Allowing Holy Spirit’s Reasoning

May we quickly allow Holy Spirit to reason with us when we get over into a mentality of frustration and anger, and when we begin to express views and attitudes that aren’t even reasonable. May we seek and find His help in a timely fashion so that we may come to a godly solution before we cause ourselves, or others, unnecessary difficulties. Js.1:5,Amp—“If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.”

Remodeling Our Understanding

God will never change His mind about what we were born to be and born to do, for StubbornResisting.jpgthe gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. (Rom 11:29, NKJ)  However, He will remodel our understanding of “how” to walk out that calling when necessary, and He will reassure us when we are shaken, and He will provide undeniable confirmation to strengthen us along the way.  I pray we yield to His remodeling and wait for and recognize His confirmations. May we not be stubborn out of fear or reckless out of frustration, and may we not be impatient with His timing.   May we have the courage to walk with Him and see our gifts and callings confirmed. –Kathy

Frustration and Reason

May we allow the Holy Spirit to reason with us when we get over into a mentality of frustration and anger, and begin to express views and attitudes that aren’t even reasonable. May He help us to recover in a timely fashion and grant us grace to repair the breaches. “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD…” (Isa.1:18, KJV)
