The Cost of the Coming Season
“See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God… like Esau (Heb.12:15-16). Grace was available but a man who was not willing to push down some hunger pain in the present season never reached the season of walking in his birthright (v.17). The cheapness he willingly gave himself to is an eternal reminder of the tremendous cost of his unwillingness to govern self’s appetites for that which was to come.
