Holy Spirit is in the Fight
Our Nation—The Holy Spirit Is In The Fight
A while back I was praying about our nation. I was listing the issues and the chaos and the unrighteous rulers before God. It was then that I saw a vision of a boxing ring. A man in a tux walked out into the center of the ring, took the microphone and announced the fight. He pointed to his left and said, “In this corner is anarchy, liberalism, atheism, existentialism, failing morals and failing values.” The crowd would gasp in horror each time the announcer would list another of the creature’s attributes. Each time he listed another name or description, the dark creature in that corner grew another inch and gained another 20 pounds until he menacingly filled that corner of the ring. Then I heard a voice cry out and ask, “But who will figure the Holy Spirit into the equation? Who will announce Him?” In the vision I jumped to my feet and cried aloud, “I will!” I climbed into the ring, took the microphone and said, “BUT in THIS corner is the One who, in the beginning when the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep, this One, the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and chaos was changed into order!” The crowd jumped to their feet and began to shout until the roar was deafening. The whole atmosphere changed.
Don’t count out Holy Spirit — Holy Spirit is in the fight. Too many people are climbing into the ring of discussion and opinion, taking the mic and announcing the negative. Every time we announce the negative, we give it more size and weight in our thinking and the thinking of others. David overcame his enemies but reported this pattern while he was doing it: “From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of the Lord is to be praised.” (Ps113:3)

Giants and Causes
Those were dark, oppressive days. The raging giant held the entire Israelite army in tense, intimidating suspension. David searched the faces of the older generation attempting to determine why the offensive oaf was going unchallenged. Could it be that a nation would just sit by while an uncircumcised leader and contingent openly expressed their intentions to subdue and rule them? When David inquired as to why the armored titan was only passively being confronted and not at all contradicted, he was sharply rebuked and told to go back home. Problem: the giant didn’t intend to stay in the valley. Giants always want more. Question: Is there a cause? 1Sam.17:29, KJV — “And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?”

God Reverses the Disastrous Effect
Even as God promised Jeremiah that He would reverse the disastrous effect upon Jerusalem, He will reverse the disastrous events befalling our nation and our families. “Call upon Me and I will” (Jer.33:3) is proof positive that our prayers can affect and turn around a city, a nation, a church and a family and descendants. We must move away from other influences in order to call upon God in heaven for His Kingdom to come into earth (Matt.6:10).

The Intensity
(Melissa Gabler) — It’s happening folks! The intensity you feel right now is an evil agenda being de-throned. God has not, and will not take His hand off of this nation! We are a blessed people, and we GET to be a part of His Kingdom invasion. Come. On. Now. “The zeal of the Lord of hosts“ is accomplishing a miraculous transformation in the United States of America. Does it look like what most of us thought a miraculous transformation would? Probably not. Does it matter what we thought it should look like? Absolutely not.

You Are A Carrier
We carry what our nation and the world needs, and you can change things from where you are at this moment. God used a remnant of people time and time again to make big changes. He’s God, a tiny dose of His power can turn this thing upside-down! Our new motto for this year and beyond can be: As goes the remnant, so goes the nation. — Melissa Gabler. Rejoicing for the Nation
“This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Ps.118:24) On this passage Clarke basically says that since the Lord has called us to triumph, this is the day He has appointed for that purpose. He seems to be claiming it for himself, as should we—this time period, this season, even this very day is the day of our triumphing in Christ. This is rejoicing for what the Lord had done for the nation. V.23 “This is the Lord’s doing.” Now, as then, mere man does not have the answers for our nation. Let us lift our voices to the throne of God that we may rejoice in what Jehovah has done in our nation. Rejoice and be glad!

Prayers and Partnership for the Nation
As you consider your musings throughout the day, as you hear news broadcasts and partake in discussions about current events, may the Lord encourage you for the future of our nation and your vital part in assuring that future. May you be encouraged that your prayers and partnership are significant in His workings in America. May you receive His assurance that you shall not be moved out of purpose nor off the foundation of God Almighty. Let’s claim (Ps.46:5) “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.” Also (Ps.62:6) “He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved.” We are praying you discover daily that God is your defense. Awakening to True Concerns
May the Lord awaken people to true concerns about life and our nation. May people awaken and embrace biblical values, and think and act righteously so that our families and our nation not go to ruin.
“Woe to you who are rushing headlong to disaster! Catastrophe is just around the corner! Woe to those who live in luxury and expect everyone else to serve them! Woe to those who live only for today, indifferent to the fate of others! Woe to the playboys, the playgirls, who think life is a party held just for them! Woe to those addicted to feeling good—life without pain! those obsessed with looking good—life without wrinkles! They could not care less about their country going to ruin.” (Amos 6:3-6, Msg)

Weapons of War
Dear America,
“They may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from Me. Whoever stirs up strife against you shall fall and surrender to you. But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me says the Lord”. (Isa 54:15, 17 Amp)
How do I dare address this to America? I dare because the gift of righteousness is deposited in those who believe in Christ, a remnant living in this country to give witness that this is a Christian nation that belongs to the Lord and His original purpose for it. Rather than passively assuming America cannot receive and agree with this promise in Isaiah, I can aggressively declare we do receive and agree with it. I not only can, I just did.

Liberty, Adversaries and Cost
Liberty, Adversaries and Cost
In 1776 the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. There was much sacrifice in reaching that momentous date forever etched in history. The colonists came dangerously close to losing on more than one occasion. There was a lack of weapons, training and basic supplies. The soldiers were up against disease as well as the well-trained British army and their desperate generals. George Washington not only had to be on alert against British tactics but also on alert for self-seeking traitors in his own army.
In spite of the seeming unbalance in the two opposing forces, what could only be called “the hand of God,” not only brought the scales back into balance but took them over in favor of the colonials. Just one example among others is that when Washington marched against Boston, the soldiers dug trenches with the help of a clear night. The next morning a British engineering officer reported that the progress of the colonials must have required 15,000 to 20,000 men, more than double the size of the present colonial army. Just as the battle was beginning the weather suddenly changed and a storm set in by noon with hail, sleet and a wind that “blew almost a hurricane.” General Howe decided not to attack and retreated from Boston. Washington and others gave the glory to God’s hand at work.
Although it has been noted that Washington was not a brilliant strategist and had shown indecisiveness at crucial moments, one writer said, “Washington never forgot what was at stake and never gave up.” George Washington credited the blessing of God as the reason he was able to endure. “He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved” (Ps 62:6)
Many Americans sense the threat against the liberties those Founding Fathers faithfully fought for. But we will not continue to realize them simply through political efforts. Without the intervening Hand of Almighty God and our desperate seeking of His precepts, those liberties remain eminently threatened. “I will walk at liberty and at ease, for I have sought and inquired for and desperately required Your precepts.” (Ps 119:45) I pray the Lord God will give us determination, not only to guard our civil liberties, but to seek His precepts so that we have a value system that will prompt us to, at least, basic stewardship (such as voting) in the preserving of what He gave us in this great nation. Profitable To Family, Tribe And Nation
Profitable To Family, Tribe And Nation
The sons of Issachar understood the times in which they lived, understood what was being said by the rulers and cultures of the times. Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do… (1Ch 12:32). They were able to speak more than just their tribal, colloquial tongue. They both understood and spoke the understandings of culture, politics and science. They were then able to articulate those matters to their tribe (v.32) so that action could be taken upon their wisdom. Their knowledge made them profitable to their families, their tribe and their nation.
