As the people of God assemble today may they fix their eyes on Jesus who endured the cross, despised the shame and is now set down at the right hand of the throne of God. May they know that Jesus rose from the dead because there was more to come. “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Heb.12:1-2, NAU)

As the Word of God says, “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken” (Heb.12:27). For more than 2,000 years the prayers of the saints have been going up to the throne of God in obedience to the instruction of our Lord when He required His disciples to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” God Almighty has not been deaf upon His throne. Just like rats scurrying to get out of a collapsing building, the powers and principalities in second heaven are feeling the pressure of Third Heaven coming into the earth (Mt.6:10). They are scurrying about the earth and our nation affecting everything and everyone that will allow it and they are attempting, through willing dupes, to dismantle everything they can. Throughout history, when a retreating army leaves an area, they burn and dismantle everything they can so that their enemy cannot use it to their advantage. We should not, at all, be surprised at the attempts to dismantle the Word of God and the institutions that uphold it and our constitution. Hence, our faith, prayers and unwavering availability must facilitate the coming of heaven into earth.

When Joshua saw the man with the sword in his hand he asked, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” (Josh 5:13) The man said, “No.” Joshua met someone who was not evil that was not on his side. He had to stop and think. We are so concerned about our causes, our comfort and our interests that we seldom stop to find out what God’s causes and interests are in a region or in a season. Many are asking, “What is going on?” I think God is probably asking, “Who is on My side?” “Who truly has My interests at heart?” “Occupy till . . .” (Lk.19:13) sounds like: don’t stop doing anything I have ordained you to do with any less faith, dedication, enthusiasm or determination! What is going on? What is going on is that “what can be shaken” (Heb.12:27) is being shaken until all that is left standing is an unshakeable Kingdom. Heb 3:14 If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul. (The Message)

As the people of God assemble today let us pray that, in coming days, they shun the distractions of culture and the lies of the evil one and “strip off every unnecessary weight and those sins that easily and cleverly entangle us, so that we can persistently run the race” that is worth running. The great cloud of witnesses surround us and our Great Intercessor is at the right hand of God on high praying for our victory! (Heb.12:11)

As the people of God assemble today may they radically praise, worship, preach and prophesy of the righteous order of God coming into the heart of this nation. May their hearts never wilt because of the unrighteous and the plans of the unrighteous but know and trust that “we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom [and] we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe.” (Heb.12:28,TPT)

We must stand firm and solid upon the Word of God for we have been given a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Heb.12:28, Amp — “Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe;” We must (1) pray every opportunity that arises; (2) call ourselves and others into alignment with the written Word of God and with prophecy (we mustn’t speak out disagreement with the Word and what we have prayed and declared); (3) speak the opposite of what we see. Back when the mask emphasis was being so stressed a woman left the service at Grace and went to a store. A man was not standing right on the tape square for social distancing and the woman behind him began screaming at him and he began screaming back at her. The whole atmosphere was in an uproar. The lady from Grace just began to quietly declare the peace of Jesus and the whole thing quieted down and everyone went through the line without any further disturbance. Ps.4:8, Amp — “In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust. Isa.33:22, TPT—”The Lord Yahweh is our judge, our Lawgiver, and our King; He will save us completely!”

“See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God… like Esau (Heb.12:15-16). Grace was available but a man who was not willing to push down some hunger pain in the present season never reached the season of walking in his birthright (v.17). The cheapness he willingly gave himself to is an eternal reminder of the tremendous cost of his unwillingness to govern self’s appetites for that which was to come.

When Joshua saw the man with the sword in his hand he asked, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” (Josh. 5:13) The man said, “No.” Joshua met someone who was not evil that was not on his side. He had to stop and think. We are so concerned about our causes, our comfort and our interests that we seldom stop to find out what God’s causes and interests are in a region or in a season. Many are asking, “What is going on?” I think God is asking, “Who is on MY side?” “Who truly has my interests at heart?” What is going on? What is going on is that what can be shaken is being shaken until all that is left standing is an unshakeable Kingdom (Heb.12:27). Occupy till . . . sounds like: don’t stop doing anything I have ordained you to do with any less faith, dedication, or enthusiasm. Melissa—Our stance in this season is standing — standing on the truth that our magnificent God is doing something BIG. He is establishing His plan for 2021 and beyond. We GET to be a part of this. We GET to be a change agent simply by standing. Yes, YOU have what is needed for this moment. Now is not the time to throw your hands up. Now is the time to take a deep breath and watch the glorious show unfolding in the days ahead. Yes, there will be shockers. BUT all we need to know is that those shockers are proof that God is shaking what can be shaken (Heb.12:27-28)! Thankful to be Your daughter, my King. “The kingdom of God doesn’t come by counting the days on the calendar. Nor when someone says, ‘Look here!’ or, ‘There it is!’ And why? Because God’s kingdom is already among you.” (Luke 17:21 MSG) It’s time to wake up, and be who we were born to be. Let’s win this war, as God has intended.

In Jn.14:1 when Jesus is instructing His disciples to not let their hearts be troubled, Jesus is saying, “Stop putting your thoughts on those things, consciously and 
determinedly steer your thoughts back on to Me”. That does not mean you put your head in the sand, it means putting your focus where it belongs. There were probably disciples saying, “But I know the waves are there! I am sitting in 6in. of water!” But the answer is not in focusing on the waves but focusing on Him who is so desiring to pull me up out of the waves and on Him who is so desirous to stop the waves. “We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us…” (Heb.12:2a, TPT)

As long as there is a kingdom of darkness and a Kingdom of Light there will be opposition. We must understand that the kingdom of darkness does not simply exist but it is forcefully moving against all that it hates with the intent to dismantle all that does not agree with it. But we have an unshakeable Kingdom! (Heb.12:28)

God promises to shake everything that can be shaken. It is His solemn word and 
something that He will not do half-heartedly. We have an unshakeable Kingdom (Heb.12:28) because we have an unchanging Person, Jesus (Heb.13:8). The religious system and practices of the church are being shaken as well as the systems of this world. The kingdom cannot be shaken. The authority and power of God to act sovereignly through His people cannot be shaken. His truths and redemptive government that releases the captive cannot be shaken. But the systems of misbelief and the systems that sustain the agendas of men are most definitely being shaken.

As the people of God assemble today may they be encouraged by the examples of 
faith they have in the Word of God of those who hoped in the promises of the Almighty and pressed forward in patient endurance looking unto the Author and Finisher of our faith. “Such a large crowd of witnesses is all around us! As the people of God assemble today may they fix their eyes on Jesus who endured the cross, despised the shame and is now set down at the right hand of the throne of God as 
the Victorious Lamb. May they know that Jesus rose from the dead because there was more to come. “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 FIXING OUR EYES ON JESUS, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Heb.12:1-2, NAU)

The only place your gift (or hope or dream God has put in you) will do no good is under the ashes of hurts, self indulgence and neglected vows. If there is anyone not wanting that gift stirred, it is not God. God enables (1Tim.1:12) and motivates (Rom.15:13;Heb.12:2-3). No pleasure nor morbid sense of humor can make Him call someone, give gifts to them and then turn around and pummel their dreams into powder.
