Speaking of Expectancy

Kathy Gabler—When speaking of expectancy, I’m not talking about false fantasies constructed in moments of distraction, but genuine anticipation that comes from hours, weeks and years of effort and pressing on.  After enduring twenty years of  Philistine oppression, Israel hit the threshold of expectancy and tasted the beginning of deliverance through Samson.  After twenty years of enduring his father-in-law’s manipulations, Jacob finally breathed in the fragrance of expectancy and took possession of his wives, his property and his future.  Twenty is the biblical number of expectancy, the kind of expectancy that comes after a long wait, a finally, an expected end.  Biblical expectancy is the point when preparation  brings results, the point when process yields fruit, the point when equipping fits its purpose.  Expectancy isn’t a luxury, it is a necessity because it is both fuel for the journey and the light at the end of the tunnel.

The Saving Power of Jesus Christ

Marty Gabler—As the people of God assemble today may people be saved, healed and delivered by the saving power of Jesus Christ and His shed blood at Calvary.  “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” (Rom.1:16a, NKJV)

God Keeps Planets in Orbit

Marty Gabler—God keeps the stars shining and keeps the planets in orbit and, the whole time, He never loses track of a single sparrow. How much more does He watch over and get involved in the future of His children?   1Pe.4:12,Msg—“Friends, when life gets really difficult, don’t jump to the conclusion that God isn’t on the job.”

War in the Atmosphere

Melissa Gabler—There is a war in the atmosphere over our nation. It’s like a virus that causes complete irrationality brought on by the stubborn refusal to take personal responsibility. This “virus” was released by an evil agenda to build a one-world dictatorship in the “land of the free and the home of the brave”! How? By coddling, and stroking the broken. By wooing them with band-aids, and promising them “Kool-aid”. Instead of teaching people they don’t have to be a victim of their circumstances, this “virus” took advantage of their emotional state for it’s own selfish, ungodly gain. Well, guess what, “There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 9:7 AMP) It’s happening folks!

Thankful for God Almighty’s Intentions

Kathy Gabler — On the day of disobedience in the garden, Adam and Eve knew their behavior contradicted their relationship and their righteousness, so they hid. Nothing was neutral or innocent anymore. From that day on everything fell short of God’s intentions. Thousands of years later Jesus came to restore and made it possible to reach God’s intentions again. (1Co.15:22)   And so, on this special day of the year, our hearts are turned to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in THANKSGIVING for His sacrificial and redemptive acts of love in our behalf. We receive them and what He has procured through them that we may gratefully bring glory to His Wonderful Name.   “And let the peace from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And BE THANKFUL (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].” (Col.3:15, Amp)

Awareness of our Lord and Giving Thanks

Marty Gabler—Why not a LIFESTYLE of THANKSGIVING? This Thanksgiving, may our hearts and minds be so turned to awareness of our Lord and to the giving of thanks to our Lord, that if He were to send in among us “angels unawares” (Heb.13:2), they would witness people who know the righteous God that they know, in the way that they know Him and honor Him. May such messenger/observers witness our living out our thanks rather than only vocalizing it occasionally. EPH.5:4-20, NKJV—“4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, BUT RATHER GIVING OF THANKS… 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words… 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord… 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness… 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 GIVING THANKS ALWAYS for all things to God the Father in the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST…”

The Remnant and the Nation

Melissa Gabler— We/YOU carry what our nation and the world needs, and you can change things from where you are at this moment. God used a remnant of people time and time again to make big changes. He’s God, a tiny dose of His power can turn this thing upside-down! Our new motto for the end of the year and beyond:  “As goes the remnant, so goes the nation”.

Accusation and Condemnation

Kathy Gabler—Accusation and condemnation flooded into man’s thinking in such abundance that the devil and people rarely have to lift an accusing finger at us. We have such intricate lists of what is good and what is evil, that we accuse and condemn ourselves without even looking for a lawyer. The problem with this legalistic lifestyle is that we assume our shortcomings are more powerful than the Christ that lives in us. (1Jn.3:20)

We Give Thanks

Marty Gabler–As the people of God assemble today, may they lift their voices, their hearts and hands and sing thanksgiving unto the Lord God for all His beneficent blessings toward us. For God is good and greatly to be praised.   “[ A Song of Praise ] Come, let us praise the Lord! Let us sing for joy to God, who protects us! Let us come before him with thanksgiving and sing joyful songs of praise.” Psalm 95:1-2 GNT

God Has Not Abandoned You

Marty Gabler—May hope arise within the hearts of weary ones and may dreams be revived in the lives of discouraged ones, and may they lift their hands and declare on clear voices that our God does not forget His covenant or His mercies to a thousand generations. May the Lord do a redeeming work in you that He may bring forth through your life what He intended from the beginning. May He redeem and restore everything that the enemy has tried to destroy in you.  (Deut.4:31, GW)  “The LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not abandon you, destroy you, or forget the promise to your ancestors that he swore he would keep.” We are praying you discover daily that merciful God has not abandoned you.

A Representative of Heaven

Melissa — You are a representative of heaven during your lifetime. “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9, Amplified)

Where is my Harvest?

Kathy — Some might be thinking, “Well, I’ve interceded for years. Where in the world is my harvest?” I believe it is possible to fail to recognize harvest. How many suddenlies and blessings to us or our families have we thought random, knowing we didn’t pray for them? Well, someone did! “We have not because we ask not.” (Js.4:2) So, if we do have — that means someone did ask!

My Soul Pants for God

Marty Gabler—As the regal deer ran with all his strength, he eventually outdistanced the four-legged hunters that hungrily pursued him. Finding a pleasant water brook shaded by great oaks, he slowed his pace and drew in deep breaths of fresh air while his racing heart pounded vigorously in his ears. Though still cautious and though very weary, he lowered his head to the cool, life-giving liquid and drank his fill.   No doubt, the Psalmist had witnessed just such a scene in the wilderness and had, himself, been relentlessly pursued by a crafty foe. He identified with being winded and with the threat of pursuit as well as with the deep desire for only that which can satisfy and renew the whole being. We join the deer and the Psalmist and turn our thirst to the only One who can satisfy and refresh us who have been pursued. For today, we shall continue resolutely on our journey, having been refreshed by The Living Water of life.  “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.” (Ps.42:1, NKJV)

A Nation’s Heart Transplant

MELISSA–To sum up a vision I had of God doing a heart transplant, there is a major transplant being done on this nation.  It is not only getting a new heart but the breath of God is going to blow through the nation and through the core, the innermost being of this nation. This is not a surface thing happening, this is a deep internal work God is doing.  He is restructuring this nation from the inside out.  This restructuring is going to cause the church to come to life and that which has been a stagnate, lifeless memorial to the past way of doing things is being replaced with new life that will continue to grow and give life.  The old structures are coming down to make way for the new which is alive and thriving.

Encouragement for Those who Intercede

Kathy Gabler— A word of encouragement for those who intercede: Seedtime and harvest is an established law of God (Gen.8:22). That thought might surprise some, but how could God not perform His Word? Gal.6:7 promises a crop of whatever we sow. When we cover others in prayer, why would we doubt Father will stir others to prayer in our behalf? Gal.6:7, TPT — “Make no mistake about it, God will never be mocked! For what you plant will always be the very thing you harvest.”

Only Mighty God

Marty Gabler–As the people of God assemble today, may there be such an anointing of the power of Almighty God upon our ministers (in speaking the Word and in performing the Word) that people cannot help but say, “That can only be the power of God”.  Lk.3:6,CEV—“Then everyone will see the saving power of God.”

Getting Past Things That Oppose Us

MARTY GABLER—Our salvation is enough to get us past things that oppose us. “The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower.”  (Ps.18:2, Amp) “The Lord is my Light and my Salvation—whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” (Ps.27:1, Amp)

Shaking and Reseting the Church

Melissa Gabler—Be aware of doubt, unbelief, skepticism and rationalism in your life. Catch it and counter it with truth in the Word as the Holy Spirit leads. Take time to worship. Get past the song, and worship the One Who is worthy! Watch out for materialism and self-focus.  They are bait to draw you into a fruitless and dark place. It’s time to get serious because I believe WE THE CHURCH are about to be shaken to a full-on reset. The veil between the spirit realm and our natural one is getting thinner and thinner, and it’s all because His Kingdom is coming to this earth and evil is being driven out. The days ahead are going to be uncomfortable yet phenomenal. It’s an adventure each of us was made to walk… together.

Dreams That Communicate

KATHY—The Holy Spirit sometimes gives you a word of wisdom which reveals a dream’s message. However, it is just as fulfilling to get to the message, meaning and purpose through the process of prayerfully searching them out. We can sit at the Lord’s feet and lean against His knee and ponder the pieces of a dream.  Sometimes we don’t even have to completely dismantle the dream to get the gist of it, but it if it does require more effort, then we research the Bible and reference books and friends until the concepts connect and open our understanding.  God created dreams and visions to communicate and He will certainly help us get to understanding.

Calling Things What God Calls Them

Marty Gabler—It is possible to call things something they are not and get into disagreement with God. It is also possible to call things into existence that have not yet existed to the glory of God. We must be cautious about getting into agreement with typically labeling people and situations and begin to speak what God’s Word and will are concerning them.   I declare that we will take advantage of every opportunity to speak life and not death, to speak blessing and not cursing, to speak hope and not despair, to speak a way out for those who are in captivity instead of cursing their captivity, and to speak solutions instead of merely observing and reporting impossibilities.  Rom 4:17  “As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.”

Trust is a Principle

Melissa Gabler–Trust is a principle of the Kingdom. God knew what He was doing
when He created it. It’s life bearing, abundant life bearing. How beautiful
it is that the principles of God are set in place to provide the John 10:10
abundant life for all who live them. He gave us a map for life. Check this
out, Psalm 84:12 (AMP) “O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation].” Yes, that is beautiful. But check out the rest of Psalm 84. It literally lines out what a life looks like that trusts God. Vs. 4 “Blessed and greatly favored
are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; They will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah.” Blessing and favor follow those who trust. Vs. 6 “Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; The early rain also covers it with blessings.”

The Latter Glory of our Lives

KATHY GABLER–Amazingly, God promised even more than this powerful peace that we need. Listen to the rest of the promise: The latter glory of our lives, (our future) will be greater! (Hag.2:9) In future, we will do what we were born to do, more loudly, more intensely, more fruitfully than ever before! We are on the threshold of seeing more of the presence and plan of God manifest in our lives than ever before. We are on the verge of experiencing dimensions of His power like never before. We dare not give up now. God will faithfully weave our experiences, good, bad and ugly, into His good plans for our future life . . . if we will refuse to give up!

Encourage to Sensible Actions

Marty Gabler—As the people of God assemble today may each admonish the other. May each speak and encourage one another to sensible actions as matters are brought up in conversation; for the Word and wisdom of God dwell in His people that they might encourage one another on to sound principles applied in life’s trials.  “Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.” (Rom.15:14, NKJV)

Partner With Yahweh

Marty—In spite of some past inferences we might have heard concerning prayer, Yahweh is not a celestial bellboy waiting in an anteroom for us to ring a bell to do what we require. Rather, in prayer, we partner with God for His purposes in our lives and in this earth. Jesus went apart from the crowd to pray so that He might find how to partner with His Father so He could glorify Him (Jn.5:19).  Jn.12:27, (The Passion Translation) — “Even though I am torn within, and my soul is in turmoil, I will not ask the Father to rescue me from this hour of trial. For I have come to fulfill my purpose—to offer myself to God.”
