Melissa—I believe the awakening we have heard about for a decade, and are currently experiencing, is an awakening to the fear of the Lord. We are indeed headed into not only understanding but living in the fear of the Lord. I grew up hearing that the fear of the Lord is awe, reverence and respect for God, and it is, but there is still more. Here’s how the Holy Spirit presented it to me awhile back, “Either you are bowing your knee in awe and reverence to Me or you are bowing your knee in tolerance and submission to everything else.”

Reason for Going to War
Kathy—I’ve always thought the only reason to go to war is to win, but I’m beginning to realize there are other reasons for warfare. Some battles are a matter of training our soul (our mind and will and emotions) to stand and develop muscle to be able to stand no matter what. Eph. 6:13 puts it this way: “And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm.” The goal of warfare can also be to take ground incrementally in Divine timing. There are many maneuvers needed to pull down strongholds in this present darkness. It is a bigger war than we can wage from one battlefield. This present darkness is a matter of world rulers that are spirit forces of wickedness in the spirit realm. These forces gather to form strongholds, and there they influence and manipulate people like puppets for their evil intents to kill, steal and destroy. That’s why Eph 6:12 tells us “we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.” These forces must be dismantled strategically and incrementally along with the workers of darkness they deploy into this present darkness.

LEAVE OUT THE COP-OUTS—If you spend any time around little children, you will realize that they are champions at excuses for not obeying or completing tasks. If allowed to carry that fall-back into their future without being expected to fulfill requirements put upon them it will result in their failure in tasks and in the proper development of their character.
It is good to realize our utter dependence upon God as long as we don’t shift it from humble recognition to excuse. (1Ki 3:7) “Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of David my father, and I am but a lad [in wisdom and experience]; I know not how to go out (begin) or come in (finish).” (Amp) That is an expression stating that he had not done what he is now being called upon to do – that he has no experience or knowledge of the matters awaiting him.
Many feel that they do not know how to walk out the remainder of 2022 because the last couple of years have proven to be matters and circumstances that we have never had to walk out before.
Proclaiming not knowing how to begin or end a thing shouldn’t be an excuse but rather an acknowledgement of Who does. Then, if we know Who does know how to begin and end a thing (Isa.46:10), we can yield to Him and His principles of enablement for and completing mandates and making necessary adjustments in preferences, appetites and emotions.

Calling for the Answer
Melissa — When we are calling on Almighty God, we don’t get to determine what the answer must be. That kind of determination is a prescription for indigestion. Why? Because we are working from a very limited soul-perspective of the situation with even more limited soul-solutions. This kind of limitation focuses on the impossible rather than the God of the impossible. He not only sees the problem, but where it came from (possibly from entitlement mindsets passed on through the bloodline?) and He sees the best solution for the complete fix. That right there is the kind of “great and mighty” answer we are truly looking for.

Breakthrough Bringing Changes
Kathy–I went to bed with a sense of a storm gathering and I fell asleep praying. I stirred once or twice with a definite awareness of war in the heavenlies. A little after 3:00 A.M., I awoke to the sounds of battle, swords clashing and noisy chaos. In a vision, I watched silhouettes in battle and knew I was seeing war in second heaven. I thought of the archangel Michael warring to get the answer to Daniel’s prayer to him and I realized this war was getting God’s will to earth again. I did not have the pulse of what God was doing or what prayers He was answering, so I knelt on the bed and asked Him, “How do I pray? What do I do?” But His answer was surprising, “Just watch what I’m doing.” So, I silently watched and waited for God’s outcome. Lightning flashed and thunder crashed so loudly in the vision that it seemed to be a real storm inside the hotel room until 3:45 A.M. When the battle sounds subsided, I could only hear the sound of rain, heavy rain. The vision continued. I saw the sides of a river being torn away by the force of gushing flood waters. I knew I was seeing a breakthrough that night that would bring changes as surely as the gushing waters were changing the course of that river. I was reminded of 2Sam.5:20, and Baal-perazim, which means “the Lord of breakthroughs” or the “Owner of breakthroughs”. I fell into a deep sleep, confident God was doing something awesome and had broken through opposition to get things from Heaven to earth.

God’s Promises Never Fail
As the people of God assemble today may they worship the name of the Most High God Yahweh because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. May they encourage one another to stand firm upon Him and His Word that cannot be shaken. May they gain courage and strength to face and overcome every storm that assails them. Faith, Prayers, Availability
As the Word of God says, “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken”. For 2,000 years the prayers of the saints have been going up to the throne of God in obedience to the instruction of our Lord when He taught His disciples to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” God Almighty has not been deaf upon His throne. Just like rats scurrying to get out of a collapsing building, the powers and principalities in second heaven are feeling the pressure of Third Heaven coming into the earth (Mt.6:10). They are scurrying about the earth and our nation affecting everything and everyone that will allow it and they are attempting, through willing dupes, to dismantle everything they can. Throughout history, when a retreating army leaves an area, they burn and dismantle everything they can so that their enemy cannot use it to their advantage. We should not, at all, be surprised at the attempts to dismantle the Word of God and the institutions that uphold it and our constitution. Hence, our faith, prayers and unwavering availability must facilitate the coming of heaven into earth.

Call Unto Me
Melissa–Let’s look at “Call to me and I will answer you” through a modern American paradigm: I call on the Lord and He will answer – I will tell Him what I need and He will give it to me because He is a loving God. You know, kind of like curbside grocery delivery. I took the time to get my list together and I took the time to call about this list. Now, it’s on Him to deliver! I’m afraid we North Americans operate out of an entitled mindset not only in our relationship with earthlings, but also in our relationship with God. If I call on Him then ________ (insert pre-determined answer here). The problem with an entitled relationship with God is where the entitlement is rooted. If it is rooted in the Spirit, according to the covenant, then it will put you in a posture of dominion. If, however, it is rooted in the soul then it will hold you in a victimized defensive posture. The soul will keep you chained out of reach of God’s original intent which is indeed dominion. Or said another way, the soul will keep you from being heaven on earth.

Nights of Weeping – Mornings of Joy
Kathy—In these times of trouble and civil unrest, the path to victory is . . . DAILY. We are to listen for God’s instructions . . . daily. We are to continue in the path of calling and purpose . . . daily. We are to trust the Lord with the battle whether it is without or within us . . . daily. There may be nights of weeping (Psa. 30:5) but joy comes with the morning when the Light reveals His perspective and gets us to effectual prayer and powerful results. Pray with confidence. None of us is a victim without recourse. Each of us can make a difference and be a part of civil war turning into civil victory with our prayers, with our voice and with our vote.

Getting to the Next Level
God takes us to a NEW LEVEL so we can be more aware, more sensitive, more discerning, more influential, so we can understand more in order that we can be more of an encouragement and blessing. He has been and is equipping us for that NEXT LEVEL of understanding and function. Father wants us to overcome present opposition so we might be prepared to meet the NEXT LEVEL of challenges. Now, and in the NEXT LEVEL, we are casting off doubting and fear and courageously reaching forward to Christ Jesus Who is so graciously reaching out to us. The theme for DVP2022 Sept.9-11 is “Getting to the Next Level”. We will be praying, teaching and receiving to be HEARING at the next level, SEEING at the next level and SPEAKING at the next level.
DVP2022 will be a special gathering where those of like heart will be inspired and equipped to hear their Lord in dreams, visions and prophecy. (See Job 33:15-16; Joel 2:28; Rom.12:6)
