God’s Mercies New Every Morning
Rather than trust God for courage to walk out one day at a time relying on Him for daily supply, the Israelites resigned themselves to sliding back into the old faithless rut (Ex.3:7). A lot of folks find it difficult to trust that God’s mercies are, indeed, “new every morning.” (Lam.3:22-23) We want a guarantee of comfort by having it all before we step out of the boat. Jesus said pray, “give us our daily bread.” (Matt.6:11)

As God Leads
Kathy — We can repent of putting preference above obedience and of failing to honor God’s set-in leaders, with all their warts and bruises. We can either pray for their imperfections or we can refuse to team up as God leads and then we can just march around Isolation Mountain again! The only thing more dangerous than giving into the temptation to undermine God’s spiritual authority is believing you could never do that! Rom.13:7, KJV – “Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.”

Present Facts
As the people of God assemble today they must beware of reaching a point where they are merely dwelling on just the present facts. “Such and such” circumstances/factors may be the present facts but they are not the conclusion of the matter. In the Bible, present facts and final conclusions always looked very different from one another. Phil.1:6 — “I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].”

Fleeing in Seven Ways
The disciples confronted the storm on the lake but Jesus contradicted it with peace. When Jesus said to His disciples that He had been given all authority in heaven and on earth and then commissioned them to disciple nations, that was the announcement that believers had now become the embodiment of the Kingdom like He was. We have the same authority and power to contradict darkness. Deut.28:7 –“The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way, but flee before you seven ways.”

Too Wise to Act Irrationally
Some hyper-zealous folks would have us believe that the reason we don’t have more “thanks” to give is because we just don’t have enough faith… like… they do. Let us remember that though we don’t get everything we think we should when we pray, God is too wise to act irrationally and too compassionate to be cruel. Great is His faithfulness Lam.3:22-24 — “It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His [tender] compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. 24 ‘The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,’ says my soul; ‘Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.’”

True Grit
As the people of God assemble today may they be infused with true grit and be inspired to be willing to go the distance many others are not; be willing to face what many others are not; be willing to resist what many others are not; be willing to do what many others are not. May each one be infused with determination for the King and His Kingdom that is born of higher stuff than mere stubbornness. Rom.12:11-12, TPT — “Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let him fill you with excitement as you serve him. 12 Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble, but commune with God at all times.”

No Weapon Formed
Melissa — While thinking about recent events I had to deal with, the scripture Isaiah 54:17 “no weapon formed against you will prosper” came up again. This time, however, I saw it differently. I think a lot of times this is used as a defensive scripture when really it is an offensive scripture. God equips us for the weapon BEFORE, not after, it is formed against us. The reason the weapon doesn’t prosper is because He already set countermeasures in place prior to its launch. He already equipped you with everything necessary to walk out of this battle in tact. That, my friends, is an offensive scripture loaded for battle!

Shadow and Light
As the people of God assemble today may they be encouraged that He Who is the Truth is bringing the light of truth to bear upon the false, the lies, the attempts at misdirection in both sight and sound in what is reported and purported as facts in national news. May the people of God know that He is nudging workers of darkness out of their shadows and truth will be coming forth in coming months that will cause works of unrighteousness to point back at their perpetrators so that justice may be served and those who have been recipients of injustice may be avenged. Job 34:2-23, Msg — ““He has his eyes on every man and woman. He doesn’t miss a trick. There is no night dark enough, no shadow deep enough, to hide those who do evil. God doesn’t need to gather any more evidence; their sin is an open-and-shut case.”

Angels Sent to Intervene
My niece dreamed that she was in her kitchen sautéing some onions. Her dad, who had passed away the previous year, stood in the doorway of her kitchen. Scrunching his nose at the strong odor he asked her, “What is that smell?” She answered that it was just onions frying. He shook his head and said, “No, that smells like gas.” As soon as he said the word “gas,” she awoke and sat up in bed. Immediately she smelled the gas. Running to the kitchen she found a burner which had not been completely shut off. The gas fumes had slowly been filling the house since supper earlier that evening.
Her Heavenly Father sent special forces to her rescue. Like a Navy Seal Special Ops, the dream was a timely intervention behind the scenes to stop an explosive attack before it reached success. Who but God could dispatch the exact messenger who would represent the authority and particular skills needed to bring her to a wake up call. The messenger was in her earthly father’s likeness not only to represent trustworthy and sound counsel, but her earthly father had also been a fire chief for years!
The angels on assignment came in her dream to bring an un-carnal weapon for her victory. Many people have had similar dreams and experiences and I’m sure some have experienced angelic intervention without realizing it. I believe we can expect even more reports of God sending angels from His arsenal to intervene in the affairs of men in days ahead.

Promised-Land-Possessor Mindset.
We live in a nation that must be turned to God. There are many difficult nation-affecting challenges before us and the coming generation. Every challenge and difficulty that we do not meet and overcome in our generation is weight that gets added to the load of difficulties that our children will have to deal with, and that is added on top of the ones they will have to handle in their own generation. Those challenges require much more than a viewpoint which expresses a belief that they will be met and adequately handled by divine fiat in a time period that is yet to come. The Israelite generation exiting Egypt viewed the challenges before them as giants and themselves as grasshoppers (Num.13:33). The giant/grasshopper mindset was not a Promised-Land-possessor mindset. After the giant/grasshopper mindset generation died off, there finally arose fathers (Josh.14:10-13) with a gonna-take-that-mountain mindset that produced a take-the-land-mentality generation—not a generation of mere survivors, but one of possessors. Can’t Learn to Live With Evil
There has been a proliferation of evil unleashed upon the earth and every nation is reeling from its blast. Many are taking precautions that have radically changed their routine. But evil cannot be tolerated and we must not ever resign ourselves to learn to live with it. Staying close to home or beefing up security will not solve anything. We will find in days to come that we must deal with evil. Prov.14:22, TPT — “Haven’t you noticed how evil schemers always wander astray? But kindness and truth come to those who make plans to be pure in all their ways.”

Don’t Sweat the Small Things
Kathy — While intercessors should not sweat the small things, neither should we ignore them. The Word tells us to consider the impact of small things like the small rudder that directs a huge ship. Again in Zech. 4:10, we are admonished not to despise small beginnings because their impact will be big in future. Many times intercessory dreams and visions and impressions seem faint or small, yet they actually carry insights that prove crucial or huge down the road. Awareness
Melissa — Now, what is our part in this next season? Awareness. We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this. (MELISSA is speaking at DREAMS VISIONS PROPHECY 2020. Strategic Dreams
Kathy — I have sensed for several months that the Body of Christ is in an important time of transition into new norms. One of the new norms I believe we can expect is strategic dreams that equip us for the purposes of God. I consider strategic dreams to be those timely telegrams that confirm direction or give instruction or release insight and understanding for a mandate and call to action.

Save Our Children From Bullies
May the Lord step in and save our children from bullies in this school year, whether on campus or off campus. May the bullies be shut down and learn that they cannot abuse others. “My God, free me from the grip of Wicked, from the clutch of Bad and Bully. You keep me going when times are tough— my bedrock, God, since my childhood.” Ps.71:4-5, Msg)

Consider Dreams Through Godly Filters
Kathy — Having dreams and visions does not make anyone more spiritual or more
discerning or more valuable to the Kingdom of God. Neither are dreams and visions a license to contradict or disregard the Word of God or the character of God or the counsel of the godly. In fact, dreams and visions should be considered through just such godly filters as we search for their interpretation and purpose. Prov.11:14, NKJV — “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” (Kathy will be speaking on “Dreams and Visions” at DREAMS VISIONS AND PROPHECY Sept.11-13, 2020__No Fee. The Lord’s Prayer Requests
As the people of God assemble today, may our Lord’s prayer requests be prayed by His people. May those things He desires on earth, in the lives of people and nations be prayed in agreement with His heart and purposes. “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt.6:9-10, NKJV)

Your Day of Walking Out
You can be a slave to fear, heritage or habit. In the master-slave relationship there is a demand and response required. Those enslaving factors put demands on you and you spend your days responding. Defeats will linger on in your life for as long as you are willing to learn to live with them. But the Lamb has already been sacrificed and this is your day of walking out! Ex.12:31, NASB — “Then he called for Moses and Aaron at night and said, “Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the sons of Israel; and go, worship the Lord, as you have said.”

Carrying What the Nation Needs
Melissa — We carry what our nation and the world needs, and you can change things from where you are at this moment. God used a remnant of people time and time again to make big changes. He’s God, a tiny dose of His power can turn this nation right-side up! Our new motto for this unconventional year and beyond can be: As goes the remnant, so goes the nation. The Master is Unconventional
While dealing with the wind and waves of a violent storm, the disciples were not expecting anything unconventional from Jesus. Ps.50:21 “These things you have
done, and I kept silence; you thought that I was just like you; I will reprove you, and state {the case} in order before your eyes.” (NAS) They may have been thinking that He was like them, being subject to the same limitations they were subject to. They were expecting conventional things from an unconventional Savior. If only they could have grasped the concept that He is THE MASTER OF THE STORM. After Jesus had calmed the storm in Mk 4:41, they asked one another, “What manner of man is this?” (KJV). In other translations it reads “Who is this?” Not fully knowing who He was, and was therefore capable of, little did they know that He would be coming to join them walking on the water! If your logic is questioning, “What manner of man is this?”, the answer is, The Master Of The Storm. When the Master is called on and relied on, it is possible to get unconventional results in an unconventional year, for He has power over the power that threatens, even over the storm.

“Logical” Doesn’t Mean “Necessary”
Israel had, for four hundred years, been in a situation where they knew what to
expect each and every day. Their surroundings were so familiar that they had become acceptable. Their situation was identifiable. They could understand to the point that they could logically describe it. But “logical” doesn’t mean “necessary”. It was not all that easy to walk away from yesterday — especially something you had “learned to live with.” But you don’t have to learn to live with anything that is not part of God’s purpose. Ps.138:7-8, TPT — “By your mighty power I can walk through any devastation and you will keep me alive, reviving me. Your power set me free from the hatred of my enemies. 8 You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!”
