Trust is a Principle of the Kingdom

MELISSA GABLER—Trust is a principle of the Kingdom.  God knew what He was doing when He created it.  It’s life-bearing, abundant-life-bearing. How beautiful it is that the principles of God are set in place to provide the John 10:10 abundant life for all who live them.  He gave us a map for life.  Check this out, Psalm 84:12 (AMP) “O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation].” Yes, that is beautiful.  But check out the rest of Psalm 84. It literally lines out what a life looks like that trusts God. Vs. 4 “Blessed and greatly favored are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; They will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah.”

Become Aware of Fear in Your Life

MELISSA GABLER— Hey, you can fast fear! It’s true! Set your mind to it and watch how aware you become of fear in your life.  It’s amazing how interwoven that stinker is.  But when you become aware, you can do something about it.  You can take your rightful place in the driver’s seat by forcing fear out.  Ask the Holy Spirit to point it out, then you replace it with truth.  You replace fear with God’s original intent for your life, thoughts of peace to give you an expected end (Jer. 29:11).  This is not necessarily an overnight change, it takes time.  It’s a process well worth it, but you can still be an agent of change in the middle of your process.  How? By listening to the Father and doing/saying what He tells you.  Ps.56:3-4,TPT–” But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you and trust in you with all my heart. 4 What harm could a man bring to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. The roaring praises of God fill my heart as I trust his promises.

Keep the Door Open to Dwell in His Presence

MELISSA GABLER–Trust keeps the door open to dwell in His presence. We stay around those we trust. Ps.84:11 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Trust is the gateway to God’s intentions for us, equipping, protection, grace, favor and all good things. It makes sense that the summation of this Psalm is, “O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You.” On top of being born to trust, these are compelling reasons to do so.

Trust

Melissa Gabler—As of late my meditation topic has been Trust.  You know: “reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.”   It should be a natural byproduct of being a believer. I thought so until God asked me if I trusted Him.  Of course… wait, do I?! That’s an answer I thought was sure at this point in my life.  The amazing thing is in that moment, trust made sense for the first time.  All of a sudden there was a relief in my core that I’m not sure I have ever felt.  Without Him saying a word, there was an understanding that actually trusting God meant to actually let go of needing to know the process of getting to an answer.

Trust is a Principle

MELISSA GABLER—Trust is a principle that is not impossible to live.  It’s a choice.  The only things that stand in the way are experience and lies, both of which have to bow to the truth.  Sometimes we just have to start by giving up increments of concern to the faithfulness of God.  It really is okay to let go.  For some of us that is harder than it sounds, but the depth of breath experienced on the other side is extraordinary.  We are in a season of miracles, signs, and wonders.  Dare to be a part of that by trusting the Trustworthy One.  “How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts You.” (Ps.84:12)

Step Into Simple Trust

Kathy Gabler—Exasperation is only on our side of any situation. Exasperation always boils down to our focus.   Our focus is the desperate need, the unanswered prayers, and the injustice that we feel.  And the tormenting factor that is at the root of all of that, is fear.  And fear is complex. It is a fear of loss and a fear of unbearable consequences and at the same time a fear of personal failure. The only antidote is to move our focus to God who does not fear.  He sees much more than the details that torment us. And His nature and character do not change or bend under the weight of threats.  The only way to step out of exasperation is to step into simple trust. God knows the details. God cares. And God will do what ever is possible to be done concerning our concerns.

Things I Cannot See

MELISSA GABLER—I will choose to believe God is working in things I cannot see.

Believing and Relationship

MELISSA GABLER—Believing is about relationship with Jesus. Think about it, when Jesus walked the earth these signs were simply part of His nature. They flowed out of Him. Here is my definition of this kind of relationship just to be clear: Priority focus and attention, Guidance given and examples to live by, I trust Him with my life. So, my relationship with Jesus being priority should produce the same lifestyle He lived. I believe in Him, walk with Him, talk with Him, follow Him and signs simply flow out of the nature formed from that relationship.  This completely changes the rules of engagement regarding anything I am faced with from here on out.

Trusting God in Spite of Impossibilities

As the people of God assemble today let them rejoice in His holy name and let them raise together their courage and determination to continue to trust God and His unfailing Word as they praise Almighty God confidently in spite of the entities and circumstances that seem to be bringing impossibilities against their destiny in the King’s purposes for them in their generation. Ps.27:3,Amp—“Though an army encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, Even in this I am confident.”

Do I Trust God?

(MELISSA)— As of late my meditation topic has been Trust.  You know: “reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.” (dictionary com)  It should be a natural byproduct of being a believer. (MELISSA will be hosting, leading worship and speaking at Kingdom Congress March 1-3, 2023)

The Month of November is For

The Month of November is for trusting in the Lord no matter what. “Behold, God is my salvation; I WILL TRUST, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength & my song, and he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)

Take a Step

As the people of God assemble today and they sing out praises and worship and they hear the powerful Word of God taught, may they realize it is time to take yet another step. May each one take a step more in the direction the Lord has them headed in within their bent, their calling, their purpose. This is the season for stepping up to the next level of purpose and function in the Kingdom of God. Prov.3:5-6, Amp — “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  6  In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”

Guard Attitude and Gratitude

(Kathy Gabler)—Our faith and trust in God is our stand of agreement that opens the earth and the circumstances and the day and the moment to Him. Basically, Father told me to guard my attitude and my gratitude, and I learned the surest way to do that is to make trust a priority every time a contrary wind stings my face. My confidence in Him cannot be passive nor frail. It must be a deliberate daily decision. Thankfulness too is a daily deliberate decision. For me that decision starts when I remind my soul that He is good and He is in the moment.
