Before the fall, man was God-conscious and obedient to God. After the fall, man was 
self-conscious and running his own life. Receiving Christ and His government means I no longer run my own life. Apostolic doctrine lays a foundation of Christ in your life (Gal 1:4, “according to the will of our God and Father”), until you are not the focus of your life and you are free of the generation’s perverted and twisted thinking and pressure of being self-conscious. Galatians 1:4 does not say He forgave my sins so I would go to heaven when I die. It is part of the package to have a greater experience with Jesus when we die, but the Gospel of the Kingdom is that our lives have been part of a twisted, perverted, crooked thinking generation and the gospel confronts those mindsets to deliver us out of them. What is our part in this next season? Awareness. We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this.

The most notable apostle in the New Testament said that his goal was to get people to the image of Christ. Our goal is to stop the groaning, not to lay blame for the groaning, not even to come up with programs to handle the groaning. Blame has been laid at the feet of politicians, entertainers and legislators. Perhaps it is time we moved into the image of Christ, demonstrate the risen Christ and stop the groaning. That groan came from God. God put that groaning in creation because He had sons on the way who He would dwell in, who would be the solution to the groaning.

In 2017 worship will become lifestyle. (Kid’s Declaration: 7. We will live to worship everywhere, everyday.) Worship, living for God and fear of God will become more than just a Sunday, church activity. It will become the lifestyle of families. Families will take Communion together. Parents and children will not only attempt worship activity at church, acting righteously at church, fearing God in His presence at church but in the home, in family activities, conversations and celebrations. “trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him—your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].” (Eph.5:10, Amp)

Life’s battles do not intensify just because the devil gets mad or has a personal grudge. No, the battle heats up by reason of the needed outcome. As surely as heat can determine the strength of a weld, so does the intensity of battle establish the strength and longevity of the victory. The vehemence of battle welds the outcome in undeniable purpose rather than just leaving us with fragmented memories of war. Heat is one of the components of long-term victory and intense battle yields intensely awesome results! (Kathy)

You know that “Sleeping Giant” we’ve been talking about for a while? Well, it’s name is “No More”, and it woke up in the latter half of last year. No more victims for Christ. No more victimized churches. 2017 will see God’s original intent realized in many areas.

(Melissa) 2017: The Game Changer — While getting ready this morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Take this year one week at a time.” I found that very interesting. I kept wanting to make it one “day” at a time, but He didn’t say that! This is not about making plans for the year. This is in regard to day after day life. Particularly those things that have run their course and seemed delayed. That which needs clarity and resolve. Take it week by week. Take a deep breath, stand tall, and show this week who has the last word. Then, all of a sudden, things will change!

KG — If you are battle-weary, I believe the new year, 2017, will bring welcome changes. I’m not implying battles will stop suddenly and everybody goes on vacation. I’m saying many long-term battles will end because you finally win. “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around” (MSG, Pro 13:12). I expect some sudden good breaks in the year to come.

What is our part in this next season? Awareness. We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this.
The most notable apostle in the New Testament said that his goal was to get people to the image of Christ. Our goal is to stop the groaning, not to lay blame for the groaning, not even to come up with programs to handle the groaning. Blame has been laid at the feet of politicians, entertainers and legislators. Perhaps it is time we moved into the image of Christ, demonstrate the risen Christ and stop the groaning. That groan came from God. God put that groaning in creation because He had sons on the way who He would dwell in, who would be the solution to the groaning.

In 2017 worship will become lifestyle. (Kid’s Declaration: 7. We will live to worship everywhere, everyday.) Worship, living for God and fear of God will become more than just a Sunday, church activity. It will become the lifestyle of families. Families will take Communion together. Parents and children will not only attempt worship activity at church, acting righteously at church, fearing God in His presence at church but in the home, in family activities, conversations and celebrations. “trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him—your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].” (Eph.5:10, Amp)
Life’s battles do not intensify just because the devil gets mad or has a personal grudge. No, the battle heats up by reason of the needed outcome. As surely as heat can determine the strength of a weld, so does the intensity of battle establish the strength and longevity of the victory. The vehemence of battle welds the outcome in undeniable purpose rather than just leaving us with fragmented memories of war. Heat is one of the components of long-term victory and intense battle yields intensely awesome results! (Kathy)
In 2017 you will be reminded of potential in people. Kid’s Declaration: 2. People are awesome and God will help us see that. Looking beyond their faults, our eyes will be opened to their potential. We will be enabled to do that by Holy Spirit, by compassion of Christ; that means we will have to lean on Him for that. We will become aware of potential in them that we were not previously aware of. We will speak to that potential, we will have words of wisdom for them, words of release that will propel them into potential. ”Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.”(Eph.4:2, Living Bible) 
Things you have had to dig your way out of in the past, you will just step out of this year. Kid’s Declaration: 1. (Melissa) 2017: The Game Changer #5 — What a great, great year to be alive! We GET to not only see the shift, we get to BE the shift. Yes, the glory of God is going to be not only seen, but known. And it’s not because things just got that bad, it’s because things and people (this includes you) are now in place for undeniable God elements. Get ready.
As the people of God seek His face today may those whose hearts are heavy from failures, defeats and grief of the past lift their heads, get a deep breath and realize that they are part of the family of God and that they have strength and fellowship through Christ our Lord and the family of God to go on to victories in the coming days.
(Melissa) 2017: The Game Changer — While getting ready this morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Take this year one week at a time.” I found that very interesting. I kept wanting to make it one “day” at a time, but He didn’t say that! This is not about making plans for the year. This is in regard to day after day life. Particularly those things that have run their course and seemed delayed. That which needs clarity and resolve. Take it week by week. Take a deep breath, stand tall, and show this week who has the last word. Then, all of a sudden, things will change!
KG — If you are battle-weary, I believe the new year, 2017, will bring welcome changes. I’m not implying battles will stop suddenly and everybody goes on vacation. I’m saying many long-term battles will end because you finally win. “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around” (MSG, Pro 13:12). I expect some sudden good breaks in the year to come.
