As the people of God assemble today let us yield to the full counsel of our all-wise heavenly Father. Let us continually, throughout the year, draw on His Word and His Will as we walk paths of righteousness with sons and daughters of God for His name’s sake. There are people who stopped taking medicine or started taking a medicine because an individual, who had no medical training, said they should and the result was disastrous. There are people who 
have brought someone into their life or expulsed someone from their life because an individual said they should and the result was disastrous. There are people who have invested in something an individual told them to invest in and the result was disastrous. We should be very wise in deciding whether to live by something said by others and decide the correctness of it by the truths evident in the Bible. ”…the counsel of the wicked and ungodly is far from me.” (Job 22:18, Amp)

The month of May is for counsel – for giving counsel and receiving counsel. Expect the Lord to set up situations for you to (1) receive counsel for living – for knowing what to do when no one else does, (2) counsel for relationships, (3) counsel for finances, (4) counsel for walking out your Kingdom purpose, (5) counsel for working through seemingly impossible circumstances. Expect the Lord to set up situations where you will be able to pass on to others what you have freely been given. ”The wise will hear and increase their learning, And the person of understanding will acquire wise counsel and the skill [to steer his course wisely and lead others to the truth],” (Prov.1:5, Amp)

Counsel for Living #2— May we each be attuned to hearing the voice of wisdom and counsel for our respective places of responsibility. May we receive the faithful words of true friends, counselors, fathers and mothers, and make the proper adjustments to become more effective in the purposes of our Lord and more valuable to others. We are all likely to be making plans and setting goals for 2014 and beyond. Our basic plan (that promises to be good throughout the whole year) might should be to take good counsel and accept correction— that’s the way to live wisely and well. We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails.

As the people of God assemble today may they take the counsel of the Word of God they hear today and may they apply it to every aspect of their life and family and keep it foremost throughout the week they as make decisions. “What delight comes to those who follow God’s ways! They won’t walk in step with the wicked, nor share the sinner’s way, nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat. 2 Their pleasure and passion is remaining true to the Word of “I Am,” meditating day and night in his true revelation of light. (Psalm 1:1-2, TPT)
have brought someone into their life or expulsed someone from their life because an individual said they should and the result was disastrous. There are people who have invested in something an individual told them to invest in and the result was disastrous. We should be very wise in deciding whether to live by something said by others and decide the correctness of it by the truths evident in the Bible. ”…the counsel of the wicked and ungodly is far from me.” (Job 22:18, Amp)
As the people of God assemble today, may they receive counsel from the Mighty Counselor as His Word is preached and as the people of God each release to the other, in their encouragement and conversation, that wisdom which is from the mind of God Almighty for the edification of His people.
The month of May is for counsel – for giving counsel and receiving counsel. Expect the Lord to set up situations for you to (1) receive counsel for living – for knowing what to do when no one else does, (2) counsel for relationships, (3) counsel for finances, (4) counsel for walking out your Kingdom purpose, (5) counsel for working through seemingly impossible circumstances. Expect the Lord to set up situations where you will be able to pass on to others what you have freely been given. ”The wise will hear and increase their learning, And the person of understanding will acquire wise counsel and the skill [to steer his course wisely and lead others to the truth],” (Prov.1:5, Amp)
