Embracing God’s Instructions With Character
Kathy — In the remainder of 2021, may we embrace God’s intent and instructions as our catalyst. At the same time, may we realize that the kryptonite to success is lack of cooperation in His sons/daughters; and the most common reason we are not ready to participate with God is because of the condition of our character. Is it
lack of training that leaves gaps in our character? Is it lack of healthy examples that weakens our character? Or does character corrupt in the breach between knowing the truth and living according to the truth we know? I think the latter is the heart of the matter. It moves the emphasis from lack and circumstance to diligence. We do not have to be perfect, but diligence is a requirement. “The hand of the diligent will rule”, Prov. 12:24. (NKJ) In business or ministry or government or family or the local garden club, we do not suffer a downfall because of other people. Neither do circumstances cause us to fall. Opposition does not cause us to fall. We build our own path to downfall. Bad choices, emotional decisions, wrong priorities and self-focused agendas can cause us to fail, but a downfall comes from a breach of character.

Encouraged in the Resurrected Christ
As the people of God assemble today may they encourage in each other the hope of the risen Christ whom the grave could not hold and death could not conquer. May they worship Him as the one Who is risen
forevermore. May they assure each other that the power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in them and is assuring them that they will overcome, in this life, many things that threaten their lives and their seeing the fulfillment of the promises of Almighty God. Phil.3;10,TPT—“And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and become like him in his death.”

The Lord is Still Working
The Lord is still working in people’s lives in spite of the enemy trying to get everyone’s focus on the negative.
A couple of weeks ago Kathy, Melissa and I were ministering in the central part of Texas. After the meeting, a young man walked up and said that several years ago I walked up to him and put a $20 bill in his shirt pocket and said you will have income when others do not. He said that has been so for all those years. Even during the pandemic their business has picked up continually and he and his wife have doubled their savings during the pandemic.

Game Changer: Miracles, Signs, Wonders
Melissa — A definite “game-changer” in the coming days and challenges of 2021 is Miracles, Signs and Wonders. Just get ready for these to become the norm. And get ready to be the gate through which they come. What you have been in training to release will become obvious this year.

Don’t Reject the Catalysts
Kathy — In Acts 6, Stephen was openly demonstrating the Kingdom with signs, wonders and miracles among the people. Rather than realizing that God was using this young man as a catalyst to continue the powerful changes that Jesus had begun, they were angered by this catalyst and decided to remove it. May God help us not to reject the catalysts for change He is raising up in 2021.

Hidden, Misused and Fringe Exposed
We are declaring that hidden and misused facts will be exposed for what they are in near days. We declare that entities attempting to distract from “matters that matter”, by amplifying fringe voices and emphasizing
non-essentials, will lose their steam. We declare that the economics of our nation and the mounting waves of hunger for truth and awakening in our nation will not be thwarted by the machinations of darkness. Job 5:12,Amp—“He frustrates the devices and schemes of the crafty, So that their hands cannot attain success or achieve anything of [lasting] worth.” Isa.29:15,Amp—“Woe (judgment is coming) to those who [try to] deeply hide their plans from the Lord, Whose deeds are done in a dark place, And who say, “Who sees us?” or “Who knows us?”

Game-Changer: Realization
Melissa — There are things that can be “game-changers” in the remaining days of this year. One “game-changer” can be our letting this be the year of realization. Yes, you are healed… there it is. Yes, you are delivered from chronic issues and habits… there it is. Yes, God’s promise is still intact… there it is. Yes, you have a role in 2021… there it is. No, you are not out of His reach… there He is.

Affirmation Through Healthy Fathering
Kathy — Being born again offers us a new beginning. Our salvation brings opportunity to be equipped for life as we gain identity and affirmation thru healthy fathering. What was not experienced in our natural sonship
can be established in our spiritual sonship. These essentials get established as we think differently and become mature sons, overcoming everything that opposes God’s good plans for our lives. Jn.1:12,Amp—“But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—”

In the Household of God
As the people of God assemble today may they rise up in the encouragement of the Lord and the saints. May
they receive the inspiration of Holy Spirit to move forward and may they receive inspiration from one another that they are in the household of God and are being renewed and refreshed in His love and provision for His household. James 1:17,Amp—“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].”

Pick up Where we Left Off
May is the month where we may pick up from where we left off on attempting goals and achieving new levels of function and effectiveness for the Kingdom of God. Where we laid vision down, where we laid hope down,
where we laid dreams down, we may now go back and pick them up, take a deep breath and move on toward their fulfillment. We will pray and have faith and apply what we have toward their fulfillment just as the farmer and the gardener work the ground and watch with expectancy for their plants to grow and bear fruit. Phil.3:13-14, Amp—“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Prophetic Awareness
For a final note on the prophetic lifestyle: I will boil it down to this. The key is awareness. We must remember, at all times that the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that
penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not pretty right now, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue that the Prophetic Lifestyle needs a re-boot. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this. We are all capable of living a prophetic lifestyle without being a Prophet.

Security of Being Affirmed
Kathy — Identity is knowing who you are and being confident you have purpose for being here. The first shot
the devil took at Jesus in the wilderness was at His identity: “If You are God’s Son, then command these stones.” However, Jesus was so confident of His identity that Satan couldn’t tempt Him to even have to prove it. (Matt.4:3-4) Affirmation establishes our self-worth. Satan said, “Since you are God’s Son, jump.” Matt.4:6 Let’s just see how far your Father will go to prove His regard for you. Many people grow up never being affirmed. This is My beloved Son in whom I’m well pleased,” affirmed Jesus personally and publicly. Satan couldn’t make Him test His own worth because he couldn’t make Him doubt His Father’s affirmation.

What do I do With Those Prophetic Things?
Melissa — What do I do when prophetic lifestyle things occur? Here’s where I start: TAKE THE TIME TO PAY ATTENTION. Remember, this life is meant to be EPIC. Take time to act, pray, speak it/declare it, write it down or simply agree in that moment. If it’s not obvious what to do, ask God for instruction. You may need to hold on to it for future reference. Don’t get impatient and jump into action if the action is not clear. That could lead to an unpleasant outcome. He could be training you in that moment, getting you ready. Personal
Responsibility for the Prophetic Lifestyle: 1.) Read the Bible. Remember, the Bible is written FOR us, not TO us. The Word specifies who it is written TO. Reading the Bible keeps you familiar with God’s ways. God highlights and pinpoints scriptures for wisdom, action, prayer, declaration, etc. 2.) Pray… specifically in tongues. It keeps your eyes and ears open. Ephesians 3:16, 20-21- “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Praying in tongues charges our spirit man. The spirit (inner man) needs to be charged way more than the soul does. Praying in tongues brings that charge which in turn brings clarity. “Your soul drinks in what your ears and eyes and emotions are exposed to all day. The only way you can renew your mind and take dominion over the demonic assault on your feelings and thoughts is to be filled with the Spirit!” (L. Wallnau).

Kathy — Healthy parenting establishes three essentials in each child: 1.Identity which produces self-image; 2.Affirmation which produces self-worth; 3.Obedience which produces self-discipline–three essentials for healthy character. Mature character is essential to experience our full destiny that glorifies God. A frail self-image, lack of self-worth and lack of self-discipline can damage or destroy anyone’s future! Rom.8:14, Amp—“For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

There are Still Possibilities in God
As the people of God assemble today may they be refreshed in the corporate presence of the Lord and may they fearlessly face the unknown factors of the challenges ahead of them. May the Word and encouragement
cause their ears and eyes to be opened to discover that there are still possibilities in God for solutions that no one has ever considered. May they go out of the edifying corporate assembly toward those challenges speaking in agreement with the creative acts of God in the Bible and in the earth, imitating Abraham: (Rom.4:17, Msg) “…[Abraham] dared to trust God to do what only God could do: … with a word make something out of nothing.”

Ways to Hear From God
Melissa — The following list is not only how the prophetic lifestyle is lived out, it is also ways in which He trains us for a prophetic lifestyle. This is not a comprehensive list. There are so many ways to hear from the Alpha and Omega. We don’t all have the same exact experiences because we each have a personal relationship with God. The way you hear has to do with this most important relationship of your life! But, as you’ll see, there are similarities in ways we all hear. 1.) Coincidences: the occurrence of events that happen at
the same time by accident but seem to have some connection. (Webster’s Dictionary) Coincidences can easily be put in the I don’t want to be weird category, so they can easily be ignored. Pay attention! Remember, God is working on many levels, so why would we not experience coincidences? 2.) DeJa-Vu: a feeling that one has seen or heard something before. (Webster’s Dictionary) Nope, not spooky at all, rather a fantastic training experience! If you have one simply ask what you need to see. If you don’t get an answer, perhaps you were being trained to pay attention. 3.) Dreams: of course God speaks to us in dreams. Our conscious mind is out of the way. 4.) Visions: are like a movie in your head or right before your eyes. 5.) Double-take: is that thing which makes you look again because you thought you saw something and it ends up not being there. 6.) Feelings: are about a knowing in your gut, excitement out of nowhere, uneasiness out of nowhere. 7.) Urges: to pray, do something, call someone, go somewhere. 8.) Hearing: still small voice or loud and clear. 9.) Thoughts: came out of nowhere. You weren’t even thinking about that subject and the thought won’t go away. It just sits in your mind. 10.) The place between awake and asleep: the mind is not in the way here. From my experience these moments have been very clear. 11.) In conversation: something strikes a chord, confirms something you heard, or an idea comes “out of nowhere”. An inspirational conversation, if you will.

The Unconventional and the Whirlwind
Before Moses was born Israel began to cry out, “Save us from Pharaoh!” Then 80 years later there was a suddenly: “Bam!” Snakes, staffs and bull frogs are flying in every direction. Before Jesus was born Israel cries, “Save us from Rome!” Then after 60 yrs. of Roman domination: suddenly, “Boom! Bam!” Wind, fire, speaking in tongues and spiritual drunkenness hit them. Then, following that, all manner of mind-blowing
miracles, signs and wonders began to take place wherever the followers of Christ showed up. God’s people are once again crying, “Save us, O mighty God!” So… Get ready for something unusual, something that is unconventional! Are you ready for the unconventional? (Isa.55:8-9) We must have Something which is totally unconventional in comparison to what is already not working here. It will require to be absolutely radical in its makeup and its effect. But it is not being handed to us on a platter labeled “As Usual”, “The Good Ol’ Days”, “Return to 1950’s Revival” It is headed our way in a series of Whirlwinds called “Unconventional”! The items and agendas which make up “conventional” and “typical” are going to be flying in every direction just like Aaron’s staff and Egypt’s snakes and bull frogs. Nahum 1:3— “…the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind”

Name in The Book of Life
Kathy — Our names are written in the Book of Life. It’s not just a list of names. Our names are written in several chapters of God’s plans. Maybe your part is to raise a daughter who will be a godly influence in a school system or to build a moral stronghold in the business community or to encourage righteous politics in ten families by 2024. You might be an encourager that God will use in a 1000 different settings. Rev.3:5,TPT — “And the one who experiences victory will be dressed in white robes and I will never, no never erase your name from the Book of Life. I will acknowledge your name before my Father and his angels.”

God of an Ever-Expanding Glory
“Sanctify” means “separate yourself.” Get rid of the things that are extra, added weight. Get rid of the things that are not the image of Christ. Let go of attitudes that don’t fit Kingdom thinking. Elders, deacons, bishops
and presbyters won’t be able to help you on this one because none of us have been this way before. (Cf. Josh 10:14 and there was no day like that before it or after it.) I heard a conference speaker say, “The Lord of life leaves enough mystery to be intrusive, disruptive and surprising in order that He might shatter our tendencies to predictability; and yes even boredom. Saints die of many things but to die of boredom is an insult to the God of an ever-expanding glory.” Though some of us desperately long for the routine of our lives to be radically changed we are disturbed and consequently resistant when confronted with the acts of God’s power which are required to change them. In order for God Almighty to radically change the present state of our lives, for Him to bring reformation to our nation we must allow Him to forcefully break in upon us. Nahum 1:3— “…the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind” (Nahum 1:3). That means that we will not escape the Whirlwind.

Healthy Legacy
Kathy — The best way to teach our children is by example. As we daily learn to think like God thinks, that becomes our legacy and influence. A healthy legacy makes it essential to get the basics right. The starting
place is how we think about our salvation. Many generations have been taught that salvation is just an escape from hell, but they need to think differently. Salvation is empowerment for life! Rom.1:16-17,TPT— “I refuse to be ashamed of the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere! 17 This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”

Prophetic Lifestyle Opens Opportunities
Melissa — You are a representative of heaven during your lifetime. “But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A CONSECRATED NATION, A [special] PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of
darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9, Amplified) The prophetic lifestyle opens opportunities, timing, and connections. Opportunities: having the ears to hear to be at the right place at the right time for yourself and others. Timing: none of us understand the timing of God because He is working on so many levels. It takes a prophetic lifestyle to see beyond the limited vision of our normal dimensions. It can keep you sane where timing is concerned. Connection: Brings lives together for God team-ups, projects, events, etc. We were never meant to do life alone (1 Corinthians 12:20-21). In this day and age, this way of life is a total necessity for the body of Christ.
