Redemptively Impact Your Environment

It doesn’t take much awareness to notice all around us there is great need and a lot of KneadDoughhurting people. If our God is anything, He is Redeemer. His people will, therefore, bear His characteristics and likeness and they shall redemptively impact their environment and the people in it. May the people of God be like yeast growing in the dough and permeating arts and entertainment, business, education, family, government, media and religion. May we influence the present culture with the love, compassion, authority and wisdom of the rule of God. (Matt.13:33, GW)  “He used another illustration. “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman mixed into a large amount of flour until the yeast worked its way through all the dough.” We are praying you discover daily our Lord’s redeeming influence working through your life.

God’s Sons and Daughters

The following is an excerpt from an article by DR. DON CRUM. (Dr. Crum is speaking at Kingdom Equipping Congress 2016. The theme is “Sons/Daughters of the Kingdom”.  Info: KINGDOM EQUIPPING CONGRESS

SceptercrownThe government of the Kingdom of God increases as God’s sons and daughters who are His ambassadors in the earthly realm, understand and operate more in the implementation of God’s “Foreign Policies” in the earth. Therefore, His rule and reign extend and expand throughout the nations, pulling them into alignment. Matt 13:33 “Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” God’s Kingdom Government is permeating throughout the nations through you and me as His Kingdom Ambassadors.
As God’s sons and daughters in the earth, we are entrusted with an amazing inheritance of kingly authority to legislate the affairs of nations by invoking God’s plans and policies on a massive global scale. We are rapidly moving out of the Congregational and into the Congressional in this hour. Understanding our delegated authority in Christ is imperative.

(Dr. Crum is president and founder of Leadership International, an organization designed to develop and train leaders with emphasis on integrity, courage, power and vision in the fields of church, government, business and education. Don serves in an advisory and mentoring role to presidents of nations, other government officials and military commanders. God uses him significantly to impact nations like Nigeria, Benin, China, Ghana, Israel, Russia, Korea, Mexico, India, England, Malaysia, the Ukraine and the United States.)

The Whole Story

The whole Story is about JESUS. Since the whole Story is about Him, how can it all be winding down for the Church? “But Jesus answered them, My Father has worked [even] until now, [He has never ceased working; He is still working] and I, too, must be at [divine] work.” (Jn 5:17) When GroupMountainTopdoes the Father or the Son ever stop working? And… if They are working, is Their work any less than perfection of purpose no matter what the view from our angle? How could the Church Jesus is building be one generation away from extinction? How could the Bride that Jesus will marry go to her wedding in shame and defeat? How can the Head have a body that is defunct? Eph 5:27 shows us that His Church is a “glorious Church” and in Heb 12:27 it is the instrument of the Kingdom that cannot be shaken: 27 “The phrase ‘one last shaking’ means a thorough housecleaning, getting rid of all the historical and religious junk so that the unshakable essentials stand clear and uncluttered.  28  Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander.” (The Message) His Kingdom is an ever-increasing Kingdom, not an unwinding Kingdom. (Isa 9:7; Dan 2:35; Mt.13:33) God is wound up about His Son’s destiny and the destiny of JESUS is realized in the sons of the Kingdom and we will not stop short of the glory of God. “For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].” (Rom 8:19, Amp)

Like Yeast In A Lump

doughMay the Word of God you have spoken to family, friends and strangers
continue to work in them like yeast working in dough. May it speak to
them in the quiet of the wee hours, in the middle of their work day and
in the midst of their troubles. And may they finally see that truth and
respond with a realizing “Yes!”.

“The Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a woman making bread.
She takes a measure of flour and mixes in the yeast until it permeates
every part of the dough.” (Matt.13:33, Living Bible)

Wound Up Not Down

Wound Up Not Down

God is wound up about His Son and His Son’s destiny, so how can things be winding down? Religion leaves us to think that this whole thing is about us and our getting to heaven. The reason God gets wound up about people is because of the part of His Son’s destiny that they play, not because He would simply rather have them playing a harp than roasting like a marshmallow. Paul shows this plainly: Eph 1:8  “Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence),  9  Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him, 10  [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth. “(Amplified) It is descriptively put in the NASB in v.10 like this: …an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ.

The whole Story is about Him. Since the whole Story is about Him, how can it all be winding down for the Church? But Jesus answered them, My Father has worked [even] until now, [He has never ceased working; He is still working] and I, too, must be at [divine] work. (Jn 5:17) When does the Father or the Son ever stop working? And… if They are working, is Their work any less than perfection of purpose no matter what the view from our angle? Eph 5:27 shows us that His Church is a “glorious Church” and in Heb 12:27 it is the instrument of the Kingdom that cannot be shaken: “The phrase ‘one last shaking’ means a thorough housecleaning, getting rid of all the historical and religious junk so that the unshakable essentials stand clear and uncluttered.  28  Do you see what we’ve got?
