O Father God, Crown the Year!
MELISSA — “You crown the year with your bounty, and your paths overflow.” (Ps. 65:11 AMP) “Crown” here is the Hebrew word “atar”. It means to encircle for protection. So, we really are tiptoeing into something big in 2023 and we are protected as we approach our reveal. And let’s just top it off, “Your paths overflow” says 2023 is marked with abundance. The biggest fight we have at this point is truly believing our God is as good as He really is!

Putting Our Heart Into It
KATHY—The Holy Spirit gave me specific instructions one day to put my heart into the day. Graciously, He did not say, “Instead of murmuring today, try living like it connects to My good plans for you.” Whether we can see past the smoke of the fire we are in or not, we can decide to persevere each day with the confidence that it truly is an investment toward tomorrow and our potential in 2023. Mt.6:34,TPT—“Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”

The Path God has Ordained
May the Lord prosper you in the path of life that He has ordained for you in 2023. May He show you the life He has placed in that path for you and may you impart life in that ordained path. And when you have gone down that path this year, there will be many who will never be the same because you are a bearer of His life which is redemptive. Joy to you all year. “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” (Ps.16:11, Amp)

Be Vigilant in 2023
MELISSA—Yes, it has come to this: Be vigilant in 2023—keenly watchful to detect danger; ever awake and alert; sleeplessly watchful. Let me go ahead and say, this is not a “you deserve a spanking for allowing the world to go down the toilet” post. Rather this post is aimed at being an alarm clock to wake up God’s sleeping giants to war in this coming year! Is that you? Well, you’re the one reading this right now, and that is NO COINCIDENCE! So, here’s your wake up call, you beautiful heavenly-Change-Agent, you! What is a heavenly Change-Agent? It’s one who makes a difference wherever they are because they carry Heaven in them. When I say Heaven, I mean one who carries the original intent of God wherever they go. What is God’s original intent? That Intent is Heaven on earth, a Kingdom without end (Luke 1:31-33). The difference between our Change-Agents and the ones making the news right now is that we cause life, healing, peace, hope, restoration—not death and destruction!

Your Name in God’s Script for 2023
KATHY—Going into this new year, let me say, if you are breathing, your name is pre-written in God’s script for the Awakening of this decade. We’re not talking the impossible dream. We’re talking the plans of God for sons and daughters to tend to Father’s business. Please don’t let that scare you or stress you in any way because we don’t have to have a super hero full-body leotard or a cape and a mask. This is about being God-Positioned and God-Graced, Holy Spirit-prompted and Holy Spirit-enabled, and our part is to simply respond: “Lord, be it unto me according to Your word.”

The New Year Road
As the people of God assemble today, may they see plainer than ever the road that they are purposed to run in the new year. May one be an encouragement to another to steadily get on down the path this year that leads to success for our Lord’s plan. “…I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.” (Eph.4:1b-3, Msg)

Getting the Shield of Faith Back Up
There are some people who, throughout 2022, have tried to hold up the shield that quenches the fiery darts coming against them and their family and their church. But because of continued wearying circumstances, you have wearily lowered that shield and some of the darts and accusations have gotten through and done damage. Entering into 2023, you are getting that shield back up and into position by realizing and declaring, “But the Word of God says______.” As you quote the Word in the face of the incoming fiery darts, faith will begin to arise and you will, once again, lift the shield that quenches the darts. 2023 for you will be a season of quenching the fiery darts with the Word of faith. “Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” (Eph.6:16)

God Putting His Finger on Things
MELISSA — God is putting His finger on things that must be dealt with right now in individual’s lives. This is a tremendous opportunity to be free of cycles, issues and fears that have held you and your family captive. I know there are those reading this right now that have had recent revelations of personal bondage that the Lord is unlocking. He’s opening eyes and restoring lives for, dare I say, such a time as this! So, take rest in knowing you don’t have to have it all figured out and on track before you go to bed tonight. Just simply start with realizing that He is the One that restores your soul and leads you in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake (Ps. 23). It’s about that, His Name’s sake, inch-by-inch for His Name’s sake.

Standing
MELISSA—Our stance in this season is standing — standing on the truth that our magnificent God is doing something BIG. He is establishing His plan for 2023 and beyond. We GET to be a part of this. We GET to be a change agent simply by standing. Yes, YOU have what is needed for this moment. Now is not the time to throw your hands up. Now is the time to take a deep breath and watch the glorious show unfolding in the days ahead. Yes, there will be shockers. BUT all we need to know is that those shockers are proof that God is shaking what can be shaken (Heb.12:27-28)! Thankful to be Your daughter, my King. “The kingdom of God doesn’t come by counting the days on the calendar. Nor when someone says, ‘Look here!’ or, ‘There it is!’ And why? Because God’s kingdom is already among you.” (Luke 17:21 MSG) It’s time to wake up, and be who we were born to be. Let’s win this war, as God has intended.

It Ain’t Over
Occasionally someone says something or posts something disparaging toward prophets and the prophetic that had its origin in disappointment or eschatological misbelief. Does that preclude any ability of God Jehovah Almighty to turn this thing around? Except for Egyptian royalty adopting the Israelite deliverer, devoured conjured snakes, numerous plagues, a split sea and a drowned army, Israel would not have been delivered from Egypt. Those must-be factors were not listed in the original prophecy about the deliverance of Israel from Egypt. When God commissioned Moses at the burning bush (Ex.3), He warned Moses that opposition to his prophetic assignment would be powerfully opposed (v.22). So, any who may have been presuming the whole Egyptian deliverance to look like Moses would just walk in with a request and walk out after everyone had a day to pack with all the grateful, affectionate Israelites in tow were VERY upset and likely to call for an organized stoning. We don’t know all of God’s plans and workings behind the scenes as He works in people, circumstances and time. By the time He gets through, the events and the people may look far different from what we had imagined when we originally heard His word/plan. It ain’t over until God says it is over, no matter whose sensitivities are chafed. Isa.14:24,TPT—“The Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, makes this solemn decree: “Be sure of this: Just as I have planned, so it will be. Every purpose of my heart will surely come to pass.”

In This Year Less is More
Less is more. Simple is wise. This year we have entered into is a great year to allow Holy Spirit to give weight to our words to help and edify people who are desperately looking for solace and solutions. We are going to find that the simplest things the Lord inspires us to say to someone are going to be the most powerful. You are the bearer of His Spirit, of His Living Word. Those words will be of the Lord and they will impact that person or persons and then they will walk away from us carrying something they did not have before we spoke the simple truth of God’s Word and God’s heart. Prayers and declarations do not have to be complicated. Just get out in the moment what needs to get into the atmosphere. ”What I tell you in darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear, proclaim on the housetops.” (Matt.10:27)

Coming Into the New Year
Kathy—Coming into the new year we would be wise to make decisions based in the Word of God, the wisdom of God. If we go to God for a deposit of His peace and wisdom, we can make a choice that contradicts our feelings. That doesn’t mean you are giving up strategy and resolve, it means you’re just choosing not to stay upset while it comes. To stay upset is to choose death because your body will suffer, relationships will suffer and “emotional reactions” will become king in the house and set an atmosphere that draws more upset.

Battle-Weariness
Kathy—Our Battles this last year may have been physical or financial or attacks from people or harassment in circumstances or a siege of constant pressure. Whatever the conflict, I think battle-weariness sets in at the point there seems to be no let up, no end. Changelessness is exhausting. It can make us too tired to muster hope, but like David, that’s the time to talk to God openly. In Psalm 55, David told the Lord that he just wanted some peace and quiet, a walk in the country and a cabin in the woods. He told Him his heart was desperate for change (MSG). When we come to God in exhausted desperateness, He does not meet us there as a stonewall of resistance. That place of meeting with Him is a threshold, a starting place, a second wind. Just breathe.

Be Fruitful All Year Ahead
As the people of God assemble today, may they be infused with Holy Spirit power to be fruitful all the year ahead. May vision and empowerment come to each one. I pray that the fruit our Lord gives you and your church this year will be like the net the disciples had to call for help to draw in. May there be such a bounty that the net would be near bursting with the catch. New Year and Welcomed Changes
Kathy—If you are battle-weary, I believe the new year will bring welcomed changes. I’m not implying battles will stop suddenly and everybody goes on vacation. I’m saying many long-term battles will end because you finally win. “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around” (MSG, Prov. 13:12). I expect some sudden good breaks in the year to come.

Where is This Coming From?
Melissa—A reminder for 2022: don’t forget that a lot of what you are dealing with personally, whether it be physically or emotionally, may be the war in the atmosphere. We have the authority to say “peace” because we are His agents. When our Lord told the storm to “be still” the atmosphere listened. We carry that same authority and it is our job to change the atmosphere during our lifetime. So, the next time you are dealing with something personally let your first reaction be to remember there is so much more going on around you than your eyes can see. Ask, “where is this coming from and how do I need to deal with it?” You may simply need to say, “Peace, be still.”

Intercessors Exposing Danger
2021 Declaration #2. INTERCESSORS GOING TO WAR IN PRAYER WILL EXPOSE DANGER — Kid’s Version: We declare that God is giving secret missions to prayer warriors.
On several occasions in the year to come there will be warnings and/or predictions about nationally impacting and dangerous events/circumstances that will be retracted because of intercessors going to war in prayer. There will be hints here and there of impending plans/dangers but God will show the 
intercessors through speaking to them, through visions, through dreams and types and shadows, and intercessors will be seeing clearer than they ever have. There will be a linking of intercessors in America, South America and Europe to a degree that there has not been heretofore. The body of Christ is moving from congregational to congressional, from priestly to kingly. We will not just be gathering but legislating in the atmosphere through prayers, declarations, decrees and prophecy.
We must pray for the hand of the Lord to protect the water supply of cities and even nations. There will even be times we will have to pray for the waters to be healed. There will be times when wars will be fought over water supply.

You Can Fast Fear
Melissa — Hey, you can fast fear! It’s true! Set your mind to it and watch how aware you become of fear in your life. It’s amazing how interwoven that stinker is. But when you become aware, you can do something about it. You can take your rightful place in the driver’s seat by forcing fear out. Ask the Holy Spirit to point it out, then you replace it with truth. You replace fear with God’s original intent for your life, thoughts of peace to give you an expected end (Jer. 29:11). This is not necessarily an overnight change, it takes time. It’s a process well worth it, but you can still be an agent of change in the middle of your process. How? By listening to the Father and doing/saying what He tells you (John 5:19).

See the Road

Opportunities and Decisions
In His wisdom Father has placed opportunities & choices before us (Deut.30:19; Matt.7:13). Whether or not we go through the many divinely-ordained opened doors God has put before us this year will depend upon how we make decisions this year. There are many doors open before you. They are not just barely cracked open but wide open for His Kingdom purposes, for His Name’s sake.
