Kathy—Obedience is not about being super-spiritual. No one has to be perfect to walk in purpose. Who can do what they were born to do solely out of their own abilities or strength or merit or worth anyway? We need the Lord and He is in reach. Psalm 84 tells us that God is there to give us grace (enabling) for now and favor for the future. Our part is simple obedience in response to the Holy Spirit’s promptings. That is the key to a harvest of God-results this year. Invest in that harvest through obedience and prosper.
May the favor of the Lord go before you (Deut.31:8,Amp), the Holy Spirit go in you (Jn.14:17,Amp) and angels go all around you (Ps.34:7).
This is the day the Lord has made (Ps.118:24) so…. I will rejoice and be glad and grow strong in spirit and be filled with wisdom in it. Jesus was born with purpose and so are we. From the beginning, He not only grew physically but in His spirit and in wisdom for what was to come. One of our major goals for our children in 2022 should be to see them filled with the Spirit and to train them in godly wisdom. “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him.” (Lk.2:40, Amp)
As the people of God assemble today may they join hands and hearts and look toward the coming year with expectancy for the purposes of the Lord in each other and the victorious intervention of the Lord in their behalf. “Paul, Silvanus (Silas), and Timothy, to the assembly (church) of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah): Grace (spiritual blessing and divine favor) to you and [heart] peace.” (1Thess.1:1, Amp)
May your phone ring with blessings, change for the good and favor.
“But every good endowment that we possess and every complete gift that we have received must come from above, from the Father of all lights, with whom there is never the slightest variation or shadow of inconsistency.” (Js.1:17, Phillips)
May you lift your head, get a deep breath, may your eyes clear and focus and may you walk in the way that is right and enjoy the favor of the Lord. “For the Lord God is a sun and a safe-covering. The Lord gives favor and honor. He holds back nothing good from those who walk in the way that is right.” (Ps.84:11, NLV)
May the Lord help tithers and givers to find ways to save money on purchases. May your eyes be opened to avenues of discount and event-sales that you have not been aware of previously. May you pay off purchases ahead of time and save on interest rates. May the Lord grant you favor to do business with those who are of the household of faith and bless them as you enjoy peace with them in the purchasing process. “I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.” (Isa.45:3, NKJV)
Trust is a principle that is not impossible to live. It’s a choice. The only things that stand in the way are experience and lies, both of which have to bow to the truth. Sometimes we just have to start by giving up increments of concern to the faithfulness of God. It really is okay to let go. For some of us that is harder than it sounds, but the depth of breath experienced on the other side is extraordinary. We are in a season of miracles, signs, and wonders. Dare to be a part of that by trusting the Trustworthy. “How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts You.” (Ps.84:12) (This is the seventh excerpt from the article “Trustworthy” by Melissa Gabler in SEEC Magazine.)
Trust keeps the door open to dwell in His presence. We stay around those we trust. Ps.84:11 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Trust is the gateway to God’s intentions for us, equipping, protection, grace, favor and all good things. It makes sense that the summation of this Psalm is, “O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You.” On top of being born to trust, these are compelling reasons to do so. (This is the sixth excerpt from the article “Trustworthy” by Melissa Gabler in SEEC Magazine.)
Have you felt that you were being assailed? In the Bible, the word “ASSAIL” means: to attack with violence; to attack with a view to produce changes in one’s feelings, character or conduct. There may be ample evidence all around you that you are being assailed, but I speak over you a blessed assurance that, as you cry out to Him, Heavenly Father is releasing His marvelous favor and lovingkindness in the midst of the assault and the assailant is being put to flight. The psalmist declares in 31:21,”Blessed be the Lord, For He has shown His marvelous favor and lovingkindness to me [when I was assailed] in a besieged city.” We are praying you discover daily God’s lovingkindness in your life. Have you felt lately that you were being assailed? It is difficult to replace that biblical description of what some of us have been under recently. “ASSAIL”: to attack with violence, to assault; to attack with a view to produce changes in the feelings, character or conduct; to shout at. Kathy and I have been assaulted with certain circumstances since the first of the year that have been building like a domino effect. Last night, sitting in my prayer chair, sometime after 2:00am it was as though I could hear a distant, faint laughter accompanied by a taunting voice saying, “And you thought that you would escape such circumstances.” This morning Kathy sat down at the piano amid the dampness and odor of mold and mildew and we began to sing of our Father’s faithfulness and we sang the names of our LORD that we worship and call on when “dominoes” are falling right and left. We decided to make our praises louder, louder than our racing hearts and louder than the clacking and falling “dominoes”. There is ample evidence all around us that we have been assailed but there is also a blessed assurance that our Father is releasing His marvelous favor and lovingkindness in the midst of the assault and the assailant is being put to flight.
”Blessed be the Lord, For He has shown His marvelous favor and lovingkindness
to me [when I was assailed] in a besieged city.” (Ps.31:21, Amp)

Today is a good day. May this be your good day in realizing and embracing
the blessings and protection of Jehovah God. Circumstances for the people
of God turned completely around, from things shaping up to wipe out the
entire Jewish population to people asking to be circumcised so they could
become Jews and partake in their obvious favor and blessings. Satan has
not yet learned the lesson that attempts to destroy the people of God end
up increasing them. Have a good day.
“And in each province and in each city wherever the king’s commandment
and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a banquet and a good
day. And many of the people of the land became Jews, for the fear of the
Jews fell upon them.” (Esther 8:17, Jubilee Bible)

No Fear of Being De-sonned (Kathy)
The offensive strategy of sons of God gathering to strengthen and equip and be enabled to serve their place of purpose and calling in life is going to pivot on the individual believer getting this and maturing into a confident Father/son relationship. That’s a relationship that cannot be shaken by mistakes or failures, a bond that cannot be weakened by hard times and a relationship that can’t be manipulated by accusation or condemnation. Condemnation is probably the #1 most successful tool against Christians because it causes people to live like yoyo’s—up one minute, down the next—vitally involved one month and feeling totally disqualified the next. Condemnation is deadly because it measures your salvation by your behavior and disqualifies you with every error, sin or failure. Here’s a key: condemnation can only do you damage when your focus is works and behavior instead of relationship. Sons know they don’t get into the family by being perfect, so they don’t fear being de-sonned because of imperfection. Condemnation always connects your behavior to your self-worth, but God doesn’t. So, mature sons must learn to think like their Father and not remain an immature son who is likely to disinherit himself.
(This is an excerpt from an article by Kathy Gabler entitled “Offense: The Kingdom In Action” in which she talks about the advantage of moving from merely a defensive strategy to an offensive strategy.)
Kathy and Melissa will be speaking on “Why You Are Wired The Way You Are” June 14-15 at Grace International in Willis,TX just north of Houston. Click on this link for more info: https://martygabler.com/calendar-events/
