Transition and the Unveiling Process

As the people of God assemble today, may they realize that we are not through transitioning. In fact biblical principle, according to Phil 1:6, proclaims that as long as we are in this present age the transitioning to His Image will continue. “{For I am} confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” (NAS) If God is going to complete the work He has begun in us that means transition, it means process; it means a proceeding word from God that takes an unveiling process. May the people of God encourage one another that the fruit and the benefit are worth the process.

Battle of the Mind

If a war breaks out within your mind, because you are sick yourself, when someone asks you to pray for them, that is a (behind the scenes) battle over sonship.  Even if we don’t voice it, as children of God we know our Father doesn’t withhold any good thing like healing, right?  So, when I am not healed, my sonship easily comes under fire, until I repent (which means I catch what I’m thinking and change it).  We change our thinking by remembering the Truth.  In this case, the truth is that infirmity cannot de-son nor de-daughter anyone because sonship is a covenant, not a condition.  Sons anticipate, meaning they already have a realization of the power of Father’s faithfulness to His Word and His Covenant, so they pray out of that confidence, even if their tooth is aching while they pray for someone’s fever. We don’t have to forego anticipation and participation in God-exploits, even while we are under attack or winning sonship wars. (Last excerpt from Kathy’s article “Anticipating the Power of the Kingdom”)

Speak Encouraging Words

This is the day the Lord has made so…  I will rejoice and be glad that the Holy Spirit enables me to edify others in it! 1Thess.5:11 says “So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you’re already doing this; just keep on doing it.” It is possible to turn someone’s day completely around. It is even possible to turn someone’s life completely around with just a few encouraging words inspired by the Holy Spirit. Edify means “to restore by building, to rebuild, repair, establish, to promote growth in Christian wisdom, affection, grace, virtue, holiness, blessedness.”  We are praying you discover daily that you are edifying others so they may realize their value in helping others.  (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24hrs/day.)

Anticipation is Key

What Jesus was attempting to communicate after going down from the Mount of Transfiguration is: “The things I’ve done were not just for historical records, they’re your calling, the template for your mandate and your future.  I’m not here to provide you a fleeting encounter with a super-Hero!  I’m here to inaugurate the sonship of powerful, effectual sons! When . . . are . . . you . . . gonna . . . get it?” An Equipping insight at this point is that Practice and Training to Anticipate the Power of the Kingdom of God is a major KEY for taking care of Father’s business on earth in our lifetime.  (Seventh excerpt from Kathy’s article “Anticipating the Power of the Kingdom”)

Mouth Hanging Open

Peter then said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tabernacles, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”  The next verse says that Peter blurted this out without thinking, simply because they were all so stunned by what they were seeing.  I don’t blame Peter for that outburst.  Those three disciples were experiencing Kingdom Power that broke barriers in logic, time and history.  And, by the way, HOW would the disciples  have recognized Moses & Elijah?  There were no history books with photos, no name-tags . . . Perhaps Jesus introduced them . . . and can you picture that? How would you be able to look eye-to-eye with Moses and smile or nod? Or how would you shake Elijah’s hand without your legs falling off? Maybe they weren’t introduced, but they knew them because they were intently eavesdropping, while frozen in a dead stare with their mouths hanging open!  (The third excerpt from Kathy’s article “Anticipating the Power of the Kingdom”)

Anticipating the Power of the Kingdom

Considering anticipating the power of the Kingdom, I set out to find some equipping insights or basics to walk out that anticipation in real life.  I started by finding a definition of anticipation is “an impression in advance,” so it is an impression of Kingdom Power in advance of experiencing it. Anticipation is a realization before it happens, so it is a realization of Kingdom Power before it happens. Anticipation is a foretaste, so it is tasting Kingdom Power before it’s time to eat! For three-plus years, Jesus demonstrated the Power of the Kingdom and that produced ANTICIPATION, an impression, a realization and a foretaste.  He did this through healing and deliverance and powerful gifts of the Spirit and through taking dominion over weather, fish, fig trees, death and demons.  (The first excerpt from Kathy’s article “Anticipating the Power of the Kingdom”)

Stay the Course

The divine plan has been devised, the divine plan has been implemented and those who determine to stay the course will enjoy the benefits of the divine conclusion. In the face of unyielding, defying and threatening circumstances a trusting Bible-reading son/daughter of God must stand on their Father’s report and proclaim, “I anticipate the inevitable, supernatural intervention of God”.  (The last excerpt from Marty’s article “Anticipation Nation”)

Forget Regret

May our Lord minister to your memory and regret so that you seldom, if ever, think of those things again that caused them;  and if you do happen to think of them, may they not take any toll on your sense of worth or readiness to obey your Lord. May He move upon the hearts and minds of those who have freeze-framed you, to just let it go. (Isa.50:7-8, Msg)  “And the Master, God, stays right there and helps me, so I’m not disgraced. Therefore I set my face like flint, confident that I’ll never regret this.  8  My champion is right here.  Let’s take our stand together!  Who dares bring suit against me?  Let him try!”  We are praying you discover daily that your thoughts are on Jesus Christ, your Champion.  (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24hrs/day.)

Hold on to the Rail

There is a shifting going on and opportunities for many but we must hold on to the rail and continue to make progress. Recently (as I was praying over some persons we are ministering to) I saw a person walking down a passageway of a large ship. The ship appeared to be rolling as a result of rough seas. The person was trying, as best as they could, to maintain their balance. Then, they noticed the handrail on the wall. It was like, “Oh, yes, I could hold on to that!”. So they gripped the rail and took another step and shifted their grip forward and took another step. Even though the seas may roll and make progress tedious, God’s Word and His faithfulness are the rail we can grip and continue to move forward with. “You are to follow only God, your God, hold him in deep reverence, keep his commandments, listen obediently to what he says, serve him—hold on to him for dear life!” (Deut.13:4, Msg)

Anticipation Nation

I know that the Bible says that we are a nation of kings and priests but I believe that, from consideration of the assurances in holy Scripture, we could also accurately say that we are an Anticipation Nation. We can anticipate (1) seeing the direction of the Lord for our lives and our nation; (2) seeing things that are tending toward harm and/or interference (in our families, churches, jobs and nation) so they might be averted; (3) seeing blessings and advantages that are available to us through the promises and purposes of God Almighty; and (4) seeing strategy and how to pray for people we are concerned for.  (The fifth excerpt from Marty’s article “Anticipation Nation”)

Anticipate the Intervention of God

What are each of us anticipating seeing in coming days? Though we have often heard it said, it couldn’t help but do us good to say it again, “I anticipate the inevitable, supernatural intervention of God”. If faith comes by hearing, we should stoke the belly of that powerful believing steam engine with Scripture and upward looking quotations of victorious anticipation.   (The second excerpt from Marty’s article “Anticipation Nation”)

“Mature sons of God are peacemakers who have the ability and insight to make peace. Strife and division in a home is a sign of immaturity. A father of a household needs to know how to reconcile and bring peace to his home and family.”— Simon Purvis

Trust is a Principle of the Kingdom

Trust is a principle of the Kingdom.  God knew what He was doing when He created it.  It’s life-bearing, abundant-life-bearing. How beautiful it is that the principles of God are set in place to provide the John 10:10 abundant life for all who live them.  He gave us a map for life.  Check this out, Psalm 84:12 (AMP) “O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation].” Yes, that is beautiful.  But check out the rest of Psalm 84. It literally lines out what a life looks like that trusts God. Vs. 4 “Blessed and greatly favored are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; They will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah.”
(This is the fourth excerpt from the article “Trustworthy” by Melissa Gabler in SEEC Magazine.)

Promises With Anticipation

As the people of God assemble today, may they thoughtfully consider the infallible Word of God read in their hearing. May they stand upon each and every one of its promises and look with anticipation to the days ahead so they might see that their God has gone before them to show them the way. ”The Lord said to Moses, ‘Is the Lord’s hand (ability, power) limited (short, inadequate)? You shall see now whether My word will come to pass for you or not.’” (Num.11:23, Amp)

Anticipation = Wise Preparation

We may very well need to separate ourselves in anticipation of what we do not see in this moment so that we might see it in the next. We will need to separate ourselves from what we have not seen in the past year. In order to see what we need to see in the next moment (or the next year) we must separate ourselves from the distractions, interferences and disqualifiers of the present. Joshua’s instruction for the people to “separate themselves apart from” could include separating from such practical and mundane things as (1.) cynicism (2.) unbelief (3.) opinions of others (4.) from past disappointments (5.) from past events that never culminated in the desired outcome and (6.) from people who never followed through with influence or promises. Joshua’s words that seem to really stand out in 3:5 are, “Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow.” Anticipation is not an emotion but a matter of wise adjustments and preparation.   (This is the sixth excerpt from Marty’s article “Anticipation”.)

Our Part in the Next Season

breathe inWhat is our part in this next season? Awareness.  We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight.  Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion.  After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors.  You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda.  Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity.  One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues.  Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this.
(This is the fifth excerpt from Melissa Gabler’s article “A Guide For This Season”.)

Enjoy the Will of God in 2019

WalkingHappyMay you not fling away your fearless confidence. May you find that it carries a great compensation of reward. May you have a steadfast patience and endurance and, with them, perform and fully accomplish the will of God. May you enjoy doing the will of God in 2019. May you receive what is promised. We are praying you discover daily that you are walking more and more in that for which you were born.
(Heb.10:35-36, Amp) “Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.”

Get a Deep Breath

FreshbreathAs the people of God seek His face today may those whose hearts are heavy from failures, defeats and grief of the past lift their heads, get a deep breath and realize that they are part of the family of God and that they have strength and fellowship through Christ our Lord and the family of God to go on to victories in the coming days.
“But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.  4  With my voice I cry to the Lord, and He hears and answers me out of His holy hill. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! (Ps.3:3-4, Amp)

2017: The Game Changer

oneweek(Melissa) 2017: The Game Changer — While getting ready this morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Take this year one week at a time.” I found that very interesting. I kept wanting to make it one “day” at a time, but He didn’t say that! This is not about making plans for the year. This is in regard to day after day life. Particularly those things that have run their course and seemed delayed. That which needs clarity and resolve. Take it week by week. Take a deep breath, stand tall, and show this week who has the last word. Then, all of a sudden, things will change!

What Does the Coming Generation Anticipate?

What will the coming generation anticipate? What are they anticipating now and who was it that set them up to anticipate it? The coming generation will anticipate something. One of the biggest favors we can do the coming generation is to build anticipation into them. Let’s build into them anticipation for the intervention of God, anticipation to see God do something no previous generation has ever seen. Before Daniel came along, who had ever seen anyone walk out of a lion’s den? Before Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came to town, who had ever seen three guys walk out of a fiery furnace without even so much as smelling like smoke? Let’s get our chins up off of our chests and allow our eyes to look upward into the Limitless One. ”Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” (Ps.24:7, KJV) Every time people speak of tragedy and hopelessness, let us say to the coming generation, “But God….”. Let’s help them keep their anticipator alive and well and functioning at peek capacity. Let’s charge it up at every opportunity!
