Consider the nation of Israel when they were murmuring about the food situation in the wilderness in Exodus Chapter 16. That whole scenario was an opportunity for every person involved to stop, look and listen to what was transpiring and conclude that these were not just a series of events that were 
simply to be written down in a history book somewhere. When they woke up that first morning of the manna event they discovered something so extraordinary that they didn’t know what to call it. So, they ended up calling it “what is it?” (v.15). They, however, did not adjust to the new era and did not change their thinking and old habits. They continued trying to operate by old mindsets, did not heed the instructions of Moses and ended up with a smelly, undesirable mess (v.20). A new era cannot be new and cannot be the vehicle carrying us to new results if we intend operating in the mindsets of the old era. The never-before-experienced extraordinary of the new season turned to waste and to something that was untenable because the Israelites refused to operate by the tenets of the new (v.19). A new threshold serves little or no purpose if we have no intention of operating in the new with the respective new mindset. New eras are themselves announcements of new norms.

(Melissa Gabler) — Even though the sky is clearing there may be a storm or two that pops up as we head into the God ordained days ahead. No worries 
though, the storms have to “be still” and bow to the intention of God. In prayer the other night I heard this after it came out of my mouth, “Your Kingdom is over this nation and you are releasing another increment upon us.” What if we are that increment?! What if we are the stealth measures He is putting in place to release a deeper increment of His Kingdom on this earth? Me thinks we are! When a person or a nation received a breakthrough, when they began a new era, God was trying to tell them that they did not have to operate at the 
previous level. He was, through His Word and through their experiences, attempting to get across to them that they had come to a new norm. When we come to a new norm (or simply desire to) we would do well to realize that we must think differently and put effort into functioning differently. Even while in the middle of the wilderness, Israel was on the verge of a new era. Yet, there weren’t any people walking around or gathering groups under a tree to listen to them preach about the new era that was being ushered in and that they should have hope and that they should give themselves 
wholeheartedly to it and, most certainly, no one had even announced a Countdown to Canaan Conference. Even without the thing being announced in bright lights, the new season was moving in upon them just the same. One factor we must always be aware of that can spawn disillusionment is when the proclaimers of new eras leave us with the assumption that it is going to be a “magic carpet ride”. We will not be able to simply go on about “business as usual” but must look for ways to adjust to what is coming and adjust and make preparations for what we are hoping will be. As the people of God assemble today, may they settle for nothing less than the extraordinary of Heaven in their midst. May they not look to those 
things known only by religious sentiment. The coming of a new year finds many people hoping for a new era, a new season. Many have hopes and dreams that a new season will hold something 
fresh and fulfilling. There is a God-something in us that urges us to reach beyond what we have experienced and strive for more than we have known. We so desire to eagerly respond to the “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” invitation of Jer.33:3. We want to see and experience the “never seen” and “never known” which is beyond our own capacity so that we may know resolve and victories and fulfillment that have, heretofore, been beyond our reach. (Sam Brassfield) — David was under authority; therefore, he had authority. If we are not under authority, we have no authority. All authority outside 
of the Triune Godhead is delegated authority. David had been given authority by his earthly father Jesse to tend his father’s sheep. David used that authority to slay the enemies that came to devour his father’s flocks. He just used this same premise of authority in regards to his heavenly Father. David knew that when he faced the giant who was in defiance of his heavenly father, that he would be given the power of God to back up the authority he had been given to protect God’s flock called Israel. It’s going to take loving the Truth (which is a Person—THE Person) to see great and mighty things for which an earth is groaning (Romans 8:17-19). It’s 
going to take some calling on that Person which requires relationship, not curbside pickup. And relationship takes time, time out of your day. This does not mean you have to set aside hours and hours every day. That is not a bad thing if that’s where you are currently, or a season you are headed into. As the Word of God says, “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken”. For 2,000 years the prayers of the saints have been going up to the throne of God in obedience to the instruction of our Lord when He required His disciples to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” God Almighty has not been deaf upon 
His throne. Just like rats scurrying to get out of a collapsing building, the powers and principalities in second heaven are feeling the pressure of Third Heaven coming into the earth (Mt.6:10). They are scurrying about the earth and our nation affecting everything and everyone that will allow it and they are attempting, through willing dupes, to dismantle everything they can. Throughout history, when a retreating army leaves an area, they burn and dismantle everything they can so that their enemy cannot use it to their advantage. We should not, at all, be surprised at the attempts to dismantle the Word of God and the institutions that uphold it and our constitution. Now, what is our part in this next season? Awareness. We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the 
months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this. –Melissa

I have been amazed lately at the strategic dreams God has given. I have sensed for several months that the Body of Christ is in an important time of 
transition. These dreams have been confirmation of coming changes and new positioning of our lives for the purposes of God. News services are using their valuable air time and print space reporting on Christians declaring the end of the world. Christians have said time and time again throughout my lifetime that no generation has seen things worse than they are now, and it is now the end of the world and the coming of the Lord. They have looked up into the sky and sought all manner of natural signs to confirm their suspicions (Gal.4:10). Yet, I find it interesting that not 
one time have I heard anyone say that no generation of Christians has ever been more like Jesus than this generation (even after all these years and all these centuries of church attendance and observing the stars and dispensational charts). Amos has a great suggestion: “SEEK HIM that maketh the seven stars and Orion… THE LORD IS HIS NAME:” (Amos 5:8) Could it be that Amos would rather have us take valuable time and effort we are using to seek signs and actually use it to SEEK The LORD?
Apostle Paul’s great concern was not to get Christians off the planet but to, somehow, labor and strive until they were conformed to the image of Christ (Gal.4:19). Hopefully there will come a time when we become weary with following signs and we turn around and look behind us to see if there are any signs following us. (Mark 16:17) “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” It’s not time for the end. It’s time for the sons of God to be manifest (have signs follow them) as the answer to the groaning of creation (Rom.8:19,22). Then maybe news services will have something really worthwhile to report about what Christians are saying AND doing.

As the people of God assemble today, may they hear what they need to hear from their Lord and Savior for victory in all aspects of their life in the coming week. A friend called with a strategic dream that was an answer to her prayer. She has been in a on-going trial at work and is weary of the situation. She asked God if she could leave the situation. In her dream she was a nurse in an emergency room and she was tending to three patients. A doctor walked 
in and she was relieved to see him because she knew he was a trustworthy doctor. He told her to go get something and she was walking quickly down a long hall. A door opened in the hall and a lady walked out. In the dream she realized it was angel. The angel beckoned her to come with her. But she knew the care for the three patients must be finished first, so she asked the angel if she could check with her tomorrow. The angel answered yes and walked back through a door which disappeared as it closed.
The trustworthy doctor was the Great Physician coming on the scene to intervene. That is why she knew Him and was so glad to see Him. Often, as in this case, a hall represents transition or moving from one place to another, one opportunity to another. She was encouraged to realize that He had given her instructions to enter a transition time, and allowed her to glimpse a new door, an opportunity divinely provided. Her sense of integrity kept her there to finish with the three patients. The three patients symbolized the three years of trial of her “patience” with her co-worker. She actually passed a test of character when she chose not to go through the door and to stay until finished because “three” also is significant of completing a divine process and purpose. While interviewing the great frontiersman, Daniel Boone, a reporter asked him, “Mr. Boone, have you ever been lost?” To which he replied, “Well, I was once bewildered for four days but I’ve never been lost.” At first, that sounds quite humorous but, in fact, it is a statement of some certainty. For an 
experienced explorer like Boone, it would be next to impossible for him to actually be lost in the truest since because he was a man of resource, initiative and skill. It didn’t matter in what area of wilderness or frontier he found himself, he still had the confidence of his skills and wilderness survival knowledge. It didn’t matter if it was winter, summer, spring or fall. It made no difference if he was in mountains, prairies or swamps, his knowledge, experience and skills served to keep him alive and on a correct heading. North was always constant and south was still south and that will never change. He could, therefore, always find direction in any season or location and, in spite of bears and weather hazards he had to deal with on numerous occasions, he lived to tell the story time and again. Our God is the immovable Rock Who is always constant. simply to be written down in a history book somewhere. When they woke up that first morning of the manna event they discovered something so extraordinary that they didn’t know what to call it. So, they ended up calling it “what is it?” (v.15). They, however, did not adjust to the new era and did not change their thinking and old habits. They continued trying to operate by old mindsets, did not heed the instructions of Moses and ended up with a smelly, undesirable mess (v.20). A new era cannot be new and cannot be the vehicle carrying us to new results if we intend operating in the mindsets of the old era. The never-before-experienced extraordinary of the new season turned to waste and to something that was untenable because the Israelites refused to operate by the tenets of the new (v.19). A new threshold serves little or no purpose if we have no intention of operating in the new with the respective new mindset. New eras are themselves announcements of new norms.

In prayer the other night I heard this after it came out of my mouth, “Your Kingdom is over this nation and you are releasing another increment upon us.” What if we are that increment?! What if we are the stealth measures He is putting in place to release a deeper increment of His Kingdom on this earth? Me thinks we are! of the Triune Godhead is delegated authority. David had been given authority by his earthly father Jesse to tend his father’s sheep. David used that authority to slay the enemies that came to devour his father’s flocks. He just used this same premise of authority in regards to his heavenly Father. David knew that when he faced the giant who was in defiance of his heavenly father, that he would be given the power of God to back up the authority he had been given to protect God’s flock called Israel. His throne. Just like rats scurrying to get out of a collapsing building, the powers and principalities in second heaven are feeling the pressure of Third Heaven coming into the earth (Mt.6:10). They are scurrying about the earth and our nation affecting everything and everyone that will allow it and they are attempting, through willing dupes, to dismantle everything they can. Throughout history, when a retreating army leaves an area, they burn and dismantle everything they can so that their enemy cannot use it to their advantage. We should not, at all, be surprised at the attempts to dismantle the Word of God and the institutions that uphold it and our constitution. months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! one time have I heard anyone say that no generation of Christians has ever been more like Jesus than this generation (even after all these years and all these centuries of church attendance and observing the stars and dispensational charts). Amos has a great suggestion: “SEEK HIM that maketh the seven stars and Orion… THE LORD IS HIS NAME:” (Amos 5:8) Could it be that Amos would rather have us take valuable time and effort we are using to seek signs and actually use it to SEEK The LORD?
As the people of God assemble today, may they hear what they need to hear from their Lord and Savior for victory in all aspects of their life in the coming week. May they, throughout the week, know that they are under the eye and care of God Almighty so that they dream the dreams that are instruction from the Lord.
