Each of us is part of something bigger than ourselves. That is why Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ arms. There is one man in the universe that God recognizes: the many-membered Man Christ Jesus. All of our relationships are subject to that premiere fact. 1Cor.12:20 “…now there are many members yet one body…”
Thankfully, there will also be times that Father accelerates our understanding with a gift of the Spirit, (e.g., a word of wisdom – 1Cor 12), and the symbols and the meaning of the dream just become clear! That’s exactly what happened the first time I interpreted a dream. It happened at the breakfast table when I suddenly understood Marty’s dream. I had no idea that was a “word of wisdom” in operation. All I knew was that God had finally answered my years of prayer to be like Joseph, Daniel and my Great Grandpa who were able to interpret dreams. —Kathy Gabler
Limitations bring groaning, despair and hopelessness. There is a better way to live. “Thy Kingdom come.” We must get the conduct and relationships of heaven into this earth. The fruit of the Spirit (Gal.5:22-25) manifests the conduct and relationships of heaven. We must get the power and benefits of heaven into this earth. The gifts of the Spirit (1Co.12:7-11) manifest the power of heaven over our limitations.
This will be a year of being refreshed by the gifts of the Spirit even more than in past years. Kid’s Version: We will share our gifts like never before. This year is time to be refreshed in the enabling of the gifts of the Spirit to minister to others and to be refreshed by the gifts ministered to us. When believers gather, it will be a gift exchange. 1Cor.12:4-7, NASB “Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”

As the people of God assemble today, may they be strengthened, encouraged, equipped and comforted by the gifts of Christ (Eph.4:11-12) and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1Cor.14:3) for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
