Creation is Groaning

KATHY — In our natural thinking, we might see creepy minions of darkness creating havoc and standing on the verge of overtaking our doomed world but, if we think like God thinks, these are all signs of creation groaning for the manifest sons of God, Rom 8:19,22.  Creation is groaning for powerful men and women of God to do supernatural things and bring God’s will and order to this life.

Following Signs or Signs Following

News services are using their valuable air time and print space reporting on Christians declaring the end of the world. Christians have said time and time again throughout my lifetime that no generation has seen things worse than they are now, and it is now the end of the world and the coming of the Lord. They have looked up into the sky and sought all manner of natural signs to confirm their suspicions (Gal.4:10). Yet, I find it interesting that not one time have I heard anyone say that no generation of Christians has ever been more like Jesus than this generation (even after all these years and all these centuries of church attendance and observing the stars and dispensational charts). Amos has a great suggestion: “SEEK HIM that maketh the seven stars and Orion… THE LORD IS HIS NAME:” (Amos 5:8) Could it be that Amos would rather have us take valuable time and effort we are using to seek signs and actually use it to SEEK The LORD?

Apostle Paul’s great concern was not to get Christians off the planet but to, somehow, labor and strive until they were conformed to the image of Christ (Gal.4:19).  Hopefully there will come a time when we become weary with following signs and we turn around and look behind us to see if there are any signs following us. (Mark 16:17) “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;”  It’s not time for the end. It’s time for the sons of God to be manifest (have signs follow them) as the answer to the groaning of creation (Rom.8:19,22). Then maybe news services will have something really worthwhile to report about what Christians are saying AND doing.

God’s Original Intent

(Kathy G.) Rom 8:23, but we ourselves groan inwardly as we wait for redemption which will reveal our adoption, our manifestation as God’s sons.  Some SunReflectWaterpeople misunderstand that “groan” for redemption as a groan to escape somewhere over the rainbow someday, but we weren’t born here to live our years yearning to get out of here. We were born to display Father’s glory.  According to Romans 5:2, “bringing sons to glory” is a matter of Father leading, influencing, carrying and persuading mature sons, who bear the likeness of Christ, to do what they were born to do according to Father’s design and intent.  Relationship and having sons is God’s Original Intent, and bringing sons to glory is priority with our Father. The process to that priority is in 2 Cor 3:18, as we consider who He is and reflect and pattern after Him as we are changed into the same image from glory to glory.  It is by His Spirit that we are enabled to change and be and do what we were born to in our lifetime.

Answering the Groaning

PeopleLookBinocularsSons of the Kingdom become the answer to the groaning of creation which we read about in the book of Romans (8:19,22). In the original language, groaning creation is pictured in such a way that it is expectantly stretching the neck to glimpse that which is beyond itself and beyond its present plight. That which creation is stretching its neck to see, or those who it is stretching its neck to see, are their hope of lifting them out of their plight.
