New Level = New Effectiveness
God takes us to a NEW LEVEL so we can be more aware, more sensitive, more discerning, more influential, so we can understand more in order that we can be more of an encouragement and blessing. He has been and is equipping us for that NEXT LEVEL of understanding and function. Father wants us to overcome present opposition so we might be prepared to meet the NEXT LEVEL of challenges. Now, and in the NEXT LEVEL, we are casting off doubting and fear and courageously reaching forward to Christ Jesus Who is so graciously reaching out to us. The theme for DVP2022 Sept.9-11 is “Getting to the Next Level”. We will be praying, teaching and receiving to be HEARING at the next level, SEEING at the next level and SPEAKING at the next level.
MARTY will be speaking Friday night. DVP2022 will be a special gathering where those of like heart will be inspired and equipped to hear their Lord in dreams, visions and prophecy. (See Job 33:15-16; Joel 2:28; Rom.12:6)

Awareness of Our Part
Melissa — Now, what is our part in this next season? Awareness. We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a 
beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this.

Take the Hand
As the people of God assemble today may they encourage, and even urge, one another to take the hand of the Man Who stilled the waters, the hand of the Man Who calmed the sea. May they know that Hand is very close and very much available for those who will reach for it. And may they find courage and peace in knowing He won’t let go. Fear and the Dark Agenda
Melissa—With all that troubles and threatens in this present world, let me say a little about this fear issue. Psalm 19:9a says, “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever”. If there is a clean fear then that means there is an unclean fear. The state we are in is from harboring, cherishing, holding in mind, showing hospitality to either unclean fear or the fear of the Lord. Our life and belief system will show us which one we are entertaining. Unclean fear has allowed a very dark agenda to take hold of our nation, churches and our lives. That is why we must allow Holy Spirit to deal with things that haven’t been dealt with yet.

Kathy—Days of Elijah are days when lovers of darkness are dramatically desperate! 1Ki 18:28 “And they called with a loud voice, and cut themselves, according to their way, with swords and with spears until blood gushed out on them. 1Ki 18:29 And it happened as noon passed by, that they prophesied madly until the offering up of the offering; and no sound came, and no one was answering, and no one was paying attention.” Well, so be it in our day.

People Looking for an Urgent Care Center
An Urgent Care Center is always placed in an easily accessible location. You see them as you come and go but don’t particularly notice them until… you need one. Then, that is the one you run to. Someone somewhere has noticed you and there will be desperate times this year when people will run to an “urgent care” that doesn’t just help people with cuts and broken bones, but knows how to pray and trust God. People will suddenly come out of nowhere needing the intervention of God. People will walk up to you or call/text/email you from across the nation, from your past. Dietrich Bonhoeffer —“We must learn to regard people less in the light of what they do or omit to do, and more in the light of what they suffer.” They will open up about issues they have kept to themselves, issues that have defeated them time and again. They will even come to you with desperate physical needs. You will discover that you are the new urgent care and that you are well prepared as you are equipped by the Word of God and Holy Spirit. Eph.4:32,Amp—“Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding]…” Matt.14:13-14,Msg—“When Jesus got the news, he slipped away by boat to an out-of-the-way place by himself. But unsuccessfully—someone saw him and the word got around. Soon a lot of people from the nearby villages walked around the lake to where he was. When he saw them coming, he was overcome with pity and healed their sick.”

Well, That Backfired!
Melissa—I was having a discussion with a friend the other day about seeing demonic things and how it’s so unnerving. We were discussing how to deal with it and basically how to prepare for the next time it happens. As we are talking this out I start to realize something. I grew up seeing things like this, and I grew up hearing about others in the church dealing with these things. There has been more talk throughout my life of dark encounters than of encounters with the Kingdom realm. I realize part of that is because it has been taboo to talk about angels too much because “we don’t want to get into angel worship”. Well, that backfired! The fear of worshiping angels has led to entertaining demons, and the base of all of this is fear. It boils down to fearing everything else and not the Lord. Either we are bowing our knee in fear of the darkness or in fear/reverence of God and His Kingdom. We are meant to deal with the demonic and entertain angels. We partner with angels not worship them.

Elijah De-Masking the Troublers
Kathy—Days of Elijah were days of de-masking the troublers who projected their blame on others. After three years of no rain, there was almost nothing to eat anywhere and the LORD said to Elijah, “Go and meet with King Ahab. I will soon make it rain.” So Elijah went to see Ahab. When Ahab saw Elijah he shouted, “There you are, the biggest troublemaker in Israel!” Elijah answered: “You’re the troublemaker, not me! You and your family have disobeyed the LORD’s commands by worshiping Baal. Call together everyone from Israel and have them meet me on Mount Carmel. Be sure to bring along the four hundred fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table. Ahab got everyone together, then they went to meet Elijah on Mount Carmel. Elijah stood in front of them and said, “How much longer will you try to have things both ways? If the LORD is God, worship him! But if Baal is God, worship him!” The people did not say a word. The masks were off!

Abundance of Salvation and Wisdom in Our Times
As the people of God assemble today may they worship Yahweh in His holiness and His wisdom which shaped the world and keeps His people in the palm of His hand. May they receive the Father’s wisdom by His Word and His Spirit and may they share it one with another for resolve of trying pressures that seem unrelenting. Allowing God Due Access
We should expect and be watching and listening for the knowledge and wisdom Father is giving. This year is the year of saving money because we are allowing the Lord His due access to our mind, will and emotions. This year is the year of preventative considerations so that we do not have added burdens and misery, because we are allowing the Lord His due access to our mind, will and emotions. The Current Shape We Are In
Melissa—I realize that there are things that have been shaping my life and how I operate and prepare. This has helped me understand why I am in the current shape I am in and why the church and nation are in the shape they are in. We’ve been entertaining things that are not the will of God. We’ve been entertaining things that were never His intention for us because somewhere along the line something was suggested that brought agreement. We have entertained things personally, as a church and as a nation, that have shaped us into what we are right now. This is the year Father is waking us up to see what we have been entertaining.

But God Times
Kathy—The Days of Elijah are “BUT GOD” times. “Bring me your son,” Elijah said. Then he took the boy from her arms and carried him upstairs to the room where he was staying. Elijah laid the boy on his bed and prayed, “LORD God, why did you do such a terrible thing to this woman? She’s letting me stay here, and now you’ve let her son die.” Even Elijah’s issues surfaced in this battle of life and death. Evidently shaken by the widow’s upset and shouting, the prophet spoke to God as if He was being unjust! “BUT GOD” was waiting on him to calm down and work a miracle. (Remember that in days of battle.) Elijah stretched himself out over the boy three times, while praying, “LORD God, bring this boy back to life!” The LORD answered Elijah’s prayer, and the boy started breathing again. Elijah picked him up and carried him downstairs. He gave the boy to his mother and said, “Look, your son is alive.” As the widow could testify, the days of Elijah undeniably manifest the Power of God on earth.

Getting Ready for the Next Level
Dan.2:22,LB—“He reveals profound mysteries beyond man’s understanding. He knows all hidden things, for He is light, and darkness is no obstacle to Him.”
GETTING READY FOR THE NEXT LEVEL
God takes us to a NEW LEVEL so we can be more aware, more sensitive, more discerning, more influential, so we can understand more so we can be more of an encouragement and blessing. He has been and is equipping us for that NEXT LEVEL of understanding and function. Father wants us to overcome present opposition so we might be prepared to meet the NEXT LEVEL of challenges. Now, and in the NEXT LEVEL, we are casting off doubting and fear and courageously reaching forward to Christ Jesus Who is so graciously reaching out to us. DVP2022 will be a special gathering where those of like heart will be inspired and equipped to hear their Lord in dreams, visions and prophecy.

Entertaining Possibilities
Melissa—Let me give you a personal example of what the Holy Spirit was talking about when He said, “You have shown hospitality to things that have shaped your life.” “You have harbored things that have shaped your belief system.” A couple of days after hearing this I ended up with a throw-up headache. The following day I was driving, again, and was all caught up in making plans on how I would deal with one of these headaches if I was out in public. I was literally deciding on if I would try to get to a bathroom or just run outside to throw up when the Holy Spirit breaks right into the middle of this thought and says, “You are entertaining having headaches for the rest of your life.” There was a moment of stunned silence, then I realized that is exactly what I was doing while planning an emergency throw up evacuation plan. Wow. Just wow. I realized that things like this have been shaping my life and how I operate and prepare me for the worst to come. I have been entertaining the worst to come treating it like it’s a guest for me to give honor and my time. I was giving this horrible thing my agreement. It’s quite miserable to entertain a future that is the opposite of what God planned and provided.

War-Torn Times
Kathy—Days of Elijah were war-torn times with fresh battles continually breaking out. Several days into the battle against lack and starvation, another battle broke out in the widow’s life. Her son got sick and kept getting worse until finally he died (1K.17:17). The woman shouted at Elijah, “What have I done to you? I thought you were God’s prophet. Did you come here to cause the death of my son as a reminder that I’ve sinned against God?” War has a way of bringing the struggles of a warrior’s heart to the surface. Not only was she battling for survival and the life of her son, an old enemy showed up too. Condemnation reared its ugly head and pushed the war-torn woman to the edge of hopelessness, anguish and anger that had her shouting at the prophet. Hopelessness can smother the fight in us and usually leads to a pit of self-examination and despair. The widow went there and decided that losing her son was due to her past sins. That thinking would have had her throwing up her hands and quitting . . . BUT GOD.

May they be confident in making Bible-based decisions, taking a stand in Yahweh’s truth and righteousness and enjoy the fruit of the Tree of Life. Prov.2:6-7, NLT—“For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity”.

Stay Sharp
For those who look to the Lord, He will help us to stay sharp and enable us to make decisions and to notice things that an entity or a company tries to slip past us, and to notice extra charges that we didn’t bargain for in the beginning and to hear everything the business person is saying on the phone as they quickly go over the list of costs and items. We will not be intimidated into giving in when pressured. We will see the ol’ “switch-and-bait” coming before it takes its toll. We will no longer just settle for an item or cost we are not agreeable to just so we can get it all over with.

What Have you Been Entertaining?
Melissa—Recently I was driving and praying, minding my own business, when all of a sudden I clearly hear, “You have been entertaining things that have shaped your life and belief system.” Well, I instantly knew this was big and the Holy Spirit had just put His finger on something that has been a big hindrance in my life. When I got home I looked up the definition of ‘entertain’ and here’s what it says: “to show hospitality to, to hold in the mind; harbor; cherish, to receive and take into consideration, to have as a guest.” I knew what entertain meant but this was a whole new perspective. He was saying, “You have shown hospitality to things that have shaped your life.” “You have harbored things that have shaped your belief system.” “You have cherished things that have shaped who you are.” He wasn’t talking about the good things. For the Holy Spirit to make that clear in this moment, especially when I have been asking Him to give me insight and understanding, I knew He was revealing hidden things that needed to be dealt with.
