KATHY–God uses dreams and visions to give insight into situations: My aunt dreamed she saw a car on a highway. The fog was so dense around it that she could barely see its headlights. She woke up abruptly, startled and concerned. Suddenly she remembered Marty and I were out of town in a meeting; so she began to pray. Later that night we made it home but crept along the last few miles, the alternator going out and our lights going dimmer by the mile. God woke her to usher in deliverance even before the alternator began to fail. Like a Word of Knowledge says God is intervening, giving supernatural insight because He is ready to act, likewise a dream or vision mandate, says He is ready to act; so mustering faith and praying is no problem!
Kathy—God can communicate matters to us in a dream. If you have to search for understanding, He will make it worth the effort. Thankfully, there will also be times that Father accelerates our understanding with a gift of the Spirit, (a word of wisdom from 1Cor. 12), and the symbols and the meaning of the dream just become clear!That’s exactly what happened the first time I interpreted a dream.It happened at the breakfast table when I suddenly understood Marty’s dream.I had no idea that was a “word of wisdom” in operation.All I knew was that God had finally answered my years of prayer to be like Joseph, Daniel and my Great Grandpa who were able to interpret dreams.
May the Lord give you many heads-up notices about what is “coming down the pike” in the days ahead. May you be prepared at all levels by His leading, wisdom, impressions, inklings and words of knowledge.Jer.33:3,NLT—“Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” Prov.4:24-27,TheVoice—“Keep your head up, your eyes straight ahead, and your focus fixed on what is in front of you.26 Take care you don’t stray from the straight path, the way of truth, and you will safely reach the end of your road.27 Do not veer off course to the right or the left; step away from evil, and leave it behind.”
On occasion, we come across people who talk as though God can heal one thing they are dealing with but He won’t or simply isn’t interested in healing the other things they are suffering from. In one service, a lady walked up afterward and pretty much communicated that she felt a little frustrated because she felt she had to choose one of several physical needs that had been mentioned in words of knowledge (as though one is all she could have). Recently I ministered three or four words of knowledge in a Sunday service. Monday afternoon the pastor called Kathy and told her that she had received an overhaul in her body in the service. She had been suffering from all of the physical issues mentioned in the words of knowledge that morning. Now she was free of pain and was able to move limbs that had been hindered before. The month of SEPTEMBER IS FOR TUNING IN. We will be tuning in to Holy Spirit’s frequency to pray more efficiently and to discern and to release words of knowledge and words of wisdom and counsel. We will be able to tune in because storms of life are passing that have, heretofore, interrupted communication from Father’s heart to ours. We will discover that Father is always attempting to redemptively communicate with us and that we are most welcome to tune in to His frequency of peace and wisdom. (Prov.4:20, Msg) ”…listen well to my words; tune your ears to my voice.”
