Kathy — Having dreams and visions does not make anyone more spiritual or more discerning or more valuable to the Kingdom of God. Neither are dreams and visions a license to contradict or disregard the Word of God or the character of God or the counsel of the godly. In fact, dreams and visions should be considered through just such godly filters as we search for their interpretation and purpose. Prov.11:14, NKJV — “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” (Kathy will be speaking on “Dreams and Visions” at DREAMS VISIONS AND PROPHECY Sept.11-13, 2020__No Fee. May the Lord stir you concerning His nearness and interest in you by touching your heart, by angels ministering around your bed and by speaking to you in dreams.
“The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart. Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go.” (Ps.16:8, Msg)

As the people of God assemble today may they take the counsel of the Word of God they hear today and may they apply it to every aspect of their life and family and keep it foremost throughout the week they as make decisions. “What delight comes to those who follow God’s ways! They won’t walk in step with the wicked, nor share the sinner’s way, nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat. 2 Their pleasure and passion is remaining true to the Word of “I Am,” meditating day and night in his true revelation of light. (Psalm 1:1-2, TPT)
There are people who stopped taking medicine or started taking a medicine because an individual, who had no medical training, said they should and the result was disastrous. There are people who have brought someone into their life or expulsed someone from their life because an individual said they should and the result was disastrous. There are people who have invested in something an individual told them to invest in and the result was disastrous. We should be very wise in deciding whether to live by something said by others and decide the correctness of it by the truths evident in the Bible. ”…the counsel of the wicked and ungodly is far from me.” (Job 22:18, Amp)
As the people of God assemble today, may they receive counsel from the Mighty Counselor as His Word is preached and as the people of God each release to the other, in their encouragement and conversation, that wisdom which is from the mind of God Almighty for the edification of His people.
”You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to honor and glory.” (Ps.73:24, Amp)
The month of May is for counsel – for giving counsel and receiving counsel. Expect the Lord to set up situations for you to (1) receive counsel for living – for knowing what to do when no one else does, (2) counsel for relationships, (3) counsel for finances, (4) counsel for walking out your Kingdom purpose, (5) counsel for working through seemingly impossible circumstances. Expect the Lord to set up situations where you will be able to pass on to others what you have freely been given. ”The wise will hear and increase their learning, And the person of understanding will acquire wise counsel and the skill [to steer his course wisely and lead others to the truth],” (Prov.1:5, Amp)
As the people of God assemble today, may they recall that they are “fellowcitizens” with the saints and enjoy one another’s presence and prayers and encouragements and counsel. And may they go into the coming week with the strength of knowing they are not alone but part of the household of God.
”Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;” (Eph.2:19, KJV)
Counsel for Living #2— May we each be attuned to hearing the voice of wisdom and counsel for our respective places of responsibility. May the Lord provide that we shall receive skillful instruction that will stand us good in days to come and may we be willing to receive correction in areas in which we are remiss. May the Lord’s purpose for you prevail above all opposition.
“Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come. Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand.” (Prov.19:20-21, Amp)
Your Home #14—May your home be filled with new language this year—filled with the language of finance and prosperity, filled with the language of health and filled with the language of wise counsel given and heeded.
“Without good direction, people lose their way; the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances.” (Prov.11:14, Msg)

May we receive the faithful words of true friends, counselors, fathers and mothers, and make the proper adjustments to become more effective in the purposes of our Lord and more valuable to others. May their words propel us forward. But may we treat unqualified opinions and criticisms as water off a duck’s back and refuse to let them anchor us to unwarranted sloth.
“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” (Prov.27:6 KJV)
“Friends mean well, even when they hurt you. But when an enemy puts his arm around your shoulder—watch out!” (Prov.27:6, GNB)
May the Lord help us get to the knowledge and correct information we need to walk in good health. May He bring to us knowledge of what is good for us and what is not. May He steer us away from fad methods and onto that lifestyle that is profitable to healthy living. May the Lord instill in us the good sense to heed wise counsel about our health and act accordingly.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3Jn. 1:2, NKJV)
We are all likely to be making plans and setting goals for 2014 and beyond. Our basic plan (that promises to be good throughout the whole year) might should be to take good counsel and accept correction— that’s the way to live wisely and well. We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails.
“Take good counsel and accept correction— that’s the way to live wisely and well. 21 We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails.” (Prov.19:20-21, Msg)
