Government of God

DR. DON CRUM — The government of the Kingdom of God increases as God’s sons and daughters who are His ambassadors in the earthly realm, understand and operate more in the implementation of God’s “Foreign Policies” in the earth. Therefore, His rule and reign extend and expand throughout the nations, pulling them into alignment. Matt 13:33 Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” God’s Kingdom Government is permeating throughout the nations through you and me as His Kingdom Ambassadors. As God’s sons and daughters in the earth, we are entrusted with an amazing inheritance of kingly authority to legislate the affairs of nations by invoking God’s plans and policies on a massive global scale. We are rapidly moving out of the Congregational and into the Congressional in this hour. Understanding our delegated authority in Christ’s imperative. (DR. CRUM is speaking at Kingdom Congress March 1, 2023. Location, schedule and info: martygabler.com/kc2023/)

Radical Change

MELISSA—Recently I was praying over a situation and all I heard loud and clear was the word “radical”.  I could get behind that! Yes, radical change in this situation.  I began to speak “radical” into my concern.  It was one of those kind of things, however,  that just kept rolling around and growing inside of me.  It just felt like it meant more than I was currently grasping.  It also felt like it was for more than just that particular situation. So, I looked the word up in the Websters 1828 Dictionary

Check this out: Radical: 1. Pertaining to the root or origin; original; fundamental; as a radical truth or error; a radical evil; a radical difference of opinions or systems.  2. Implanted by nature; native; constitutional; as the radical moisture of a body. 3. Primitive; original; underived; uncompounded; as a radical word. 4. Serving to origination. 5. In botany, proceeding immediately from the root; as a radical leaf or peduncle.

Well, oh my! Radical is a much stronger word than I thought it was.  Basically, what I see in these definitions is that radical means going back to God’s original intent.  So, when the Holy Spirit says “radical” He fully intends to take the current situation and put that person, family, business, region, etc. back on track with His original intent.

An Isaac Season

KATHY — There are people who are on the threshold of an Isaac season. For me that represents a long-awaited promise finally coming to pass. Isaac represents the good plans of God manifesting. Isaac represents enabling to reach a greater degree of purpose and potential. Isaac represents the joy of fulfillment. We are positioned in a time and place for “Isaacs” to come on the scene. Rom.4:20-21, The Passion Translation — “He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God!”  (Kathy will be speaking at the 14th Annual Kingdom Congress, Mar.1-3,2023. Selfless, Giving Love

As another annual emphasis upon love comes round, let us rejoice in the warmth of God’s selfless, giving love whereby we have learned to love. Rom.5:5, TLB — “Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”

Remembering and Action

LARRY BURDEN– In Paul’s letter to Timothy, he instructs his son to “call to remembrance …” (2 Timothy 1:5) The words, “remembrance” and “remember” in scripture come from a root that means “recite or invoke”. Simply put, remembering results in action and as such becomes a power releaser in your life. If you rehearse a memory, you empower it! Scientific study has shown that whenever a thought or event occurs, it immediately is processed through a part of the brain known as “the memory gateway”. Each time you recall that thought or event it becomes more and more activated to the final point of becoming “set” in your mind. If you focus on negative thoughts and events, your words and emotions will become governed by negativity. If you focus on positive thoughts and events, then the opposite occurs. The good news is that whenever negative thoughts are revisited and truth is added to them, truth will SHIFT the mindset and alter your perception. It is called RENEWING YOUR MIND! Bounty by the Power of Holy Spirit

As the people of God assemble today, may they be infused with Holy Spirit power to be fruitful all the year ahead.  May vision and empowerment come to each one.  I pray that the fruit our Lord gives you and your church this year will be like the net the disciples had to call for help to draw in.  May there be such a bounty that the net would be near bursting with the catch. May your net be built strong and hold. “So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net to land, full of large fish, 153 of them; and [though] there were so many of them, the net was not torn.” (Jn.21:11, Amp)

Pray and Participate

JIM HODGES—“The question is not how much does the Kingdom advance before the King returns.  The question is how much will the Body of Christ pray and participate in the agenda of the Kingdom of God in the culture? An increasing Kingdom that was prophesied by Isaiah demands an anointed, activated, and fearless people of God.”

This is a Threshold Year

MELISSA–It’s been something else the last month or so! There have been many calls, reports and instances that could keep one in the prayer closet 24/7 (let alone what’s going on nationally). It’s one of those moments that, while feeling bombarded, you realize there are many feeling the same way so there must be something bigger afoot. If you are nodding your head in agreement right now I would just like to encourage you. In the middle of a rather intense evening recently my mom said, “This is a threshold war.” That was the hammer that struck the gong right there! I then saw me and my family pushing through a clear membrane into a new place. Then around 3:00AM the next morning, I woke up and kept hearing, “You are there.” The only thing left was writing on the wall! We are at a new threshold!

Definitions and Disappointments

Kathy — Being quick to put our expectations and definitions on a word from God can set us up for disappointment, because we know in part. We must allow God to define terms and add parts. Through the process we more fully understand what He said up front. So, no matter how contradictory or upsetting a part might seem, we can rest assured when all the parts finally come together, God’s intent and purpose will prevail. Isa.46:10, TPT — “I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened. I decree that my purpose will stand, and I will fulfill my every plan.”  (On March 3, 2023 Kathy will be speaking on “The Kingdom in This Present World” at Kingdom Congress at Grace Church in Willis,TX. Departure Platform or Kingdom Mandate?

As long as there are a people who feel they have their “ticket stamped” to go to a “much better place,” there will be no reform of what they deem to be merely an exit platform, rather than a Kingdom mandate (cf.Jn.20:21;Lk.9:2;Jn.16:7). If the departure platform is somewhat rickety, people will just try to stand still and hope the train out of there arrives soon. With such a view, no one reforms or rebuilds the platform; they simply grip what is available to grip and hope to be off of it as soon as possible. The emphasis today upon the sudden coming of the Lord isn’t about Him, it is about us. The religious pundits pounding their pulpits exclaiming the quick return of our Lord are getting hearty (and well financed) “Amens!” in response to their promises of sudden escape from disappointments, rudely jostled comfort zones and nerve-racking prognostication. We have been taught by pop-theology to use faith for immediate relief, not long-term endurance, not long-term results (Heb.11:13 does not figure into Esau’s demands for immediate relief).  The Esau mindset of blowing off the coming generations and spending what you’ve got on relief for the present generation flies well in today’s skies. Joseph did not get immediate results (or relief) after his prophetic dream and prophetic pronouncement. He and Daniel and Esther were sent ahead to “preserve a posterity,” “continue a remnant” and “save lives.” (Gen.45:7 Amplified) Joseph stood and stood and took ground “until the Word of the Lord proved him” and he was not proven to guarantee him plenty of airtime and notoriety but for the survival of a nation (Ps.105:18). He was not dealt the luxurious right of faith for immediate relief or escape. But the result was the salvation of a nation and its being propelled into the future of its destiny for Jehovah’s purposes and Name’s sake.  (On March 3, 2023 MARTY will be speaking on “The Kingdom in This Present World” at Kingdom Congress at Grace Church in Willis,TX. The meetings will not be livestreamed. No Fee. For detailed information go to martygabler.com/kc2023/)

Moving From Defensive Position to Offensive

MELISSA–The initial hit from the enemy might require you to go on the defense, but you never stay there. I will explain this in a tactical way. I took self-defense classes for a number of years. One of my instructors recently said, “We teach you to defend yourself one time. We will never teach you to stay in a defensive position. You must counter, control, and finish the fight.” Well, my goodness. What strategy! After you defend yourself one time from your enemy’s attack you then strike back with the weapons and skill God has given you. You can’t stay just in the defensive position. You propel forward because He already set up your counter measures and you are well armed, and able! What are your counter measures? Number one: Scripture. Number two: your Holy Spirit-breathed prophetic words. Other than that, whatever God has personally set up for you. Ask Him to show you and open your eyes to see! Don’t get bogged down in the fear of it. Look for His provision because it is already there. Isaiah 54:17-“no weapon formed against you shall prosper” is not an afterthought. It is solid forethought!

Discernment is Seeing a Difference

KATHY—I knew an older gentleman who was called to be an intercessor and that calling was confirmed through a prophetic word.  He had not recognized the calling, nor could he receive the word, because of his definition of an intercessor.  His belief was that an intercessor was a person who prayed for many hours every day.  His experience indicated that was neither his lifestyle nor his desire; so, he could not believe he could ever be an intercessor.   After a conversation with a discerning friend, he discovered intercession is not bound to one particular lifestyle and he opened his heart to the call of God.  His misunderstanding had been keeping him from fulfillment and effectual purpose for years.  Discernment is about seeing a difference that will make a difference.  Discernment turns the light on so we can take action and make adjustments. Ps.119:130,Amp—“The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple.”

Dreaming of Dreams Fulfilled

As the people of God assemble today may they dream while they are wide awake. May they dream of answered prayer, of facilitated, fulfilled life-dreams and fulfilled hopes and expectancies for their family members and their brothers and sisters in Christ. Eph.1:11-12,Amp—“In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will, 12 So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory!”

Dreams Coming True

In 2023 I am praying to see a lot of posts that start with: “Hey, you guys, God is awesome! Another dream just came true!!!”

Do I Trust God?

(MELISSA)— As of late my meditation topic has been Trust.  You know: “reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.” (dictionary com)  It should be a natural byproduct of being a believer. I thought so until God asked me if I trusted Him.  Of course… wait, do I?! That’s an answer I thought was sure at this point in my life.  The amazing thing is in that moment, trust made sense for the first time.  All of a sudden there was a relief in my core that I’m not sure I have ever felt.  Without Him saying a word, there was an understanding that actually trusting God meant to actually let go of needing to know the process of getting to an answer.  (MELISSA will be hosting, leading worship and speaking at Kingdom Congress March 1-3, 2023)

Finding Security

KATHY—Does God ever send us a word that conflicts with our personal beliefs?  Yes.  It’s not that God is out to upset our apple cart.  It is that He loves us too much to let us continue finding security in our beliefs that are tainted by error, warped by experience or hindered by misunderstanding.  These things will leave us at dead ends, frustrated and unfulfilled at some point in our destiny, and He loves us too much to simply allow that.  Prov.3:26,NLT—“for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.”

What You Dwell on Determines Your Hope

If we tend to look back and find ourselves distressed over expectancies and hopes that did not come to pass in our lives in the past year or we begin to consider what seem to be impossible/inevitable challenges of the future, why don’t we not dwell there but begin to make declarations like: I will not allow any person nor any adverse circumstance to determine the lifespan of the hope God originally put in me. Phil.1:6,Msg—“There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.”

The Never-Ending Warranty

MELISSA—God simply does not produce junk. He didn’t create humanity with only “one shot” to make it a good life, so “you better not mess up” or get sick in the process or “your life is over”. In fact, God Himself created the original warranty when Jesus took those stripes on His back (Isa. 53:5 &1Pe. 2:24). Yeah, that’s right, we have a never ending warranty on us, signed in blood. This warranty includes, “…all things that pertain unto life and godliness” (2Pe. 1:3). We have in us what we need right now, at this moment in time, for ourselves AND for our nation. Dare I even say, for the world. We have it because we have a relationship with Jesus Christ which opens us up to be a floodgate of Heaven on earth. It’s only through relationship that we gain understanding of the covenant. It’s our relationship with the King of Kings that sharpens and broadens our vision to see the treasures and promises in His covenant.
