Melissa — There are things that can be “game-changers” in the remaining days of this year. One “game-changer” can be our letting this be the year of realization. Yes, you are healed… there it is. Yes, you are delivered from chronic issues and habits… there it is. Yes, God’s promise is still intact… there it is. Yes, you have a role in 2021… there it is. No, you are not out of His reach… there He is.
As the people of God assemble today may they worship Yahweh in the liberty of the Spirit and may He inhabit their praises and may His powerful Presence fill each of them making them every whit [all; whole; complete] whole in spirit, soul and body. Jn.7:23b, KJV – “…I have made a man every whit whole…”
More and more often these days we are seeing or hearing about the Lord God doing awesome things in a moment of time that we have desired and prayed to see for decades. A scientist who had suffered from a disease for 34 years was healed in a moment. I had a word of knowledge that described what he had been dealing with. He told me that while he was very thankful for the sudden healing, he was just a bit disappointed. He had heard people give testimonies about miracles and the awesome things that they felt or heard or saw in the event, but he told me he was disappointed that he didn’t feel or see anything. He said that, without anything unusual taking place, he was suddenly, completely healed while standing with his hands lifted. (2nd excerpt from Marty’s article “God of the Moment”)
David prayed in Psalm 41:4, “Heal my inner self.” (AMP) We all have wounds in our lives that we cannot fit into a pretty picture: experiences that seem to deny God’s goodness, injustices that oppose His plans, conditions that contradict faith, circumstances that seem to defy God’s presence and relationships that resist His love. Jesus told us offenses would come, Matthew 18:7; and the truth is that we have all suffered the wounds of offense, injustice and loss. But the greater issue is that our experiences can either Equip us or Cripple us. It is the will of our Father that we be healed and equipped.
