Melissa — A definite “game-changer” in the coming days and challenges of 2021 is Miracles, Signs and Wonders. Just get ready for these to become the norm. And get ready to be the gate through which they come. What you have been in training to release will become obvious this year.
News services are using their valuable air time and print space reporting on Christians declaring the end of the world. Christians have said time and time again throughout my lifetime (more than six decades) that no generation has seen things worse than they are now, and it is now the end of the world and the coming of the Lord. They have looked up into the sky and in every corner of the globe seeking all manner of natural signs to confirm their suspicions (Gal.4:9-11). Yet, I find it interesting that not one time have I heard anyone say that no generation of Christians has ever been more like Jesus than this generation (even after all the years and all the centuries of church attendance and flocking to revival meetings and observing the stars and dispensational charts). Amos has a great suggestion: “SEEK HIM that maketh the seven stars and Orion… THE LORD IS HIS NAME:” (Amos 5:8, KJV; also v.4-“Seek Me, and live!”) Could it be that Amos would rather have us take valuable time and effort we are using to seek signs and actually use it to SEEK THE LORD Himself?
“Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, Who dwells on Mount Zion.” (Isa.8:18, NASB) A sign is something that points to something greater than itself. The sign is never the focus but that which it represents. Isaiah’s children and their names were an ongoing message (a sign) to the nation of Israel. Jehovah was attempting to move His resolve and provision from heaven into the earth in Israel by giving Israel a sign through living, breathing members of their community. Sons of God are still signs in the earth of answers that are in heaven and ready to be moved into earth.
God reveals Himself in truth. We are not only to recite truth but we are to experience truth. The truth is that GOD IS AWESOME, that He is great and greatly to be praised. What better way to praise ALMIGHTY GOD than to praise Him with our very lives – spirit, soul AND body. What about the importance of the Word? He promised that He would confirm His Word with signs following (Mk.16:20). He didn’t just talk about the power of His Word. He showed what the power of His Word would do! “The things that distinguish a true apostle were performed among you with great perseverance—supernatural signs, startling wonders, and awesome miracles.” (2Cor.12:12,TPT)
“They” are still saying, “That was then but this is now. What God did then, doesn’t happen now.” Jesus preached to 5,000 at one time. Reinhard Bonnke preaches to hundreds of thousands at a time. In one service, entire cities are accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. On one island in the South Pacific, the king and his prime minister help oversee Gospel ministries and the training of ministers which are being sent to Europe. Those who say “that was then but this is now” don’t really mind quoting the old hymn which speaks of God having worked in “mysterious ways, His wonders to perform” but they are not inclined to trust Him to work in mysterious ways now. However, God is working in mysterious ways and performing wonders quite out of the ordinary in the earth, in this hour. In this hour God will have a supernatural people who are no strangers to His supernatural ways.
As the people of God assemble today, may their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be the focus of every heart and mind. May His praises be made glorious and may the Spirit of Christ flood each and every one with His enabling power to the glory of the Name that is above every name, JESUS. ”Who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Ex.15:11, KJ21)

Signs And Wonders (Kathy Gabler)
The words translated miracle or sign or wonder are, for the most part, interchangeable in the Bible. A working definition is: displays of the supernatural in this natural realm.
That is encouraging in one way because that implies one reason we don’t see signs and wonders is because we don’t SEE them, even though they are on-going. How many of the 5000 plus that were eating on the hillside realized their lunch was a miracle? I’m thinking a good percentage didn’t have a clue! How many thousands of people saw the same star as the three kings, but didn’t know it was a sign and a wonder? When David saw Goliath, he wasn’t looking for a miracle! He was just looking for a rock! However, there were miracles (plural) in the mix that day, beyond the anointed impact of a rock from a sling. The whole scene was a miracle of timing, circumstance and possibly Goliath choosing the wrong helmet that day! Someone who is trained in CPR can easily fail to see the miracle of being in the right place at the right time to participate in the intervention of God in a situation. Isaiah 20:3, calls it a sign and wonder that Isaiah walked naked and barefoot for three years. I’m just not so sure his wife called that a sign and wonder!
