Standing or Moving Forward
Melissa—The more we wake up the more we live as a son. I had a recent revelation about prayer. You know how sometimes you pray and pray and pray for something to change or manifest in your life and it seems like the prayer falls on deaf ears? The Lord showed me a picture of me just standing in one spot praying my repetitive prayer and nothing happening. Then He showed me a picture of me doing the same thing but instead of standing still I was moving forward, putting one foot in front of the other, continually moving ahead and reaching the answer. Then He broke it down for me. The first picture of standing still was a victim posture, staying in the same posture, waiting on a “magical moment” to change my circumstances. The second picture of moving forward was the posture of a son walking onward knowing there is good in God’s intention for my life which is ahead of me. So, let me say it this way, a victim waits for magic but a son walks in inheritance. I am waking up. Thank God. Awakening is upon us. Get ready. Being awake is a whole new state of existence. “For this reason He says, ‘Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light’.” (Ephesians 5:14 AMP) [Final segment of “Waking Up”]

Variables and the Storm
Kathy—There are variables in the hearts of everyone concerned. There are influences in the lives of everyone involved that interfere with embracing the will of God, but God is faithfully working all things toward His good plans and original intent for your family. Some Shock and Awe
Melissa—We better be ready for awakening to bring some shock and awe too! It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, (Eph.5:12-13,NLT) This awakening is going deep. It’s going to shed light on things that have been going on under our noses but we haven’t seen it because we have been asleep. It will be shocking, but that is why reformation comes with it. Reform will deal with evil.

Fear is Complex
Kathy—Exasperation is only on our side of any situation. Exasperation always boils down to our focus. Our focus is the desperate need, the unanswered prayers, and the injustice that we feel. And the tormenting factor that is at the root of all of that, is fear. And fear is complex. It is a fear of loss and a fear of unbearable consequences and at the same time a fear of personal failure.
The only antidote is to move our focus to God who does not fear. He sees much more than the details that torment us. And His nature and character do not change or bend under the weight of threats. The only way to step out of exasperation is to step into simple trust. God knows the details. God cares. And God will do what ever is possible to be done concerning our concerns.

Fear and Authority
Most everyone would admit, at some point, that they are fearful. Many things can drive the fears that deplete our hopes and expectancies. But, everything you fear operates on the authority of a government that is inferior to the government and King of the Kingdom of God. (Lk.2:11b, The Voice) “…He is the promised Anointed One, the Supreme Authority!” (Matt.4:23b, Msg) “[Jesus]… taught people the truth of God. God’s kingdom was His theme—that beginning right now they were under God’s government, a good government!” (Rom.13:1a, Msg) “All governments are under God.” (Col.2:10, GNT) “and you have been given full life in union with Him. Awakening Seeping Through
Melissa—When I was hearing about and thinking about awakening, did I really expect awakening to be all around me and not in me?! I guess I did and I guess I was very wrong. Thank God. We are in the midst of a seriously sobering season. We are in the thick of the increase of His perpetually increasing government (Isaiah 9:7). Awakening won’t be limited to the American church’s view of what it should look like to be most effective. Exasperations Without Benefit
(Kathy) 1st—There is no condemnation from the Lord for your exasperation. 2nd—Neither is there any benefit or leverage in your exasperation. Sometimes, to some of us, it may feel like there is because it feels like we have a case before God that He has to address. And certain exasperations get us to believing that our feelings make Him our Debtor because He won’t address it. But the truth is that God is a debtor to no man. Because He is good and cannot be anything else, He is not withholding or refusing to act. We have to focus on that TRUTH. We have to anchor our heart and emotions on truth rather than how we feel.

Not Manipulated
As the people of God assemble today may they find comfort in knowing and worshiping Him Who is not able to be manipulated by men and entities to change His purpose and plan to fit their agendas. He will ever remain true to His Word and His promises. There is no shadow of turning with Yahweh. Js.1:17,Amp—“There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle.”

Seasons, Order and God’s Throne
The faithful God who set the seasons in undeniable order remains on His throne so that His order and purposes will be accomplished in the earth. As certainly as there is a summer that turns into fall and a fall that turns into winter there is One who sits above the machinations of unregenerate, self-serving men. People of faith will, therefore, align themselves with His order and contradict the disorder of faithlessness—step by step and day by day. “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” (Gen.8:22, Amp)

Melissa—Many times I have heard that awakening is coming. Let me add that, more recently, I have been hearing words about not only awakening coming to the nations but to the church. Well, that also sounded really good and I have been all for that too! Still, being transparent, I wasn’t quite getting it yet. Sometimes it’s easy to point the finger at a church I think isn’t awake. I just know the Holy Spirit is like, “Aww, bless her heart. She thinks she’s awake!” Then He graciously begins to shake me out of my slumber and I can only fall silent in amazement. For this reason He says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.” (Ephesians 5:14 AMP) [Part 2 of “Waking Up”]

Waking Up
Melissa—Over the last several years I have heard many times that awakening is coming and I liked the sound of that! I’m all for it! I didn’t realize, however, until very recently that I had a very specific view of what that awakening would look like. Over the last month my perspective is being shifted and awakening is starting to look differently than I originally had it all figured out. So, I’m just going to be transparent about what I realized I was thinking it would look like.
I grew up in the church — like for real, grew up IN the church. My parents, grandpa, and many other family members were and are in ministry and I currently work on staff at my church. I’m saying all of this to help frame where my definition of awakening came from. My initial and long running view of awakening was, for the most part, that there would be some sort of mass experience that would cause people to look for, cry out for, or long for God. They would run to local churches or people they knew were Christians seeking to know their Creator and we would just have glorious services of people getting saved and set free and beautiful times of worship. Now, I’m not saying none of these elements will happen, but this is actually a very limited view of what awakening is. The Holy Spirit has been mercifully expressing that to me. I hope that in the next few posts I write about “Waking Up” we may be able to enlarge our capacity and expectation for the awesome awakening coming upon us and our nation.

Bringing Things to Light
Kathy—Almighty God’s Awakening is bringing things to light in the remainder of this year, both awesome and awful things, and it won’t leave any part of culture untouched! In every sphere of life, lust and pride and greed and evil have made monsters that distort and defy the will of God for mankind. But in this Awakening, we’ll see sons of God moving into every mountain of culture to confront and defeat those monsters. On the government mountain, people are already awaking to what political monsters have been trying to do for 100 years. There are those who have been pushing a global agenda to rule the world through lying, cheating, killing, stealing and destroying. We as the Ekklesia must take the keys to the Kingdom and see that they are exposed and deposed and dethroned.

Father Places the Members
As the people of God assemble today may they be and release what Father God put in each of them to be to the other members in the body of Christ. And may that be “just what the doctor ordered” for each person in the assembly so that they may be edified and impacted for the week ahead. 1Cor.12:18,Amp—“But now [as things really are], God has placed and arranged the parts in the body, each one of them, just as He willed and saw fit [with the best balance of function].”

Titles and T-Shirts
In Jn. 4:19 the woman said to Jesus, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.” He wasn’t wearing a T-shirt or handing out business cards or demanding that everyone use the title “prophet” in front of his name. What He was and what He was doing coincided without additional promotion. You don’t have to start a ministry if you are a ministry. If you “be” what you are in Christ, you will, of necessity, “do” what you are. Perhaps if there is no evidence in a person’s life-style, they will find it necessary to try and promote the idea, to the minds of others, of being a certain thing.

Because we Don’t Want to be Weird
Melissa–“The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made both of them.” (Prov.20:12) We are all capable of living a prophetic lifestyle without being a Prophet. Sometimes we train ourselves to ignore the Prophetic Lifestyle because we don’t want to be weird. This really is an epic life we are meant to live. Don’t ignore it. This life is meant to be epic!

They Have Been There for a Long Time
Kathy—If you are breathing and reading this right now, you are already written into history’s script of an Awakening that is prewritten and predestined by God. It is already happening and not just as a revival on the Church mountain of culture. This Awakening will go down in history as more than a flash flood of souls coming into the church. It carries an ever-increasing momentum that keeps leveling up in truth and revelation and clarity, and it will impact every mountain of culture. In this 2020’s decade of Awakening, our eyes will be open with 20/20 vision to clearly see new things as well as things that we haven’t realized before now. When God opened Elisha’s servant’s eyes, he suddenly saw the horses and chariots of fire, but they hadn’t just arrived. They had already been there outnumbering the opposition, but Gehazi didn’t know it until his awakening.

Declaring Harvest in Our Lives
I declare that it is time for harvest in our lives, our churches and in our nation. It is time for harvest of that which has been long awaited; the victories that our Lord has been cultivating in us during times of trial, pressing onward and it is time for endurance. We have not faced what we have faced and wrestled with what we have wrestled with and stood through testing for nothing. God has plowed and planted His Word into our lives. He has used people, circumstances and time to work His character into our lives. It will all yield its harvest in this age before the coming of our Lord. All the afore mentioned factors have been growing and maturing in us for a harvest that brings glory to Jehovah in this earth.

Aware of Doors of Opportunity
Melissa—If we don’t stay aware there is a possibility we may miss or won’t be able to get through the doors of opportunity and promotion ahead because we lost the keys at the end. What’s coming is something quite spectacular, but it requires resolve to embrace what Father is doing right now to acquire the fullness of what is just ahead of us. This does not require a formula, perfection or works. It simply requires walking in the grace that is completely surrounding us right now. Let’s finish out this next half of 2022 being present and aware of God’s grace that is the key to a dynamic ending and beginning. What a time to be alive.

Agreeing With God’s Stirrings
Kathy Gabler—Ekklesia (Church) missions are not always carried out in group settings. We are the Ekklesia corporate whether we are on location together or not. Last week, I looked out the front door at the early horizon. It was hazy and silvery gray. The only outstanding thing was a black silhouette of a utility trailer in a field. In that momentary scan across the horizon, my thought was that the silhouette looked like a canon in a civil war scene. It was a few minutes later when I remembered that glance and the unusual thought. Then I realized it was a visionary prompt to pray for our nation so that division and bloodshed could not divide and destroy it. That’s a big prayer mandate and I knew I was not praying alone. The Lord had surely stirred agreement and prompted others to pray also. Perhaps some glimpsed a canon or a flag or a soldier or heard a bugle call to arms, who knows, but the Lord musters His army as needed. So again, because we are His Ekklesia, may we not hesitate to pick up the keys for a Kingdom intersection or consider His prompts as optional!
