I was having a discussion with a friend the other day about seeing demonic things and how it’s so unnerving. We were discussing how to deal with it and basically how to prepare for the next time it happens. As we are talking this out I start to realize something. I grew up seeing things like this, and I grew up hearing about others in the church dealing with these things. There has been more talk throughout my life of dark encounters than of encounters with the Kingdom realm. I realize part of that is because it has been taboo to talk about angels too much because “we don’t want to get into angel worship”. Well, that backfired! The fear of worshiping angels has led to entertaining demons, and the base of all of this is fear. It boils down to fearing everything else and not the Lord. Either we are bowing our knee in fear of the darkness or in fear/reverence of God and His Kingdom. We are meant to deal with the demonic and entertain angels. We partner with angels not worship them.
I see that! When we hear something or read something and say “I see that” are we “seeing” only in the sense of ocular recognition or mental consent or are we seeing in the sense of perception for the purpose of application? Does that simply mean that we can see that they have stated a truth or does it actually mean that we can see the value of that truth for our lives and others and are willing to act on it? Prov.1:1-4 (21st CKJV) ”The Proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel: 2 to know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 to receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgment, and equity; 4 to give subtlety to the simple, and to the young man knowledge and discretion.”
Melissa — This passage is a perfect tool for this time: Proverbs 2:3-6, “make your ear attentive to wisdom and incline your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;” Ask for insight and understanding and you will begin to awaken to the fear of the Lord. Then you will understand how to navigate through what is at hand and what is to come. This is our opportunity to demonstrate the Kingdom of God and leave an effectual legacy centered in the fear of the Lord. I’ve heard so many times over the last couple of years that revival is coming. Kathy — Being quick to put our expectations and definitions on a word from God can set us up for disappointment because we know in part. We must allow God to define terms and add parts. Through the process we more fully understand what He said up front. So, no matter how contradictory or upsetting a part might seem, we can rest assured when all the parts finally come together, God’s intent and purpose will prevail. Isa.46:10, TPT — “I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened. Melissa — Do you see what’s happening? The current bombardment we are experiencing is an undeniable wake-up call. We are being harassed with fears of everything from never being able to leave the house because of sickness, to kids never going to school again, to riots, to being fined for absurd restrictions, to being arrested for protecting ourselves. These are fear tactics that are trying to back us into a corner God never intended us to occupy. These fear tactics are driven by darkness and darkness uses fear as a means of control. We have been under the influence of darkness for years, probably centuries, and it has caused a sleep to fall over God’s people. The enemy is trying to keep us asleep so we will not take our rightful place of dominion over his evil agenda. We have to choose to either fear God and wake up or fear everything else and stay in a coma, and making the right choice will involve fighting and enduring. Since this coma-causing darkness has been around way longer than any of us have been alive, it’s not giving up easily. The battle for awakening is intense and nowhere near over. You might as well batten down your hatches for at least the rest of the year, but you can be sure it will be worth it.
