Moses had difficulty getting Israel out of Egypt — those slaves did not have a mental mode to fit their transformation. Transformation announces to us that now is the time for a change of mentality. A teenager was invaded by the word and Spirit of God. Her mentality for transformation changed quickly. Mary’s acceptance of the invasion of heaven was intoned in the submissive, “be it unto me according to thy word.” (Lk.1:38)

Kathy — Take a moment to get your bearings and remember our individual obedience is only a part of a bigger plan. God is not calling each of us to be a Moses who must lead a whole nation out of bondage; rather, He is calling us to our part in participating with His plans. We don’t have to tend to the whole farm if our instruction is to steward one acre. We can stay in our lane and succeed.

They do not wash their hands before they eat.” In reply, could we ask: why is a priority shift considered intolerable? Why do you make “change” rebellion? Precept upon precept is not preference upon preference nor tradition upon tradition. Sound doctrine does not equal changeless traditions.

There are all manner of threats and predictions concerning present perils and the “need for wisdom” in future ministry considerations. While many are calling for such wisdom to be applied in this hour, somewhere a cry should also be going forth for some amount of determination to be applied. Where is it written that authority is given to events of certain times in history or to evil persons of those times to 
become the master decision-makers for all of us, especially those who were acknowledging and embracing a divine destiny before these threatening perils and persons started doing their destructive deeds? 9 “Remember your history, your long and rich history. I am God, the only God you’ve had or ever will have—incomparable, irreplaceable— 10 From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, Assuring you, ‘I’M IN THIS FOR THE LONG HAUL, I’LL DO EXACTLY WHAT I SET OUT TO DO,’ 11 Calling that eagle, Cyrus, out of the east, from a far country the man I chose to help me. I’ve said it, and I’ll most certainly do it. I’ve planned it, so it’s as good as done. 12 “Now listen to me: You’re a hardheaded bunch and hard to help. 13 I’M READY TO HELP YOU RIGHT NOW. Kathy — In the dream I had after Marty gave the 2020 Declarations I received instructions as to how I should pray (and I shared those a few days ago). But then, 
my instructions continued: Pray, the changes and results be undeniable. Pray that tomorrow will manifest what I initiate today in heart-thinking and in conversations and in angel assignments. Pray that opposition and interference on every level be sabotaged in the night between today and tomorrow’s manifestation. Pray that speedy and prevailing works of righteousness and justice be witnessed and understood so that the fear of the Lord will come upon people and their families and their nations and their generations.

Kathy — On December 29th, Marty made the *declarations for 2020. The one that impacted me most specifically was “Subterranean Goliaths will fall!” I took it to heart to ponder and looked up the words he used. Subterranean means “hidden, secret or literally operating beneath the earth’s surface”. (In one gathering in January, as Marty released this declaration, he paused and added, “Watch for what is happening literally in tunnels beneath the earth.”) Fallen means “in a lapsed or 
degraded state, prostrated or ruined”. So, it was a vivid picture to me to think there will soon be secret giant organizations falling apart behind the scenes and powerful hidden handlers falling on their faces in ruin. Since we can’t always see their presence and operations, I wondered if we will see their fall. After all, the American news media is apt to be for Goliath, not against him nor against any evil giant agenda.
People speak outrageous lies and accusations to reporters to form sound bites so they can be broadcast to the nation. Though there be no truth or accuracy in their clips, the words bombard the atmosphere to echo in people’s thoughts and conversations. Such a tainted atmosphere can affect our thinking without us realizing it. Hell’s methods of sabotage are common and familiar, so they often go unnoticed while they undermine those who pray and their prayers. But you can rest assured that even if we don’t see or hear of the felled “Goliaths”, we will feel the effects of their demise in our world. The declaration stirred me to agreement and prayer because the fall of subterranean Goliaths directly relates to my prayer of the last two years: “Lord, avenge the children”. The fall of subterranean forces this year will be relief from atrocities against children as God’s justice brings down the giants behind abuse and trafficking, no matter who they are or what sewer they work within. On Jan. 28th, one week before the February/March issue of SEEC Magazine made it to print, we heard that a tunnel was discovered from Mexico into the U.S.A. in southern California. It is the longest smuggling tunnel (4309 feet) ever found in the U.S.A. (now numerous other, larger tunnels have been discovered); and they mentioned it was likely used for human trafficking as well as drug running. Subterranean Goliaths are getting taken down!

Melissa — As we move forward with tenacity and God frustrates the devices of the wicked, we will each begin to see our place in the upcoming future. Let me go a little farther 
regarding this place we will hold by mentioning the wealth transfer in Proverbs 13:22 that’s about to get real! I’ve heard about the wealth transfer from sinner to the just all of my life, but I’ve never seen it like I do now. The reason the rest of this year is so important is because the great wealth transfer is not about someone just handing money to us. It’s about taking the place of the wicked and possessing the land for the Kingdom of God. Remember those seven mountains we have talked about for years? It’s about us taking the empty spots on those mountains after God deals out Job 5:12. Those that fought at Iwo Jima were part of the generation that has been labeled “The greatest”. Let’s be tenacious and lay hold of the grace that is readily available to us to be the greatest Kingdom generation yet!

As the people of God assemble around the family table or the TV or the computer screen, may they give themselves fully to The Potter, the Master Molder and Shaper 
of vessels, knowing that The Potter is never without purpose and He knows just how to work the clay to form the vessel for the right time and the right place. In Jn.14:1 when Jesus is instructing His disciples to not let their hearts be troubled, Jesus is saying, “Stop putting your thoughts on those things, consciously and 
determinedly steer your thoughts back on to Me”. That does not mean you put your head in the sand, it means putting your focus where it belongs. There were probably disciples saying, “But I know the waves are there! I am sitting in 6in. of water!” But the answer is not in focusing on the waves but focusing on Him who is so desiring to pull me up out of the waves and on Him who is so desirous to stop the waves. “We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us…” (Heb.12:2a, TPT)

Melissa — While Iwo Jima is known as an “in-by-inch” battle, another interesting piece of the Iwo Jima battle is that the enemy was all underground and in caves. 
Our troops were out in the open while the enemy attacked from out of sight. Man, if that don’t preach! Unless you have completely gone off the grid you are aware of the bombardment we have been under and how it feels eerily similar to this type of warfare structure. It’s been a nasty siege but I am quickly reminded that, “He frustrates the devices and schemes of the crafty, so that their hands cannot attain success or achieve anything of [lasting] worth.” (Job 5:12 AMP) The enemy thinks he has the upper hand, but I think he forgets that God knows where he is hiding.

Melissa — I feel something big churning as of late. I do know that some of it is about the decade, but more importantly I believe this discernment is about getting ready for the rest of 2020. I believe that the latter part of 2020 is very significant to 
how we enter the rest of the decade. As I write this I see a picture of the American flag being raised by brave Marines at Iwo Jima during World War II. In researching this battle this statement stuck out, “The battle was won by the inch-by-inch tenacity of the foot soldier,” (Iwojima.com). 2020 will be won “by the inch-by-inch tenacity of the foot soldier,” right now. For those that struggle with an all-or-nothing drive, (like me) the statement “inch-by-inch tenacity” can be almost devastating. I really prefer a battle being done in a one-glorious-moment tenacity! Here’s the thing with the remainder of 2020, the inch-by-inch is going to lead to many glorious moments in the coming years. (This is the first excerpt from Melissa’s article “Something Churning”.)

Melissa — In a conversation with a dear friend, regarding why some things have still not happened, this hit me: We want fast answers (basically bandaids). The long-lasting, deep, most satisfying things take longer because we have to have the understanding and character to not only attain them but to sustain them. This kept coming back to me all day. It has been one of those kind of days where I have been hearing about the sovereignty of God unfolding in friends’ lives (that which God has 
been doing all along coming to the point where we can see it). It’s been that kind of day where one quietly sits back and realizes your mouth is hanging open in awe. Here we are in a new decade and the above mentioned unfolding is happening on a more and more steady basis. I believe we need to get ready for it to increase even more! I already know that this year is going to be something else. It’s not going to be a stroll in the park, but hear me out. What is opening up already is going to be fuel for, not only the rest of the year but, the decade ahead! There’s no need to be afraid or worry about being ready. You are already ready. The sovereign plan of God is unfolding in our lives right now and His plan is far more powerful than any dark agenda in high places. Kathy — Seeing clearly with our natural eyes is called 20/20 vision. I believe as we 
head on into 2020 that we are in a God-planned time in history to see more clearly than ever before. I declare that understanding and clarity are coming to both physical eyes and the eyes of our soul and spirit. I truly expect keener vision and perceptivity in the months ahead that will equip us for successful and effectual days of walking out the purposes of God in our lives. Simon Purvis — Just wanting Jesus to return and take up a sword to avenge is the thinking of people who do not believe the Gospel is powerful enough to change a nation. His sword comes out of His mouth and His Gospel is powerful enough to 
shake and change nations and bring His government order in the earth. His Kingdom is ever increasing and the government is upon His shoulders, and of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end. The only one-world order coming is the Kingdom of God where Christ is King. The attempted one-world order that evil is trying to build, is just a carnal counterfeit to the real Kingdom of God coming to earth as in heaven. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” Jesus said His kingdom comes to get into the hearts of men to govern them from the inside. Melissa — We are in the midst of a seriously sobering season. We are in the thick of the increase of His perpetually increasing government (Isaiah 9:7). Awakening 
won’t be limited to the American church’s view of what it should look like to be most effective. Awakening is going to seep through the cracks in the foundation of the American church and reform it. Awakening brings reformation. We better be ready for awakening to bring some shock and awe too! It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, (Eph. 5:12-13 NLT) This awakening is going deep. It’s going to shed light on things that have been going on under our noses but we haven’t seen it because we have been asleep. It will be shocking, but that is why reformation comes with it. Reform will deal with evil. (Melissa is speaking at KC2020 Mar.5, 10:00am)

Recently I was engaged in a heavy spiritual war. Historically, such wars would easily be handled by binding and loosing in the authority that God provides all believers. That said, this particular engagement was not responding to the normal warfare tactics that have served me well for many years. I soon realized I was in a spiritual conflict that was well above my pay grade to eradicate.
Because of this, I engaged in a fast-and-prayer season that lasted for months as I sought to determine what had engaged me so heavily. Finally, one early morning the Holy Spirit awakened me with a download of the spiritual situation I was experiencing. I am so thankful that when we call upon the Lord, He answers and reveals spiritual matters that are perplexing us (Jeremiah 33:3). After I wrote down each word I heard, I asked the logical question, “So, what do I do to turn this situation?” The answer followed, “Posture yourself in the Triumph that I Am.”
Once again, I hear the instruction regarding posture. However, this posturing was not physical but spiritual in nature. It was a clear directive to set my spirit and mindset in an attitude and unwavering faith of the triumph that Jesus IS! It speaks of strategic positioning much like a military tactic for the purpose of overtaking an enemy force. This was a word of God’s faith to me to rise above the conflict and be liberated from its intent to steal, kill, and destroy.
