It Brings Radical Results

KATHY GABLER–It is possible that fresh obedience will bring such radical results that it will be tempting to get caught up in revolution rather than obedience! That is a warning to the wise. If we become revolutionary through passion rather than wisdom and obedience, the results will not be the same. Making changes for the sake of change is about passion. Expecting or demanding immediate change can be about impatience rather than obedience. Nevertheless, fresh obedience will be revolutionary.

Unresolved Anger

KATHY–Unresolved anger can become a distorted filter, like seeing thru bitter, lemon-yellow glasses. So anger affects one’s view of self, God, people and situations and it destroys self-confidence, health, lifestyle and destiny. Anger is a strong passion, which in itself is not sin, but we can sin in how we handle it. We must resolve it according to Godly principles and resolve it quickly.

True Grit

As the people of God assemble today may they be infused with true grit and be inspired to be willing to go the distance many others are not; be willing to face what many others are not; be willing to resist what many others are not; be willing to do what many others are not. May each one be infused with determination for the King and His Kingdom that is born of higher stuff than mere stubbornness. Rom.12:11-12, TPT — “Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let him fill you with excitement as you serve him. 12 Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble, but commune with God at all times.”

Release From The Pattern Of Anger

BirdFlyAwayUnresolved anger can become a driving force, a passion, an energy that can seem good and productive, while it undermines like termites until the core of character, integrity, hope and joy of life is eaten away. Unresolved anger can become depression, fear, sickness and even a pattern of failure. I know a young lady whose anger at criticism and injustice as a child kept her grieving. She became a prisoner of her focus. Because she could not take her eyes off of her victimization, she remained a victim, actually positioning herself for more criticism and injustice. Resolving her anger was the release from the pattern.

Loosing The Anchor Of Anger

BoatAdrift_1Anger is a strong passion, which of itself is not sin; but we sin, or miss the mark, by how we DEAL with it, (Eph 4:26-32). We MUST resolve it according to Godly principles, and resolve it QUICKLY! Ignoring anger does not make it go away. Anger is tangible, as literal as a hot coal. It will burn and destroy . . . health, relationships, opportunities, destiny. Exploding in temper does not resolve anger because even after the bomb blows, it regenerates if there is no CHANGE of heart or issues! Unresolved anger can change form until it is unrecognizable. It can become a witty cynicism. If my jokes and remarks make people laugh the anger doesn’t seem so dangerous! But anger can anchor GRIEF to our lives! The Pace Of Purpose

The Pace Of Purpose (Kathy)

Another consideration in that gap between expectation and manifestation is the pace of purpose during process.  We must adjust our passions to the pace of purpose sail boatsrather than trying to adjust God’s purpose to the pace of our passions. Whether we can see how or not, our purpose always connects to other people and a bigger picture.  So, the pace of our purpose will ebb and flow at times because of who and what surrounds us in a season.  Expectations and discernment can get bogged down during the ebbs, so keeping our “expector” above the bog is essential.  I am not implying that it is a new thing for the Holy Spirit to release insights, but I believe they are going to increase in dimension and impact to a new level this year.
