All Day Every Day

Melissa — It’s going to take loving the Truth (which is a Person—THE Person) to see great and mighty things for which an earth is groaning (Romans 8:17-19). It’s going to take some calling on that Person which requires relationship, not curbside pickup. And relationship takes time, time out of your day. This does not mean you have to set aside hours and hours every day. That is not a bad thing if that’s where you are currently, or a season you are headed into. Other than that, a relationship is all day everyday.

Deliver Us From Evil

There was an intercessors meeting where I was asked to speak. I was talking about all the demonic activity and agendas being promoted in our culture and that it might be a good idea for us to look to Scripture and heed our Lord’s instruction in the Lord’s Prayer to ask our Heavenly Father to deliver us from evil. There was a known minister from the region in attendance and he spoke up and said that in that particular context (Matt.6:13), the original language isn’t referring to evil in general but to “the evil one” and we were delivered from him at the cross. (In that particular context it seemed as though he was implying that we are not supposed to pray to be delivered from evil.) And, believe it or not, I am actually aware of the truths stated by that gentleman. But, first of all, I still desire to continue to be delivered from the evil one (it appears these days that he is still quite active), his activities and his agenda in my generation and I desire the nearly-destroyed-by-evil people I minister to, to be delivered also. Then, when I further consider him and all that is quite apparently evil and devilish in the culture of this nation, I think the present condition of the world around us begs the question, “How many know that you don’t get the dog without his fleas?” There is not only an “evil one” but it is my belief that in Mk.5:9 where the man said, “My name is Legion, for we are many” we are shown that, though he was just one man, the “dog’s fleas” (more than one) had so infested him that he was tormented and terrorizing the region of the Gerasenes. That level of demonization and demonstrative display are not the only ways evil is manifested. Evil can function quite often in disguised, subtle and hidden ways, yet leave its disturbing, harassing residue over a wide area. I regularly pray for said deliverance from evil in society and regularly declare it over hurting people. I shall continue to pray for insight, wisdom and discernment for myself and others as we move forward in facing the challenges of evil and move forward in the purposes of the King of Kings as the powers of darkness continue to oppose the Kingdom of Light (Jn.3:19-20;Col.1:13;1Pe.2:9;1Thess.5:22).

Fear and Norms

MELISSA — My eyes are being opened to how far below par we have been living when God’s intention all along has been for us to reside above par. This awakening is exposing agendas that have been built to lull us and control us. These agendas use normal everyday things we allow in our lives because it’s a “norm” in society. There are things like pop culture, entertainment, news and standards that we call wisdom when in reality it’s man’s wisdom. Side note: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of [true] wisdom where man’s wisdom comes from fearing everything else. One fear leads to life abundantly and the other leads to an early grave. I have been guilty of living a life embracing man’s wisdom and society’s norms and I’ve noticed a whole lot of ineffectualness.

Look for the Cloud

As the people of God assemble today may they encourage one another that where there is no cloud of provision there can be a cloud the size of a man’s hand the next time they go look and that the time they look after that, they can experience the rain of plenty provision that breaks the drought of hopelessness. “…and there was a heavy rain.” (1K.18:45a)

Dreaming of Dreams Fulfilled

As the people of God assemble today may they dream while they are wide awake. May they dream of answered prayer, of facilitated, fulfilled life-dreams and fulfilled hopes and expectancies for their family members and their brothers and sisters in Christ. Eph.1:11-12,Amp—“In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will, 12 So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory!”

Dreams and Warnings

KATHY—A warning from God in a dream may sober you, but it will not threaten or condemn you.  The point of a God-warning is to be wise and take action.  Dreams that come as a threat are not His nature.  Threats come from fear, our own or someone else’s. Since God is never afraid, He won’t cause you to panic. He won’t send dreams or visions to intimidate because He can’t be threatened.  He won’t send them to shame or condemn because He can’t be manipulated or moved to action with guilt.  His dreams and visions will reflect His nature.

Hearing Ear and Seeing Eye

As the people of God assemble today may they truly worship the awesome Almighty God Who has made their eyes to see and their ears to hear. May they receive clearing of the eyes and opened ears to see and hear what the Lord God is doing in this time when so many are fearful and discouraged. May they take bold steps forward while trusting in Him Who never leaves nor forsakes His own. Prov.20::12,Amp–“The hearing ear and the seeing eye—the Lord has made both of them.”

Embracing Norms

MELISSA–My eyes are being opened to how far below par we have been living when God’s intention all along has been for us to reside above par. We have been progressing through levels of awakening for a while now, but it’s about to get real in each of us, maybe for the first time.

Fast Fear

Melissa — Hey, you can fast fear! It’s true! Set your mind to it and watch how aware you become of fear in your life.  It’s amazing how interwoven that stinker is.  But when you become aware, you can do something about it.  You can take your rightful place in the driver’s seat by forcing fear out.  Ask the Holy Spirit to point it out, then you replace it with truth.  You replace fear with God’s original intent for your life, thoughts of peace to give you an expected end (Jer. 29:11).  This is not necessarily an overnight change, it takes time.  It’s a process well worth it, but you can still be an agent of change in the middle of your process.  How? By listening to the Father and doing/saying what He tells you (John 5:19).

Transplant on the Nation

MELISSA–To sum up the vision of God doing a heart transplant, there is a major transplant being done on this nation.  It is not only getting a new heart but the breath of God is going to blow through the nation and through the core, the innermost being of this nation. This is not a surface thing happening, this is a deep internal work God is doing.  He is restructuring this nation from the inside out.  This restructuring is going to cause the church to come to life and that which has been a stagnate, lifeless memorial to the past way of doing things is being replaced with new life that will continue to grow and give life.  The old structures are coming down to make way for the new which is alive and thriving.

Heaven is Not a Faraway Place

Dr. Don Crum–The woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5 reached through that thin veil that separates the earthly from the heavenly.  Heaven is not a faraway place, but rather a whole other dimension within close proximity to where we are in the earthly realm.  When Jesus healed or delivered, He often made an important announcement, saying, “Behold, the kingdom of heaven has come upon you or near you”.  So I think heaven is not a distant place but right on the other side of a thin veil that separates the earthly from the heavenly.  This lady reached through that thin veil with her desperate faith, right into the heavenly dimension of God and laid hold of a stick of spiritual dynamite, lit the fuse with her fiery passion and pulled it into her circumstance, where it exploded and annihilated her disease.  It completely went away that day because she pulled a stick of God’s dynamite into it!
